This 8 year-old, red-brick, early-American style home is located in the heart of Pennsylvania. Surrounded by wooded trails, and offering plenty of space indoors and out, this place is a perfect paradise for any get-away or retreat. Minutes from historic Williamsport, it boasts quick access to Millionaires row, downtown shopping, The International Little League Ballpark and Museum, and the stunning CAC (which often hosts mid-week Broadway shows for less). There are plenty of the most beautiful biking and hiking trails (including the paved path along the Susquehanna River) to enjoy and lots of hunting and fishing available nearby. If one wants to venture an hour or two from the home one finds World's End state park, Rickett's Glen, Eagle's Mere, Bald Eagle state park, Pine Creek, State College, Hershey, historic Harrisburg, Lancaster or "Amish Country", outlet shopping, skiing, and one of the world's best indoor water park in the Poconos. If one wants to venture 3 hours, a day trip to NYC, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Gettysburg, or Palmyra, NY is doable.
The home itself welcomes cozy couples or large groups with an inviting bedroom and bath on the main floor and plenty of bedrooms to be filled beyond that (7 more upstairs, 1 more down). The gathering areas are great making hosting large groups no problem whatsoever. Enough bedding all around with a king size bed upstairs in the master bedroom, 1 queen bed in the bedroom on the main floor, 4 of the other bedrooms hold full-size beds and 2 bedrooms have twin beds along with twin trundles in them. There are also 2 cribs that convert to toddler beds if needed. Huge playroom with comfy carpet on the top floor.
The kitchen is warm and beautiful with granite countertops and custom-made cabinetry. Plenty of counter space for creating or serving food. The main flooring is distressed walnut. The bedrooms have cozy carpet. The bathrooms are spacious and clean also with tile flooring & granite countertops throughout the home. A washer/dryer is available.
The basement is unfinished except one beautiful room and bath (with heated flooring!). It's equipped with rolling/riding toys and a stage for children but the best part of the basement is that it houses a full-size indoor slide!
Despite all it's inviting features, the very best parts of the home may be the meandering stone patio, the delightful decks out back, and the beautiful windows that captivate visitors with breathtaking wooded views! (My very favorite part of visiting here is enjoying sunrise each morning in the master bedroom, on the decks, or kitchen). Take a morning walk on the historic logging trail that begins on the property or sit out on the lawn, or take an evening stroll down the street, in front to enjoy a beautiful vista and watch sunset!
Private. Plenty of space. Perfect.
For an outdated but beautiful quality video tour google search: "the heritage tour ronin first flight". Patio has been finished since then.
