Review of Lama property

We love St Barts and all in all we had a great time. We had a few issues with the property,flooding in the kitchen, dish washer did not work, stove ran out of gas. We ran out of paper towels and toilet paper so we purchased some at the grocery store.

Great place for couples or friends

This property is beautiful. I came with my college girlfriends and 5 of us slept comfortably and enjoyed every minute of hanging out by the pool and enjoying the sun!

Wonderful Stay

Great stay at Villa Lama. Highly appreciated all the help that Pierre provided to ensure a smooth stay and assistance booking restaurants. All was done even before we arrived. The villa is decorated to a high standard, with lots of outdoor areas for dining/ reading/ glass of wine. Loved the outdoor shower. The only watch out is regarding mosquitoes, the property has extensive gardens and so wearing repellent is essential.

Natural scenic spot

We really enjoyed the place, and the fresh Choissy croissant and baguette every morning was a nice touch. Very natural green setting, great room and outdoor shower.

Fantastic!

We loved this villa and had a wonderful vacation with family! Pierre’s assistant Tienou was super helpful and responsive. The toilet seat in the outdoor bathroom was broken and missing toiletries in one of the rooms, but otherwise the stay and service was excellent.

The best villa on the island...

WOW! What an incredible villa. The pictures do not do it justice - such a beautiful property. From several outdoor seating areas, to the bedrooms, to the pool - this villa has it all (not to mention amazing views!). Pierre was also top notch! From the moment we booked the hospitality was 100%, He was able to answer all of our questions during the booking, and during our stay. It was so wonderful waking up to freshly baked, and delivered croissants every morning. We can't wait to return! Thank you Pierre for such a wonderful stay!

Spectacular!

We cannot say enough good things about this property and the island of St. Barthelemy! This villa is better than photographed, and the space is huge. The bedrooms are separated from the kitchen/living room area, which would be great for groups, but even worked well for our family (it was nice to get up in the morning and not worry about waking our kids!). The pool accommodated us all well and the views are beautiful. This villa has a lot of plant life, and so there are a fair number of mosquitos, but after mentioning this to the owners they had the property treated the next day and was much less of an issue. We cooked almost every meal in the kitchen, which was well equipped. We especially loved the baguette delivery every morning from Lara! Pierre has been fabulous to work with, we have even booked a stay for next year already!

Perfect for family and at least To stay a week.

We spent a week In family at vila lama ,it was an amazing time,The house is very charming, clean and also The localization is very good,near by supermarket,AirPort and a lot of beaches and just 3kms from gustavia,The city Center,We just loved The experience and We recomend for families that want To stay In a confort and safe house at that Paradise. Hidden Paradise

What a memorable holiday! From the initial inquiry to finally saying goodbye to St Barts, everything went so smoothly. Thank you Pierre for all your help organizing this 50th birthday celebration! Waking up every morning to fresh baguettes and croissants, to organizing the afternoon sailing then back to have a private chef prepare a fabulous 50th bday dinner at the villa, to dinner recommendations... Pierre, you made us feel like we were royalty. The villa is extremely clean and comfortable. It's a short walk to Flamands beach, one of the most beautiful on the island, and lunch at Hotel Tawaina was incredible. The villa provided us with everything we needed - each bedroom is it's own quaint building with incredibly comfortable beds; our choice of different seating areas to chat or have an afternoon nap; the pool was inviting for an early morning dip or afternoon cool down; a kitchen with everything you need; and outdoor showers (not something we do in Canada). Villa Lama is located high in the hills with beautiful views, close enough to amenities and yet far enough away to feel like you're in your own private oasis. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the island!

Unique Gem

We are grateful we found and decided to stay at this amazing property for our first trip to St. Barths. It was centrally located and had comfortable accommodations perfect for just my husband and I. It is hard to see in the photos, but be aware you are surrounded somewhat closely by other homes on the hillside and will hear neighbors talking so just keep that in mind that if you want complete privacy. We spent most of our time exploring the island (hike to Colombier beach is a must!) so it wasn't an issue for us. We literally had no worries from time of arrival to departure as Pierre made sure everything was handled logistically which greatly enhanced our experience! We are thankful for the time we had at Villa Lama!

Beautiful Property in Great Location

Villa Lama is a beautiful property located in the Flamands area with views of the water. You can walk down the hill to the beach or to eat lunch at the Cheval Blanc or Hotel Tawaina. Besides its convenience, Lama offers charming and private accommodations along with an incredible common space perfect for dinner parties. Beyond the spectacular villa itself, the House Manager Pierre was incredibly kind and attentive. No request was too big and he answered all of my questions as they came up. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Lama for your next St Barth vacation!

