It's celebrated as the "Capital of Wine" in the Azores and boasts the highest mountain in Portugal, both above and below sea level. Moreover, it's the "Capital of Whale Watching," a testament to its rich marine life. Pico's inclusion in the "triangle" cluster, along with São Jorge and Faial, allows you to effortlessly explore three distinct paradises. Pico Island is also renowned for its UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the stunning vineyards known as "Pico's Wine Culture." With a population of just 15,000, Pico Island is a true haven in the North Atlantic, preserving its natural beauty and cultural heritage.
