Casa Melograno is a carefully restored rustic stone house.
To get to the house there is a narrow uphill road of about 200 meters, very beautiful and panoramic, not suitable for low-profile cars, where the first 5 meters are for expert drivers.
The exclusive swimming pool has a terrace and wooden pergola, deck chairs and umbrellas.
In the garden area adjacent to the kitchen there is a nice stone barbecue complete with table and chairs ...

Absolutely beautiful stay here - the view from the pool and the absolute privacy and peace was just amazing. Leaving feeling so relaxed and already missing it.

Wonderful Cottage

We had a very pleasant stay. The house is quite remote and Luca and Lisa are wonderful hosts. The driveway is indeed very steep and won’t be manageable with a lowered car. The garden is fenced which was perfect as we travelled with our dog. The pool is very secluded and the surroundings so calm that we could relax perfectly.

A lovely few days

We had a lovely time. The house has everything you need. The location is quiet and peaceful. The vegetation that surrounds it is lovely. The pool is great we enjoyed being able to relax by the pool. Luca and Lisa were very good at providing updates and being quick to reply to our queries. Thank you

Mountain View’s and memories to be made.

Charming, captivating, relaxing, speechless. It’s hard to pick the right adjective to describe this cottage chalet getaway. It’s a quiet escape from the craziness of Tuscany but the ride is worth the reward. Nestled into the mountain op in an olive grove, you have everything you need, including your own pool and sunsets over the alpines across the valley. Even the uphill climb from the road is an adventure! Don’t forget to honk!

Exceptional cottage in a idyllic location

Melograno Cottage provided our family of 4 from California a private mountainside retreat for a week in late June. An efficient 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom retreat with private pool and epic views and sunsets within a 3 minute walk to an ancient hilltop village with a quality restaurant and friendly locals. We woke daily to a cacophony of bird song; walks at night provided front row seats to fireflies and small families of foxes, and days were spent in the hot Tuscan sun by the pool. An epic and memorable experience with a exceptionally responsive and friendly host. 10/10 !

Lovely stay in peaceful Benabbio

The property is a lovely old stone cottage and really is tucked away, very private & with lots of outside space. It has a well equipped kitchen & a welcome coffee machine, which you can buy additional pods for when visiting Lucca. The pool and parking areas are accessed via a number of steps so would recommend this to people who do not have mobility issues. The driveway is fine, you just have to take your time the first couple of meters where the driveway meets the roadway. Our driveway at home is much worse!! Communication with the owner was very good & he provided helpful directions to find the property & there was a bottle of wine awaiting us. Tip - take some provisions with you for your first meal/ few hours as it is a trek to the little supermarket in Bagni di Lucca. The pizzeria in Benabbio is well worth a visit, open for good from 7pm. The interior has been decorated since the photos you will find online & it’s really pleasant. Huge range of pizzas, primi & secondi dishes. Excellent quality & so reasonably priced. The house wine is a Sangiovese & is really good. I would recommend this property & the area.

Hallo,für alle die Privatsphäre und Ruhe suchen, hier seid Ihr definitiv richtig. Es ist weit und breit einfach nichts anderes. Die Gastgeber waren nett und hilfsbereit. Wenn es was zum kritisieren gibt, dann das einfach viel zu wenig Geschirr (Gläser) vorhanden waren.

Fantastisch avontuur keer op keer….

Als je net als wij niet houdt van drukte en veel mensen om je heen is dit een perfect plekje. Je hebt wijd en zijd geen buren. Luca, de eigenaar, appt je netjes als hij iets op het perceel zou moeten doen. Bij ons was dat een keertje het zwembad schoonmaken. Niet meer. Het weggetje omhoog en omlaag is keer op keer een avontuur! Let daar wel op als je dit huisje boekt. Een bekraste spiegel en een afgeschraapte onderkant van mijn auto is het resultaat. Dat was het ons wel waard maar het is zoals het is. Deze weg is niet geschikt voor onervaren chauffeurs of mensen die angstig zijn aangelegd. Als er al een minpuntje aan dit huisje is dan is het de weg ernaar toe. Dat zou in onze ogen iets beter gemaakt kunnen worden. Maar goed…..als je eenmaal weet hoe je het moet rijden gaat het wel…. Verder een super aanrader….basic….schoon….en vooral ver weg van alle drukte!

Auszeit in wunderschöner Landschaft

Wenn die etwas abenteuerliche Zufahrt geschafft ist, steht der Erholung in komplett ungestörter Umgebug nichts mehr im Wege. Umgeben von Olivenbäumen und der beeindruckenden Bergwelt der Apuanischen Alpen lässt es sich perfekt entspannen. Ein Sprung in den sauberen Pool mit großartiger Aussicht, Grillen in der rustikalen Außenküche oder ein Ausflug nach Lucca, Pisa, Carrara oder ans Meer - die Casa Melograno lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Danke an Luca und seine Frau, die uns hervorragende Gastgeber waren.

Io chiamerei così casa melograno.... Posto da favola! Se cerchi tranquillità fuori e dentro di te, qui c'è. Posto vera curato, pulizia impeccabile. Dotato di una piscina dal panorama mozzafiato. Lisa e Luca, i proprietari, gentili e pronti per ogni esigenza e di una discrezione unica. Perché lo consiglio? Perché se ci vai non vorresti più venir via,. Un oasi nel verde...deliziosa

Decisamente un bellissimo contesto ottima vista e bordo piscina da puro relax .Consigliato per chi vuole staccare la frenesia quotidiana e godersi una casa circondata dalla natura e dal silenzio .Molto curati i dettagli...un letto molto comodo e accogliente sicuramente un posto dove tornare. E' stata un'esperienza superiore alle aspettative...le foto rendono ma vivere la struttura, l'ambiente in prima persona fa la differenza. Il solo far colazione o mangiare sotto il porticato, o leggere un libro a bordo piscina, è stato veramente unico, non solo per le comodità avute ma soprattutto per la spettacolare visione che ti si apriva sulla vallata incontaminata dove la natura fa da padrona….noi che veniamo dalla bassa parmense gli ulivi circostanti hanno fatto si che richiamasse la tipica cartolina paesaggistica toscana. Ultimi ma non meno importanti i ringraziamenti al padrone di casa, Luca, che con la sua gentilezza e disponibilità, rispondendo e consigliando ci ha veramente coccolato...Grazie non mancheremo di farti pubblicità ed alla prossima!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastica vacanza in un piccolo paradiso...

Abbiamo passato 3 notti in questa bellissima casa rustica molto accogliente ed intimo. È l'ideale per chi, come noi, è alla ricerca della tranquillità e del riposo. Il panorama è bellissimo, la casa è un vero nido d'amore ed il giardino con la piscina sembrano usciti da una favola.... Un'esperienza da ripetere sicuramente! E poi Luca e Lisa sono delle persone disponibilissime e premurose (non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla). Ci torneremo presto. Un bacione forte forte

Se volete sognare...è il posto ideale!!!

Mai come questa volta le cinque stelle sono meritate. Non solo per la piacevole e curata location ma anche per la calorosa accoglienza dei proprietari Luca e Lisa. Posto che offre la possibilità di vivere la Toscana al meglio dal punto di vista enogastronomico.Lo consigliamo a coppie ma anche a famiglie con bambini. Noi ritorneremo in estate per poter godere della splendida piscina.

Luogo ideale per gite di un giorno in tutta la Toscana. Delizioso rustico immerso nel verde. Luca e Lisa ci hanno accolto con un bel sorriso e ci hanno fatto sentire subito a casa, e ci sono stati vicino supportando ogni nostra esigenza...