Vacation getaway

Thank you to Pierre and Melina for making our stay enjoyable. The sprawling home has many areas to relax and reflect upon. The many restaurants are fantastic. Pierre recommendations are spot on. The home is country comfort and clean. The only but... Would be the steep driveway which was a fun adventure in itself. Daily bread and pickup and drop off with car rental waiting made trip stress free. Overall would highly recommend.

Nichée dans un écrin de verdure, surplombant la baie des Flamands (vue très sympa), la construction en bois de la quasi-totalité des cases qui composent la villa l'intègre parfaitement à son environnement. Non seulement, la villa est agréable à l'oeil, mais elle l'est aussi du point de vue du confort, puisque rien ne manque. L'accueil de Pierre-Bertrand qui gère la villa, était impeccable. De notre arrivée à l'aéroport, au petit déjeuner livré chaque matin, en passant par les petites demandes satisfaites dans l'instant... nous avons été ravis ! Au final, magnifique villa au puissant goût de revenez-y ;)))

GORGEOUS VILLA - PERFECT STAY

We stayed at Villa Lama for a week with my parents and my 2 kids and we had the best time! It is very conveniently located at 1' drive from Flamands beach which is wonderful. The villa is full of charm, very well decorated, very private and spacious with lots of different areas. It is surrounded by nature with a great ocean view. The villa is very central, 10' drive from St Jean airport and 5' from Gustavia harbor. We felt home immediately. Pierre-Bertrand who runs the villa was the best, welcoming us at the airport, bringing fresh croissants & baguettes every morning, helping us booking babysitters, restaurants, and yet being very discreet and not intrusive. We loved having the cleaning lady coming every day doing our beds, etc. I highly recommend the villa to anyone who is looking for a beautiful/calm/spacious villa to rent in St Barth. We simply loved it and we want to book it again! (Also, the villa has a few stairs here and there but it was never a problem for my children -2 years and 6 months)

Beautiful villa at a very reasonable price

We've been to St. Bart's five times and would consider this one of the best villas for the price. Very tastefully-decorated, well-equipped and spacious yet private. The arrangement of the bedrooms in separate bungalows provides great privacy for several couples, and the living room area is spacious and well-suited for group gatherings. The outdoor seating areas are truly spectacular. I would definitely stay here again. Pierre was also great to work with - attentive throughout the booking process and during our stay. Beds were also very comfortable with top-quality linens. We enjoyed the area too, close to Flamand's beach, and the location is very central to drive into to St. Jean or Gustavia. I would highly recommend the villa and the company Luxe St. Bart's. Jill Heinrich

Unique hill top Villa with great views

Super villa and location. Pierre met us at the ferry with two rental cars, took our luggage up to the villa, brought breakfast and checked in with us every day, booked restaurants, and brought us back to the ferry with luggage and rental cars on the last day. Fantastic villa with great views and very unique set up with separated en suite bedrooms laid up the hillside.

Beautiful View and Excellent Service

Pierre is wonderful. He made everything happen for us, including a rental car and a wonderful housekeeper. St. Bath's is a lovely island to begin with and Flamands is an excellent location to get away from it all. The property consists of separate rooms for bedrooms, so privacy is extraordinary. The public spaces are open air and all provide excellent views of the Ocean, the pool is a crisp refreshment and the grilling station is great for fetching Mahi-Mahi from the local market. This property is located within walking distance of one of the islands best patisseries, and is a 2 minute drive to the Flamands beach, which is excellent. Gustavia is a short drive away. We will def. return -- an excellent value relative to other St. Barth's properties--this one quickly escalated to the top of our short list and we feel fortunate to have been able to secure it.

Très haut niveau!

Nous avons séjourné en famille dans cette magnifique villa/propriété. Les différents espaces crées permettent de profiter pleinement de l'intimité qu'offre la propriété arborée. Carbet pour l'apéro, braséro pour le repas, farniente au bord de la jolie piscine, tout est fait pour offrir la variété avec un niveau de finition et une décoration naturelle/choc, sans fausse note. La villa est très bien située, proche de Gustavia, st jean et la belle plage de Flamands. L'accueil, la disponibilité et les bons plans de Pierre Bertrand sont évidement un point fort qui relève encore le niveau de prestation offert.
