Very nice stay

The house is located in a beautiful small town in the historical center and very clean and big. It's easy to find a parking spot, bc the owner gives you a parking permit for the historical center. The owner is very nice and helps you immediately via Whatsapp. I will come back for sure.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Mario’s conveniently located apartment in the heart of Bagnoregio. The bed was comfortable; the plentiful amenities included breakfast and wonderful honey. We walked to the supermarket in 10 minutes, excellent restaurants are nearby, and the historic Civita di Bagnoregio was less than a half-hour walk. Mario responded quickly when we had questions, his messages always warm and welcoming. When we needed a replacement kettle to heat water, he sent his helpful son Carlo, whose English is perfect. The upstairs has two bedrooms, only one of which we used, and we appreciated the air conditioner unit there. (At the hottest time during our August stay, we needed to empty water from the unit twice each night—which we got used to.) Downstairs in the kitchen/living area, a floor fan kept us comfortable during the heat wave at the start of our visit, as outside temps hit 98 F (36 C). Everything was great for us. The only cautionary note is about the stairs, if you have any problem climbing. From the street to the living area is one set of stairs; from there to the bedrooms is a set of stone steps, steeper and making a 90 degree turn partway up. There is a helpful sturdy railing to hold. We got used to them, and it’s a small drawback to what was a perfect place for us during our visit to this wonderful part of Italy. Bagnoregio is close to many historic sites and museums, and beautiful Lake Bolsena, a great place to swim. Thank you, Mario!

Ottima location e host impeccabile

L'appartamento è nel centro storico di Bagnoregio. Civita è raggiungibile anche a piedi in 20-30 minuti, essendo a circa 1.5 km. Il parcheggio (incluso) a pochi minuti a piedi. La location è molto caratteristica, le scale sono un po' ripide, essendo un vecchio appartamento, ma anche quello contribuisce a renderlo affascinante. Siamo stati molto bene, Mario è stato un host molto accogliente e disponibile. Ci ha dato molte informazioni accurate su come muoverci in zona. Siamo rimasti completamente soddisfatti.
