Recently restored stone and brick barn. With the traditional ventilation created with antique terracotta panels. There are two airy spacious double bedded rooms, two bathrooms and a lounge as well as outdoor dining. All modern conveniences including central heating, wireless internet, streaming entertainment services, outdoor grill and dining, free on site parking

10 minutes drive from the beach. 40 min from Pisa or the Cinque Terre, 1hr 20 min from Firenze. Ideal for a romantic getaway or for a small family holiday. only 10 minutes from the incredible Adventure Park Fosdinovo.
The property is in restored farm complex of three buildings built around a brick courtyard. The garden is 2000sqm and has private parking. The location is within walking distance for grocery shopping and there are also pizzerias and restaurants nearby. When not relaxing in the spacious garden; the property is only a few hundred metres from the main Carrara-Sarzana road which means that getting around is both simple and quick.

A Gorgeous & Charming Home Away from Home

What a great decision it was to spend our Easter break in this fantastically located and beautiful home. Every detail was lovingly thought out to make visitors feel cozy and pampered. The huge yard was perfect for our children to run around and explore, complete with a tree house, hammock and swing. The owners (and their dog) were welcoming, friendly, flexible and generous with their advice, their provisions, and their delicious homemade bread! After easy day trips to local castles, ancient hill towns, Pisa, Lucca, Portovenere or the towns of Cinque Terre, it was so relaxing to come "home" and let the children run around outside while we turned on some opera music, cooked up fresh pasta and opened a bottle of local wine. We will DEFINITELY recommend this "barn" to all of our friends and hopefully return soon ourselves.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich durch Cica und James begrüßt. Das Ferienhaus war wie beschrieben und sehr gepflegt und hochwertig ausgestattet. Auf Anfrage wurden sogar zusätzliche Dinge, wie extra Hocker und Mückenspray zur Verfügung gestellt. Extra Tipps zum Essen, Ausflüge, Kulturtipps haben wir gern bekommen und gleich umgesetzt. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral zwischen Ligurien und der Toskana. Das Meer (Baden) sind nur 8 Autominuten entfernt. Lebensmittelläden und sonstige Geschäfte liegen in kurzer Entfernung. Trotz nächtlicher Temperaturen von 26 Grad war es in der Nacht sehr angenehm. Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet. Top Unterkunft - wir kommen gern mal wieder!

Tolles Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön. Ideal für eine Familie mit Kindern, da es 2 Bäder und 2 Schlafzimmer hat. Das Grundstück ist sehr großzügig und bietet viel Raum zum Spielen. Durch den üppigen Baumbestand ist auch viel Schatten vorhanden. Die Eigentümer sind sehr gastfreundlich und haben immer Tipps für Restaurants, Aktivitäten und Freizeitgestaltung parat. Zum Strand braucht man mit dem Auto 10 Minuten. Ich muss leider einen Punkt bei der Lage abziehen, da es nachts dort sehr laut ist. Hauptsächlich wegen bekloppten Motorradfahrern, die der Meinung sind nachts mit ihren lauten Maschinen und Vollgas durch die Straßen zu fahren. Alles in allem war es aber ein schöner Urlaub und ich würde dort auch jeder Zeit wieder hin fahren.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit! Das Haus ist traumhaft schön und lässt es an nichts fehlen. Die Lage ist sowohl für Ausflüge als auch einen Besuch am Strand bestens. Die Vermieterin wohnt selbst mit auf dem Grundstück und erfüllt gern alle ihr möglichen Wünsche... insgesamt: eine unvergessliche Woche, wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Wunderschönes Haus in super Lage

Das Ferienhaus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Alles war sehr sauber. Chicca und James haben uns viele Tips zu Ausflugszielen gegeben. Cinque Terre und Pisa sind gut mit dem Zug von Sarzana aus zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten am Strand. Auch der Supermarkt und eine kleine Pizzeria sind gleich um die Ecke. Wir haben die 2 Wochen sehr genossen!

Tolle Unterkunft 100% empfehlenswert!!

Un bel cottage immerso nel verde

Abbiamo soggiornato per il ponte del primo maggio: la casa è veramente graziosa e curata, il giardino tenuto in modo incantevole, con tanto di casetta sull’albero per i bambini. L’immobile è ubicato in una posizione strategica per visitare Sarzana, Lerici, Pisa...I proprietari abitano a poca distanza e sono disponibili per ogni necessità. Assolutamente consigliato per una vacanza rilassante!

