Horrendous time at the villa. All the bedding was soiled and brown stained. There was rubble all over the outside area. One of the curtains was slashed. There was nails coming out the ground near the pool and a broken hammock where the pergola was supposed to be. The wall had bricks missing. The furniture was dirty. After thirty minutes of being there all the fire alarms started going off. When we got there the fridge and freezer were full of ice and unusable. The kickboard under the kitchen was off. Some of the lights weren't working. The outside shower was running brown water. There were four sunbeds, three were broken. We lasted less than 24 hours and had to find an alternative place to stay.

Dear Chris Thank you for your feedback. We were sorry your stay did not meet expectations. Cleanliness, safety and guest comfort are very important to us, and the issues raised were taken seriously. The immediate points were dealt with within 24hrs, and after your stay we carried out a full review with our maintenance and housekeeping teams. Any items identified were addressed promptly, with additional deep cleaning completed to ensure the villa met the expected standard. You also mentioned the spare-room mattress. The mark was where a label had previously been removed, but as an extra precaution we have since replaced all mattresses with brand-new ones. From our separate correspondence, I understand the main concern was the villa’s location and local amenities during your April visit. The villa is in a peaceful, elevated coastal resort area, as described in the listing, and many guests choose it for its tranquil setting. During the quieter off-peak season, some local amenities may operate reduced schedules, so we recommend guests hire a car or use local taxis if they wish to explore Bodrum, Gumbet, Yalikavak, Milas and the surrounding area. We encourage guests to review the location details carefully before booking, to ensure the villa is the right fit for the holiday they want. While we are disappointed the villa did not provide the experience you hoped for, we appreciate you raising your concerns and wish you all the best with your future travels. Warm regards Ian

Enjoyed the localization of the house and its commodities

Stayed 10 days with 2 other members of the family we had ample room to enjoy our privacy & each other company. Enjoyed the pool that was cleaned every 2 daysClose to beaches and restaurants.Highly appreciated

Fantastic villa

Great sized villa in a quiet location which suited my family needs. Stayed for 4 weeks ! Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Villa is situated on a hilly site, but there is an access gate to get to shops easier ! Turquoise restaurant deliver to the villa, and you can easily access taxis.

Lovely week

Lovely week at this property, it had everything you could need for a relaxing time. Private pool was just right and the shared facilities excellent. Only downside for anyone with mobility problems was the fact that there are very steep hills to tackle although taxis are cheap and easy to come by.

Property good. Pool lovely. A couple of issues were rectified within an hour by Paula. Ian provided lots of information regarding the property and area which was mostly up to date and very useful.My only niggle was the beds were not very comfortable.

Relaxing

Chilled and relaxing stay . Friendly place , relatively cheap . The villa is lovely, a few maintenance issues and problems with the water but that was due to the local reservoir so couldn’t be helped . I would stay again . A bit tired in places but still a great stay for a chilled out holiday . Sad to be leaving .

Stunning villa with beautiful pool and view.

We had two weeks here and thoroughly enjoyed what the villa has to offer. Spacious and modern with all mod cons. The pool is fabulous. Cleaned regularly and discreetly. The host was very informative about the area and gave good advice on day trips. Thank you.

Lovely large villa

Thanks Ian for the great information that you send out prior to the trip. Ugur and the boat trip was fantastic - a highlight of the holiday. Villa was clean, lovely and spacious and pool was great. Everything you needed for a good stay - we did cook once or twice and had everything we needed to do so. We ate out most of the time - choice not great (if you want to walk) but Sunset Cafe was lovely and Gol & Et (above the larger Migros supermarket) was great. All in all really nice relaxing holiday.

Great family retreat

The house itself is quite nice, with a private swimming pool and stunning views. The house had everything you need whether you wanna cook or you need a sunblock before swimming. The house is about 30-40mim drive to Bodrum. Paula, the property manager was very kind and responsive. I have forgotten few stuffs and she kindly mailed it to me. Overall, we had a really great experience. I will definitely recommend this place for couples and family.

Fantastic villa

The villa was everything we hoped it would be. Really good location for supermarkets and restaurants. Lots within walking distance. The private pool was amazing. Comfortable beds and furniture, ( important for 2 week stay ) . Would recommend car hire if you want to travel but we didn’t as booked for a relaxing holiday. Would not recommend the on site restaurant as staff are more interested in there phones than service. On site shop staff are lovely and helpful. Ian Bidmead was really helpful and let us change dates a few times. Paula was available to answer our questions while there. Would definitely recommend this villa.

My experience

The property itself could be really nice, lovely view's. But when we arrived, It was dirty, we had we re-wash bed sheets and towels, and there was know one there to greet us. The outside needed sorting, pool was dirty and there was not enough sunbeds for the number of guests. All floor's needed cleaning and the kitchen appliances all needed cleaning and replacing. The villa is on a hill and there are a lot of steps to get down to the villa it self, which we knew nothing about. If you have any disabilities you would not be able to access the villa, even babies and prams would be difficult. My stepdad has parkinsons and he found it extremely hard some days/nights to get down them. No lights for them either, for safety.

