Southerness vacation rentals

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views. The cottage was very clean, well equipped and added bonus of a fantastic welcome pack. It was great to walk on the beach and look across the Solway Firth. Southerness has a few amenities such as a pub, coffee shop and small store. Contact with the owner was great. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Lovely accommodation in a peaceful setting. If you are looking for a quiet and stress free getaway look no further! Tastefully decorated and furnished, comfy beds, couches and well equipped kitchen. To get the full benefit of exploring the area, read the information booklet and leaflets/guides available in the living room. Would like to visit again in the future.

Lovely, comfortable little cottage for 2 of us and our Labrador. Handy for the Jubilee Path through the woods to Kippford, and just a short stroll to the beautiful beach. The cottage is well equipped with good pans and a decent cooker. Some kitchen scales would have been handy but we managed ok without. We very much enjoyed exploring the area, which was new for us, and I am sure we will return.

Great accomodation, for 3 generations plus 2 dogs. Absolutely spotless, with clean and comfy beds for all 8 of us. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook all meals. Great, enormous garden for the dogs to run around. The hot tub was a much loved addition, and helped make our 70th birthday celebration a great success. Also nice to know that the owner was near at hand if we had any problems, although we had none.

A very comfortable, cozy very well equipped cottage in a great location looking out over the water and lighthouse. Easy walks from the cottage and great location to explore further afield. Thoroughly recommend it 🤗

Really enjoyed our stay in a very clean and comfortable bungalow.The beach and lighthouse are just a couple of minutes walk away and The Barnacle Geese at RSPB Mersehead, the focus of our stay, is less than ten minutes drive. Many thanks, Keith and Charmain.

Good break, comfy and very clean. No Wi-Fi which was strange getting used to.