Lovely place

The barn was spacious and comfortable and the large garden was great for our children to run around. The kitchen was well equipped, however, some basic stuff such as a kettle and a toaster were missing and I did miss these a lot. The location was a good starting point for day trips. Overall it was a good pick for us and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

***** Tolles Ferienhaus und super Vermieter, wir kommen gerne zurück! *****

Wir waren eine Woche mit einer fünfköpfigen Familie in der Ferienwohnung von James und Chicca und haben es sehr genossen. Das Haus ist äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich mit viiiel Platz für alle. Die Umgebung ist ideal für verschiedenste Ausflüge und James und Chicca sind perfekte Vermieter mit einer Vielzahl an Tipps in jeder Hinsicht (Essen, Ausflüge, praktische Tipps bei Strafzetteln :-) )Dann gibt es viel Platz im Garten, zum Spielen, Essen, Lesen,... Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir in die Region kommen, das war sicher nicht das letzte Mal!

Un cottage digne d'un cinq étoiles

Un premier mot: gracié. La maison est décorée avec goût qui aurait le droit d être dans une revue de déco. Grande pièce, salle de bain spacieuse . Le plus c est de pouvoir toujours prendre nos repas à l ombre des arbres. Les hôtes sont remarquables dispo quand nous avions besoins, très agréables et soucieux de notre bien être. Nous ont donné des conseils de visites. Location près de la mer et de tous les commerces. En dehors des grandes villes nous avons découverts des petites villes comme Lerichi, Tollero idylliques pour ses criques et paysages . Merci à vous deux et nous vous promettons de revenir bien vite. Our Second Stay

We knew just what to expect since this was our second stay in the "barn". We were not disappointed in any way! The owners are super nice and helpful, and everything you need is here. We loved that it is close to the Cinque Terra. We really hope to return a third time in the future!

Super Haus in zentraler Lage

Wir waren zu dritt und haben unsere zwei Wochen in der Toskana sehr genossen. Das Haus war einfach wunderbar und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Sehr liebe Gastgeber und die zentrale Lage des Hauses rundeten das Gesamtpaket ab. Wir waren oft am Strand und haben viele Ausflüge gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder und senden liebe Grüße.

Wunderschönes gepflegtes Haus in der nördlichen Toskana

Wir waren im August 2016 zu dritt in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich u. nett aber nicht aufdringlich. Sie wohnen direkt daneben. Das Meer ist ca. 10 min wie beschrieben entfernt, Supermärkte sind ebenfalls in der Nähe vorhanden. Fosdinovo liegt gleich fünf Minuten neben Sarzana, ist eine größere Stadt, in der man abends sehr lecker essen kann. Cinque Terre ist sehr zu empfehlen, vom Hafen in La Spezia fahren die Schiffe los. Ein Tipp, lieber sehr früh morgends losfahren. Wir sind an diesem Tag leider zu spät losgefahren, dann kann man am Hafen nur noch die Afternoon Karte kaufen u. dies ist für die sechs Inseln zu wenig Zeit. Oder man fährt mit dem Zug, dieser hält in jeder Insel u. man kann ein u. aussteigen wann man will. Das Panorama vom Schiff aus ist aber wirklich eindrucksvoll u. ein echtes Erlebnis. Ein Ausflug nach Portovenere muss man unbedingt machen. Ein nettes Städtchen direkt am Meer ist auch Lerici. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral u. man kann viele Ausflugsziele rasch erreichen. Sehr gefallen hat uns auch Florenz. Es gibt wirklich viel zum anschauen, leider waren wir nur eine Woche da und haben daher nicht alles geschafft. Wir würden dieses schöne Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Jolie maison mais...

L'emplacement de la la location a peu d'intérêt hormis la proximité des 5 Terre, de Lerici et de l'accès à l'autoroute vers Pise. La maison est très confortable et décorée avec goût, même s'il est dommage que le salon soit situé à l'étage, côté chambre. La literie de la chambre à baldaquin est parfaite alors que dans l'autre chambre, le matelas est très inconfortable. Nous avons trouvé l'accueil poli mais très limité ; on sent que les propriétaires n'ont pas le goût de recevoir des hôtes, il faut sans cesse poser des questions. Il en était de même pour les échanges de mails, difficile d'obtenir une réponse sans relance..En tout cas rien à voir avec l'accueil généreux que nous avons reçu en Italie depuis des années dans d'autres locations ! Dommage...

