Villa Melia is situated in the middle of the famous Athenian Riviera, and more specifically in Lagonisi, one of the more reputable parts of the Athenian coastline. Lagonisi is ideally located half way between two of the most famous archaeological sites of Attika i.e. 34kms south to the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion and 28kms north to Parthenon in the center of Athens.Villa Melia is located in a very quiet place 3 km away from the beach, 20 min. drive from Athens airport and 40min. from the center of Athens and the Acropolis. The nearest beautiful sandy beach with beach bar, sunbeds and umbrellas Heaven Bar is 3 km away from the house at the luxury hotel LAGONISSI RESORT. Also at a distance of 5-10 minutes. drive from the house you can visit a lot of other amazing sandy beaches of Saron Gulf such as BALLI, XRISI AKTI, SARONIDA BEACH, MAVRO LITHARI, AG. NIKOLAOS, ANAVISSOS BEACH.
For your shopping 800m. from home there is a bakery where you find milk and daily products, bread and fresh buns. Several large supermarkets are located in the center of Lagonisi, the nearest one is 1.0 km away from the house.
For an evening walk, we recommend the center and the seaside promenade of Lagonisi with many cafes and restaurants, as well as famous restaurants with traditional sheep-side ribs in the mountain village of Kalivia 1,5 km. from the house. Also in Kalivia you can find several supermarkets.To stay in our villa you will need a car.
