Cottages écossais tranquilles et bain à remous de luxe

Elaine & Johns Cottages sont un luxe cinq étoiles avec un intérieur et un confort modernes. Chouchoutez-vous avec beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir tout en restant dans un véritable chez-soi. Le village de Plains, Airdrie sur l'A89. Situé au cœur du centre de l'Écosse à mi-chemin entre Glasgow et Édimbourg, notre emplacement central est une base idéale pour les deux villes. Détendez-vous dans notre chalet écossais traditionnel qui date de 1900, un ancien chalet de mineurs qui a été rénové tout en conservant des caractéristiques d'époque.

L'espace
Les clients auront un accès complet et sans restriction à l'ensemble du chalet pendant leur séjour. Il y a aussi un grand jardin arrière clos que les clients peuvent utiliser. Le chalet est lumineux et aéré et le salon a un feu de charbon avec des chaises inclinables. Ce n'est pas une maison de fête.

Le chalet qui est de niveau à part d'une étape a un accès facile. Parking privé pour les voitures au chalet.

Autres choses à noter
Le chalet est situé dans un excellent emplacement. À quelques minutes du supermarché local avec d'autres magasins, bars et restaurants. Le chalet est à quelques minutes de toutes les principales liaisons autoroutières. Le parc d'activités d'Euro Central et de Strathclyde est à une courte distance en voiture. Il y a de nombreux parcs et attractions à proximité pour les clients. Il y a une piste cyclable d'Airdrie à Bathgate. Le parcours de golf de Eastermoffat est à votre porte.

La maison est à un peu plus d'un mile de la gare de Drumgelloch, qui offre des liaisons directes vers Édimbourg et Glasgow. La gare est rapidement accessible en voiture, 4 £ en taxi ou 20 minutes à pied. Les trains circulent toutes les 20 minutes environ et cela prend 40 minutes pour Edimbourg et 30 minutes pour Glasgow. Les trains pour Édimbourg coûtent 18 £ aller-retour ou 13 £ hors pointe. Les trains pour Glasgow coûtent 7 £ aller-retour ou 5 £ hors pointe. L'autoroute M8, à seulement 10 minutes, offre des liaisons directes vers Édimbourg et Glasgow.

Le chalet est très central avec un accès facile à Stirling, Livingston, Perth, Loch Lomond, Trossachs et la vallée de la Clyde.

Very Comfortable Cottage

We spent 3 nights at this cosy cottage over New Year. Elaine was a fantastic host, very friendly and happy to help with anything. The cottage was very clean and cosy with everything we needed. The hot tub was a bonus which we very much enjoyed.

Beautiful cottage

We had such a wonderful short break. The cottage was spotless, very spacious (both inside and out), and had everything we needed. Some lovely, thoughtful touches. Very comfy beds. Plenty of seating space in the living room. Our little dog loved the huge garden (which is completely secure) to do zoomies in, and we loved the hot tub! Elaine and her family were fantastic, so lovely and helpful, and answered our queries really quickly. I would highly recommend this lovely home! Thank you Elaine and family Xx

Great quiet place

Had a wonderful stay at Elaine's super clean cottage. Elaine is lovely, such a kind host. The place was ideal for myself and my daughter, great location, quiet and peaceful, with parking right outside. The king bed in the master bedroom was perfect and the single bed in the other bedroom was also comfortable. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, which had great water pressure and plentiful hot water. Everything we needed to make a meal was included in the kitchen, plenty of cupboard space, microwave, hob, oven, fridge freezer, cafetiere as well as a washer, so you can pack light. Elaine left biscuits, tea, coffee and porridge for us, which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was a real treat, nice to relax in, despite the unseasonably cold and wet August weather, (tip-bring flip flops and a dressing gown). We were in town for a skating event at the local rink, so we didn't have the chance to sight-see, but the cottage is ideally placed for trips to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. We can however, recommend "The Mint" in Coatbridge, great restaurant, highly recommend a meal here. The cottage is such a lovely place, we hope to return next year. Thank you Elaine

The cottage was very clean & beautifully set out. The host was available to guide us to the property, we missed the property as it was set back off the road, Elaine was fab as she came to guide us in. It was a lovely touch as she showed us around the cottage.The garden was found to be very acceptable to the two Scooties who assed the boundary fence with the intention of finding escape holes. They were dismayed to find the garden perfectly secure & safe. The garden is wonderful for dogs. The hot tub was very welcome & much enjoyed after a long day sight seeing. The area the cottage is in was very quiet & peaceful, the bed was wonderful & comfy, as was the cottage, I found everything very homely & welcoming. A wonderful place to enjoy & unwind. The cottage is set in easy reach of Glasgow & Edinburgh. I wished we were staying longer as there was so many places to visit & things to see. I would definately return to Elaine's cottage & definately recommend it to other people.

Family get away

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Elaine was a wonderful Host, met us when we arrived showed us how things worked. Enjoyed the hot tub. Close to shops and transit. Comfortable cottage lots of space, lots of windows to let the light in. Comfortable beds.

Pure Scottish

We found Elaine’s property to be just right for our family of four. We used it as a home base to get out and around the area: Hamilton, Falkirk, Ayrshire… the home was comfortable with everything we needed for cooking in and living comfortably. The decor is pure Scotland and we particularly liked the sun room and back garden for sitting and visiting. Happy to highly recommend the place!

Fabulous

Arrived at the property for a short break with my two children. Absolutely amazing service from the hostess who even came to the property to assist with the hot tub and gave us some fabulous places to visit. The property was lovely, clean, tidy and perfect for us. We were so sad to leave. Will deffo be returning !!!!!

Absolute gem.

Fabulous cottage - immaculate and very well equipped. Owner was lovely - very friendly and welcoming (even turned back after passing us on the road to show us around when we arrived!) Lovely location for getting out and about during the week and the hit tub was very amazing after some log walks! Highly recommended, definitely one to return to.

Excellent cottage for get aways.

We booked the cottage as a get away for a few days. The booking process was easy and Elaine was very quick to reply to any quereys we had. The cottage is wonderful with loads of space in the 2 bedrooms and massive living/dining room. To top it off the hot tub outside is fantastic. Stopped for a few days but could have stopped longer as its hone from home. Simon

Lovely short stay

The property was very clean and really well presented. Elaine was a great host - she came to greet us when we had arrived and made sure we knew how to work the hot tub and had information/recommendations on the local area. Overall a great stay, we feel very rested afterwards and the hot tub was an added bonus.

Great Weekend

A fab place for a relaxing weekend with friends. Elaine came to show us round and gave us info of a walk and takeaways. Hot tub was amazing and the Lilly Loch definitely worth a visit for a walk. Would definitely come back here for another weekend away.

Everything we were after and more

Nice location, amazing property, cottage was well presented and clean, hot tub amazing, cant fault this place one bit. owner came by shortly after we checked in to make sure everything was what we needed, 10/10 for that. will definetely be back again in the future