Good morning Catherine, thank you for taking the time to review the property and thank you for your constructive comments. The property is indeed very central for all the sights that you mention as well as being close to Sarzana which is great to walk around and dine in the evening. Castenuovo Magra, Nicola, Fosdinovo are also worth mentioning. The property was completely furnished throughout with new fitted kitchen and all lounge and bedroom furniture supplied specifically for "il Fienile" the materasses are identical in both bedrooms and so I am puzzled by this criticism. I am sorry if you found our welcome a little cold but we try not to be invasive and to allow our guests the privacy to relax in the spacious garden and around the property without disturbing them unless they need something from us to make their stay more comfortable. Next time please come by and I will open a couple of bottles of Chianti!! Thanks again for taking the time, James

La location est conforme et a répondu à nos attentes. Nous avons pu profiter des charmes de la Ligurie et de la Toscane ... La location est très bien située car à qq minutes de la plage et de la région des Cinque Terre. La location en elle même est d'excellente qualité et aménagée avec beaucoup de gout et tout est disponible (barbecue - lave linge - draps ...). Nous recommandons cette location.

Ein erholsamer und wunderschöner Aufenthalt.

Wir haben eine sehr erholsame Urlaubswoche zu zweit in diesem liebevoll dekorierten Haus verbracht. Jedem Zimmer merkt man an, wie viel Zeit und Gedanken in die Dekoration investiert wurden. Ebenso dem wunderschönen Garten, wo wir nahezu jeden Abend saßen, mit Blick auf allerlei Obstbäume. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das lag vor allem daran, dass die Hauseigentümer unglaublich freundlich und herzlich sind. Sie gaben uns viele hilfreiche Tipps um die Gegend zu erkunden. Zudem waren sie jederzeit für uns erreichbar, falls wir Fragen hatten, da sie nicht weit lebten. Trotzdem genossen wir den gesamten Urlaub über absolute Privatsphäre. Auch die Gegend liegt idyllisch perfekt zwischen der schönen Steilküste von Cinque Terre und unzähligen weiteren Sandstränden. In der gesamten Gegend sind zudem gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für frischen Fisch, Meeresfrüchte, Fleisch, Olivenöl und weitere italienische Spezialitäten gegeben. Wir freuen uns darauf, sehr bald wiederzukommen und würden dieses Haus jedem empfehlen!

Mooi huis in leuke omgeving

We hebben twee heerlijke weken gehad in dit vakantiehuis. Met de auto ben je in 10 minuten bij de zee. Mooie uitstapjes naar Lucca, Cinque Terre, Pisa en Fosdonivo. Ook erg leuk was het adventure park Fosdinovo. Dat is zeker een bezoek waard! Voor groot en klein. De eigenaren hebben ons naar mooie plekjes gestuurd en goed geadviseerd waar we informatie over vroegen. Heel behulpzaam dus. Bovendien is het huisje mooi en netjes ingericht. Wij hebben en prima vakantie gehad!!

Familienurlaub

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus sowohl für Familien mit Kind (wir waren zu Dritt dort) als auch für Pärchen bestens geeignet. Das Haus ist liebevoll & sehr geschmackvoll mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Kostenloses Wifi ist vorhanden. Der Garten ist richtig schön angelegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein, sowohl in den zwei vorhandenen Hängematten als auch auf den Sonnenliegen;-) Für die Kinder gibt es sogar ein Baumhaus und ein Fußballtor.Essplatz mit Gartenmöbeln ist direkt am Haus. Handtücher und Bettwäsche inklusive. Ein Supermarkt im Ort ist keine fünf Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen und ein kleiner Supermarkt sogar fussläufig. Die Umgebung bietet unheimlich viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, die wir leider nicht alle machen konnten. Pisa und Lucca sind sehr zu empfehlen, in Sarzana (kleinere Stadt in der Nähe) kann man abends eine leckere Pasta auf dem Marktplatz genießen. Von der Hafenstadt La Spezia aus kann man eine richtig tolle Bootstour zu den Cinque Terre machen-für uns ein absolutes Highlight! In La Spezia selbst kann man abends noch im Hafen Muscheln und Pizza vom Blech genießen-günstig und super lecker-vorallem mit Blick auf den Hafen. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Strandabschnitt in der Nähe, sehr gut für Kinder geeignet. Die Vermieter, James und Chicca und ihre beiden Söhne, waren sehr gastfreundlich und haben uns viele Infos und Tipps rund die Umgebung gegeben. Would love to have stayed longer!

We were looking for something close to friends that live in this area. We couldn't have been happier with this "barn". It was just perfect for the 3 of us adults, with plenty of room and every convenience we needed. The owners were super sweet, and went out of their way to make us comfortable, even to the extent of buying an american coffee pot for us. We would highly recommend this property, and would stay there again if we are ever so fortunate as to get back to Italy.