I'm sorry if the cleaner fell short on the high standards we try to maintain, on this occasion, and I have reviewed this with the cleaning company. It would appear that the extremely drought in the area at the time meant the water supply to the villa was temporarily affected on the day it was cleaned that led to the service not being to its usual high standards - sincere apologies. Being in an elevated position on a peninsula does mean that steps are unavoidable, sadly, but I have taken your comments on board and have made it clearer on the advert that there are some steps leading down to the front door from the car parking space. Great villa with good local amenities

Spacious property. Garden is pretty private and only overlooked by one property next door, however it seems to be privately owned so was empty for most of the time we were there. The pool is plenty big enough for splashing around in and there were various lilo's available. The sun is on the pool for most of the day (that was early June), and it was shaded from about 5pm-ish. There are various shaded areas around the garden. The Clubhouse is 2 mins walk if you go out through the back of the garden. The pool is nice and there are a couple of water slides. Loads of sun beds and umbrellas. There is a tennis court that we used a lot (use the racquets in the villa, they are old but much better than the ones you can borrow). Balls are available from the security lodge but we did buy some and left them behind. There is also a crazy golf but it has seen better days. The local dogs like to sleep in the garden overnight but they were very placid and wandered off as soon as we were up and about. The area is quite rural so some of the roads aren't in great condition. There are also some steep hills but it's all part of the fun of exploring a different country! There are several good restaurants in walking distance and the staff were all really friendly and welcoming and spoke English. There are several small beaches within a few minutes drive with good facilities, including food, ice creams, toilets, umbrellas, sun loungers. One has little tiki huts full of cushions.

We had a few problems outside the control of the contact there; Paula.We had to have a new boiler fitted (2 days without hot water)We had to have a new circulating pump fitted to the pool. It had seized, possibly because the strainer basket was never cleaned whilst we were there.The most inconvenient issue though, was that we had to move everything from our rooms into the ground floor bedroom, on our final day, because the cleaner had to come and prepare the villa for tomorrow's letting. We had informed everybody that we would be leaving at about 2100hrs on 18th July.We had arranged to meet friends that afternoon; come and dress to go out for dinner; come back and shower and final packing before leaving at 2100hrs.Even after we were told that the cleaner would not clean the ground floor until after we had left, she insisted on doing it at 1600hrs, whilst we were there!We were in her way, and she was most definitely in our way. No showers after dinner, and we couldn't leave the villa unattended to see our friends.Very, very disappointing, as it was obvious it was all about maximising the income from having another letting immediately after hours. Cleaning should be done after our letting and before the next one, and not during our letting!

Regarding check out time, it is clearly stated that on the day of departure, check out is 11am, so the villa can be prepared and cleaned for the next guest in good time. This is perfectly normal practice. I have checked our correspondence and at no time did you request a late check out, which I will always seek to accommodate, if possible, by prior agreement. War sehr schön.

Sehr guter Vermieter. Die Lage ist sehr schön. Wir haben uns gut erholt. Ohne Auto ist es schwierig die Umgebung zu erkunden und an einen Strand zu kommen.

Der Check in war unkompliziert und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch wunderbar geklappt. Das Haus ist groß und es ist wirklich alles da was man benötigt. Die Betten schlafen sich gut. In jedem Zimmer gibt es eine Klimaanlage, die man dort im Hochsommer definitiv auch Mal braucht. Der Pool ist toll und die Aussicht der Hammer. Im großen und ganzen war es ein gelungener Urlaub.

Very spacious property in Excellent neighbourhood

Everything was great, nothing to complain about, Paula was available if we needed anything, the landlord stayed in touch which was nice.

Great Vacation

Perfect space for our family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the private pool! Communication with the owner was very easy. The manager of the property was quick to respond to questions and was very helpful.

Amazing view and an amazing compound

The Compound was very nice includes all the necessary places such as mini markets and restaurants the house was very clean and most necessarily the host was responsive and helpful

As a British family man, with an extended family of six children ranging from 4 to 24, I know the importance of a great holiday villa to relax and chill out. Having rented dozens of villas myself over the years, I always try and imagine myself in the guest’s shoes and take as much hassle away from them as possible.

It was my sisters property, and she owned it from when it was first built. She let me stay on it a couple of times and I loved it so much I decided to buy it when she was moving to a different area of Turkey.

For me, Holidays are about peace and quiet, a great pool, good restaurants, friendly service, and beautiful views and Jade 15 has all of these things in abundance, which is why I still holiday there every year.

It’s beautifully quiet and peaceful, but only 20 minutes from the airport and only 25 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Bodrum. It’s got the best of both worlds at a great value price
