Perfect property and location. It has everything we could ever want or need. Multiple stays now and will continue to stay each year. A wee piece of paradise
This is the second time that we have stayed in this house and it hasn't disappointed on either visit! The proximity to the sea was the initial attraction but the field for the dogs sold it for us! The interior finishing was mostly OK and the layout is perfect for families as you can all be together or, if required, its easy to get a bit of privacy Our family (all adults) loved it - as did the dog!

Thanks for the great review. Hopefully welcome you back for a third visit in the near future.
This is by far the best holiday home we have ever rented and we would be happy to come back time after time. The quality of furniture and kitchen and bathroom fittings are excellent, and we spent many a happy night in the games room playing pool!! A special shout out to Dan who valiantly attempted to resolve a problem with EV charger but unfortunately it couldn’t be fixed during our stay. As you can guess from what I’ve already said we would happily recommend Portree to anyone looking to stay at a fantastic house in a beautiful setting overlooking the Irish Sea.

Thanks for the wonderful review, sorry we couldn't solve the issues with the EV charger but hopefully didn't effect your stay too much.
Lovely, warm, cosy & welcoming house. Many different areas for a large group, we all enjoyed the games room, dogs loved the outside area. Good location to visit all the attractions of Northern Ireland. Thank you for a great stay.
We had a fabulous stay. The location is unbeatable - right on the stunning coast with breathtaking views, yet still within reach of the Belfast area. We especially loved the hot tub, game room & yurt. The property is well maintained, tastefully decorated & clean.

Thanks for the wonderful review. Glad you enjoyed everything the property had to offer.
Absolutely, positively the most dreamiest property for our sweet family of five. A huge lawn lent way to a baseball game and the ocean was a beautiful way to wake up every morning. A short drive to Belfast or higher up the coast made it a perfect spot to unwind

We live locally and love the Peak District and surrounding areas. We enjoy helping guests make the most of their time here, whether that is recommending great walks, places to eat or family friendly days out. Our focus is on creating relaxed, comfortable stays where guests feel well looked after, without anything feeling over managed or impersonal.
We take pride in offering well maintained homes, clear communication and a friendly, responsive approach from booking through to check out.
Why they chose this property
We chose this area after stumbling across the property while travelling the Causeway Coastal Route as tourists ourselves. We instantly fell in love with the setting, the sea views and the feeling of being right on the coast. When we discovered the property was for sale, it felt like one of those moments that was meant to be, and the rest is history.
After buying the house, we undertook a full renovation to create a comfortable and welcoming place that makes the most of its incredible location. We spend a lot of time at the property ourselves and know it inside out. We also have a local team on hand to help with any guest requests or assistance during your stay. What we enjoy most is how special the area feels every time we return, with dramatic coastal scenery, changing light and a real sense of escape that makes it easy to relax and enjoy being by the sea.
What makes this property unique
What makes this property unique is its seafront setting combined with the care and attention that has gone into creating it. We discovered the house while travelling the Causeway Coastal Route and later carried out a full renovation to make the most of its incredible position by the sea.
The house offers uninterrupted sea views and a constantly changing outlook. Seals, dolphins and even whales are regularly seen offshore, along with a wide variety of bird life. Fishing trawlers, cruise ships and occasional military vessels passing by all add to the character and charm of the location, making every day feel different. We spend a lot of time at the property ourselves and have a local team on hand for any guest requests or assistance, helping to ensure every stay feels well looked after.
Rather than feeling like a standard holiday let, it feels like a well loved coastal home, offering space, comfort and a genuinely special setting that guests tend to remember long after they leave.
