Lagwn Glas, una idílica casa de vacaciones familiar

Lagwn Glas, o Blue Lagoon, como está en inglés, es un gran lugar para unas vacaciones relajantes en Rhosneigr. Escondida, esta tranquila casa de vacaciones es ideal para un pequeño descanso y descanso, pero no muy lejos de la playa y de los servicios locales.

La brillante cocina abierta viene con todo lo que necesita para crear comidas caseras, preparar comidas campestres para la playa o simplemente para disfrutar de una buena comida para llevar. Las grandes puertas del patio son ideales para las tardes más cálidas y para traer el exterior. El jardín del patio es una gran trampa para el sol y ofrece una gran privacidad para los días en que desea escapar y disfrutar del calor, ¡siempre se recomienda una cerveza fría o Pimms!
El salón ofrece otro fantástico espacio relajante con capacidad para cuatro, ideal para noches de cine en el clima más frío.

Arriba tiene dos habitaciones espaciosas; una habitación doble y otra habitación con tres camas individuales, las cuales le dan mucho espacio para extenderse. La propiedad tiene dos baños; un cuarto de baño de tamaño familiar arriba con una ducha sobre la bañera, inodoro y lavabo, el otro se encuentra abajo y es un cuarto húmedo, ideal para lavar los dedos de arena y el cabello salado.

Excellent position

We had a great stay at Lagwn Glas we spent four weeks there and enjoyed the open plan living and the very large bedrooms, safe private parking and just a 2 minute stroll to the beach, we both really enjoyed our stay as well as are dog Bella!

Lovely stay in a wonderful location

The property was warm and light with everything we could have asked for. The bed was really comfortable after a long day's walking. The only downside was the weather which was overcast for the majority of our stay, but when the sun came out we made use of the outdoor decked area. Would highly recommend!

Great week in Rhosneigr

This place was perfect for a week in Rhosneigr - right in the middle of the village within walking distance of all shops and bars/restaurants, and also 3 minutes walk to the beach. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 3 and our dog with a great open plan downstairs and two big bedrooms upstairs. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Spacious cottage, we had a lovely stay.

The cottage is spacious and quiet. The approach lane is very narrow with a difficult turn into the property, but parking space is ample. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at Lagwn Glas several times before. Our favourite holiday destination. As per the previous comments, the house is always spotless, warm and roomy. Everything you would need is provided, hopefully will stay again in the not too distant future. Highly recommended.

Perfect location

The property is perfectly located; close to the beach and town centre. The house was bigger than expected - the photos didn't do it justice. Although perfectly comfortable, there were some maintenance elements that need attention: floor in the downstairs shower needs the seal repairing there weren't any toilet roll holders in either bathrooms the kitchen drawers and dishwasher door didn't operate smoothly It would have been a nice touch to have a complimentary welcome pack with at least a pint of milk.

We have been informed by the owner of several things which may help future guests - there are toilet rolls holders in both bathrooms and they do provide a pint of milk, some lovely Aberffraw biscuits, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and clothes washing tablets. Another great stay

We enjoyed another great stay at this property. The location is excellent with it being central but tucked down a quiet & private lane, very comfortable bed, secure dog friendly garden & even sea views from the upstairs bedroom! It’s great that the property accommodates short stays too. I’m sure we will be back again!

Had a glorious week in September, have stayed at Lagwn Glas several times before, and once again didn't disappoint. Everything you could need is provided and the house is roomy, warm and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more. No hesitation to recommend and will hopefully return for another visit before too long.

Beautiful modern detached home. Spacious well equipped and spotlessly clean. Excellent enclosed garden for our dog. It’s situated in a quiet location five minutes from the beach. Would highly recommend.

Perfect accommodation

Peaceful, private and spacious place to stay in the centre of Rhosneigr. We had a perfect break away with friends in the delightful atmosphere of Lagwn Glas. However, it would also have been a great place to stay with family, including grandchildren, with a safe outdoor space for them too. The owners kindly accommodated our precious elderly dog and we had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you to all.

Llagwn Glas

A wonderfully spacious two bedroom house, with enormous bedrooms. Very nicely kitted out with an abundance of chinaware etc. Also a lovely sun trap courtyard garden and fully fenced for the dog. We had a lovely week.

