Our family (ages 3 to 84!) had a wonderful stay at Myrtle's Beach House. Finding a home that comfortably accommodates a large group isn't easy, but this one was perfect. Everyone had room to spread out, yet there were great spaces to gather for cards, board games, movies, meals, and conversation.The location was wonderful. Even in a neighborhood, it felt secluded, and the lake views from the deck were beautiful. Morning coffee overlooking the water instantly became a favorite.One standout was the kitchen. Everything was labeled! It may seem like a small detail, but with a large family cooking together, it made meal prep and cleanup nearly effortless. The large kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, and pantry space. The double oven was also convenient!The big yard gave the kids room to play while the adults relaxed nearby. We made great use of the hot tub, volleyball net, kayaks, and paddle boards.This home is well designed for large groups. The roomy bedrooms, loft, and multiple family rooms gave everyone a comfortable place to sleep as well as gather. We especially loved the pull-out trundle beds. They gave space for the younger cousins to have their own "sleepovers" while still having beds of their own.Instructions for check-in & out were clear and easy.After renting places for our annual family vacation the last few years, this one is at the top of our list. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home; we would love to stay here again!

The property was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was clean.The bedrooms worked well for our family's with young children with extra beds in the bedrooms. Great family reunion place!

We absolutely loved our stay at Myrtle's Beach House! Everything we needed was there at our fingertips. We really didn't lack for fun for all ages and the space was perfect for our family of 25 people. It was clean and well outfitted and on a good location.

Fun Family Getaway

We enjoyed gathering our children and grandchildren and having enough space and bedding for all of us to stay at this house. It was clean, comfortable, and close to town and the marina. Our family really enjoyed the fun backyard with all the activities it offered, and the fire pit was enjoyed as well! Great hosts answered all of our questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

BEST large group VRBO in Garden City

This home is the PERFECT location for a large family gathering at Bear Lake. The house was very comfortable and clean and has plenty of room. Plus they have sporting equipment (kayaks, bicycles, badminton court and rackets. We enjoyed the outdoor fire-it for evening relaxing and the kids made s'mores. The owner, Dana, was communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Family Reunion

The property offered a great location, close to beaches and restaurants. Rendezvous Beach was the family favorite just 12 minute drive from the house. Best part was a large deck, patio, and yard that kept the young ones outside and having old fashion fun instead of in the house watching TV and playing video games. Even the parents put their phones down for long periods of time. Great time!

Family Reunion

We stayed here for a family reunion. The house was lovely. The kitchen well stocked, the outside playground, lawn, and fire pit were really nice. We had 31 in our group and it met our needs. One downside, the loft gets hot.

We had a wonderful time! The kids and adults all loved the variety of entertainment options...badminton, ping pong, playset, video games, movies and lots of space to run and play. Having gathering areas upstairs, downstairs and outside allowed us to have different kinds of activities in different areas. We enjoyed a talent show around the barbecue pot, stories on the main floor and more upbeat family time in the basement. As organizer, I was especially grateful for 2 fridges, lots of pantry space and even a small fridge that we dedicated to anytime snacks. The cousins had a great time sleeping together in the loft area and we had enough bedrooms that each family could escape to their own space when needed. Beautiful home and area!

Great Family Fun

Our family of children, grandchildren and spouses numbers above 40. Most of us stayed at this house. The family members liked it so much that all but one voted for us to go to this house again for our next family reunion! Volleyball, Bad-mitten, and ping pong and the children's play area were great for everyone!

Great house and location!

The house is the perfect size for our group of 22. The kids enjoyed all the amenities it had to offer and the parents were grateful for that! The bikes and playstation were a hit. The listing says it can fit 39 but in my opinion 20 to 25 people is the perfect amount. The kitchen and counterspace was a bit small for preparing for such a large group but we made it work. The pantry was great for keeping everything off the counter. Great house and great location!

Ideal for the size of our family. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we've ever experienced in vacation rentals over 20 years. It was great to have the kayaks, etc. in the garage besides what we brought. The carpet is worn enough in places that the carpet nails are dangerous and caused injuries. ( just band-aid punctures, but hurtful.)

Our family enjoyed our stay at Myrtle’s Beach immensely. The accomodations were perfect for our family size of 25 having 6 rooms for couples as well as 2 rooms for the grandsons and granddaughters to all be together. The girls loved the cute loft room although it was quite warm during the day even with the trundle bed pulled to free the covered air vents. It would have been nicer if both the windows could have been opened in the evenings to cool the cool the room down. (Only one window could be partially opened due to locks on one and no screen on the other.) Fortunately the backyard was so wonderful that much of the time the kids were outside anyway

I have been coming to Bear Lake with my grandma, Muriel "Myrtle" and our extended family since I was a little girl. I introduced my husband to this beautiful lake and we have been bringing our family here since we first got married. We LOVE Bear Lake and I have always wanted to own a home here. When we bought this house we knew we would name it after the woman who started it all - my grandma Myrtle.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

1. VIEWS. There are gorgeous views of the lake from the large deck and from every window on the eastside of the house.
2. LOCATION. The house is just a few blocks from the walking/biking path that runs through Garden City. It is an easy walk/bike ride to town for shakes or to the public beach access at the city park.
3. ROOMS. With 7 bedrooms there are plenty of rooms for smaller family groups to have their own rooms and the loft is great place for the kids to hang out and sleep.
4. YARD. The 1/2 acre yard gives you and your group plenty of room to play and gathering around the large fire pit is the perfect way to end the day.
5. WELL APPOINTED. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything a large group needs. The furniture, bedding and towels are all new.
