Close to 1st Tee & Clubhouse. Heated Pool Luxury Villa-Private Garden-Quiet Area

The Villa is in a desirable location, in a quiet area but close enough to the hub of the Golf Village. Just a 5 minute walk to the 5* Hotel and Golf Driving range, Pro shop, Club House Bar and Restaurants. The Villa is detached and has adaptable and spacious ground floor living accommodation , including a sunroom/garden room with dinning area , modern Kitchen and separate spacious Lounge , which can be used as 4th Bedroom. ( with 2 single sofa beds or a double) The garden room has glass walls to 2 sides which in summer time are removed for a fresh alfresco lounge area. There is a small laundry room off the kitchen and a downstairs cloakroom/shower room. The rear garden has fantastic front line views over the first fairway and Green. If you enjoy watching golf, you won’t get a better view! The pool is a nice size, just over 2 metres deep and with a shallow end entered by steps, which doubles as a great seating area. There are plenty of areas for sunbathing, including a newly built patio area and a first floor evening sun deck . There is enough room in the garden for childrens bat and ball games - on grass! The pool is over 7 metres long , large enough for a game of ball or a few lilos.
Choose to sit in the sun or in a shaded area. The garden has plenty of sunshine for sun worshipers.
On the first floor are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the master bedroom has been recently extended and renovated to a luxury standard with a joining balcony , making it a much larger room, with double aspect views overlooking the pool and garden, as well as golf views. The master bedroom has an-en-suite bathroom. There are 2 balconies one is best for evening sun accessed from the 2nd bedroom and another one with views over the golf course, with clear view of the green. The house has a driveway for off road parking under a pergola.

Great villa and location

We stayed here to relax and enjoy some golf. The villa was a perfect base for us, had everything we needed and great to come back after a long day on the golf course and relax. Hosts were great from start to finish, with really easy check in/out procedure.

Fantastic Autumn Break

We have just returned from a fantastic, peaceful week in this lovely villa, even the weather was beautiful. Check in was really easy with great what's app communication and support. The villa was very well equipped, a real home from home with everything you could possibly want. The beds were comfortable and there are front and back terraces with lovely furniture to chase the sun! Even though we are not golfers we appreciated the great facilities provided by the resort which was immaculate.We found many good restaurants within a ten minute drive had a great day out in Cartagena and some lovely walks besides the Mar Menor in Los Alcazares.and we were lucky to see the Patrulla Aguila practising their routines. Despite it being late October we had a couple of swims in both the pool and the Mar Menor. If you are not golfers I would recommend a car however there are a number of restaurants within walking distance and an excellent supermarket on site. Thank you for letting us stay, we would love to return.

Great Resort but much better villas available

This is a great resort with lots of facilities and restaurants within walking distance. However, we did have some issues. The internet didn’t work the whole time during our stay. We are aware that one day due to the heavy rain this caused a problem across the resort, however this was resolved by the internet provider within a few hours. Despite reporting the issue on a number of occasions nothing was done to resolve the problem. The dishwasher kept getting stuck on the cycle and would last several hours. One night we put it on at 11pm before going to bed and it was still frantically washing at 8am in the morning. We have stayed on the resort many times and we feel there are much better villas to rent.

Lovely villa on a great resort.

We all had a great time at the villa. The pool was the perfect temperature for July and very clean. All the bedrooms were lovely with comfy beds. We loved the indoor/outdoor relaxing area it was great for cooling off in the shade and for eating lunch. We have stayed at many golf resorts and this one didn't disappoint. My only complaint was being charged last minute for an early check in which wasn't mentioned when we requested the possibility of an early check in when we booked the villa. However we had a wonderful time and I would return to this villa again in the future.

Why they chose this property

The MarMenor Golf Resort is known in the area as one of the Best if not The best resort around. It is kept to a prestige standard. There is so much to do within our Village and close by. We are lucky to have a superb Padel Tennis Club on site as well as the Golf facilities. The Padel Tennis Club and Bistro Bar has become very popular and they offer roll up Padel for non members and they also have a gym, where classes are held and usual gym equipment. On the MarMenor site there is Free use of table tennis tables and pétanque bowl lanes as well as a Children's play ground. Some areas around the resort have fitness equipment for anyone to use. It is a 10 min drive to the beach where further water sports facilities are available. Literally on our doorstep are many restaurants and bars which you can walk to from the Villa. The Hotel is a few minutes walk where they have the Golf Spike Bar and another Bar Called the Clover- both offer good food. The Hotel has a number of restaurants and a further 10 min walk there are many more restaurants and bars, including takeaways, sports bars, and some good quality restaurants , all located by the entrance to the resort. There is an on site Supermarket which is open until 9pm everyday. There are a view other shops just outside the resort including bike and scooter hire. Many people who visit for Holidays here return year after year !

What makes this property unique

The views we have are probably the best you can get for the golf. We have uninterrupted views down the fairway. We can see the first Tee , and clearly the second shot into the green. Our Villa is in a quiet area , it is very peaceful. Most neighbours only visit now and then as they are holiday homes. This means most of the time we don’t have neighbours at all and we aren’t over looked. Having done a fair amount of improvements to the Villa it is of a luxury standard to include a newly renovated and extended Master bedroom.