Very Spacious house

We had a great holiday at Lagwn Glas and Rhosneigr. We were very surprised how spacious the property was and it was in a very central location in Rhosneigr. The house had everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The weather was mixed but this didn't stop our enjoyment, having our dog with us we had several walks at various locations around the island. Great choice of bars, restaurant and cafes in Rhosneigr.

Rhoseneigr short break

Entrance to the property is quite tight but the location is perfect with Rhoseneigr town and beach literally 5 minutes walk away. Property exceptionally clean and has everything needed for a super relaxing break. If you are taking a dog the property is very dog friendly and has a gated front drive and a secure patio area. RAF Valley is very close and watching the jets taking off is very impressive. However, they are very very noisy so please be aware if you have a nervous dog or small children. The location is perfect for travel around the island with South Stack, Benllech, Red Wharf Bay and Rhoscolyn beach firm favourites. Overall a fabulous property with an ideal location

Perfect holiday accommodation

Booked for 1 week, ended up staying for 2 weeks. Perfect location up a unmarked road. Perfectly quite. 2 mins from rhosneigr centre, 5 mins walk or so to beach. Private parking. Lovely secluded garden. Safe for children & pets. Owners live next door. Diane isn't intrusive. The bungalow has everything you could need. Very spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms are large and the mattress is probably the best we've ever slept on including our own at home. Lovely views from bedroom of sea. Toilets up and downstairs. This holiday let is very well priced and for the cost you couldn't get better. Not a single complaint to be put.

Christmas and new year at lagwn glas

We had a lovely stay at Lagwn Glas, however the property was missing a few essential kitchen items (tongs and a fish slice). The property was cosy, clean and in a perfect location. We were disappointed not to receive a welcome package as we know of other properties on the area who do provide this, especially over Christmas and we' were informed that this is the responsibility of the property owner. Still we had a lovely break in one of our favourite places.

Great location very comfortable and

My wife and I stayed here with our dog Otis as a last minute week away. The location was easy to find and it was just a short walk across the road onto the wide sandy beach so perfect for seaside walks. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need and the lounge area was nice and comfy. Downstairs has a nice open plan feel to it. There is a small outside area and it was perfect for the dog and to pick up after him. The property is overlooked by other properties but this didnt give us any cause for concern. The bedroom was nicely themed and king-size bed was very comfortable. Rhosneigr, is totally geared up for dogs which is really good. We ate out at the Oystercatcher twice which was our favourite. Overall it was nice and quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Anglesey. Please note that the general area is close to the RAF base so you will hear the jets going overhead.

Disappointing total lack of appliance information

We were disappointed that the heating was not on when we arrived, as indicated in Agency information. It never worked in the two bedrooms. There was a total lack of cottage appliance information which led to issues with heating, hot water and washing machine on/off switch. The owner visited on our third day and showed us the Alexa, unknown to us as we do not subscribe. All issues could be addressed with an Information Pack.

We're sorry to hear that you were without heating upon arrival, however we do not leave on if we are not made aware of your arrival time; that would be wasteful. We did contact the owner after you called the office and we're assured they would attend the property; they did that day. We do wish that you would have called us again on Saturday morning if you were still having an issue. All appliance information is contained within the digital welcome magazine you were sent; I have confirmed delivery and receipt of that. Not a very helpful or honest review.

It’s all in the detail

When we arrived, we were just delighted - we have explored UK over last 3yrs with our dog & have stayed in some quite awful holiday homes that were nowhere near “as advertised” This one definitely was & more. The house is in a great location up a quiet private lane. The house is bright, spacious, airy, CLEAN, superbly kitted out, well furnished, comfortable, quirky furnishings, homely furnishings, functional, with great garden space. (sun all day until 6pm’ish) Utility room is a big advantage as we went swimming most days & were able to wash clothes & hang out to dry. In particular, the kitchen is so well stocked with crockery, cutlery, glasses, cups etc - HUGE plus The TV & WiFi facilities excellent The curtains & blinds are all fabulous & very much to my taste. Pricing for 10 days was incredibly reasonable. Our first trip to Anglesey & we will most definitely return as we had such a great trip exploring the Island - the house really felt like a warm welcoming space that was loved. It’s all the small touches that make this house feel like a seaside house, whilst also feeling like a very happy cared for functioning house. THANK YOU
