This is the most comfortable and luxurious holiday house we have rented. We relaxed so quicklyon arrival and were so sorry to leave.
Local walks were in abundance and Oakchurch Farm shop is a must while The Swan at Letton is also worth a visit.
Can’t wait for our next staycation!

Thank you for leaving us a 5 star review. I agree the Cider Mill is 'luxury in the country'. Lots of thought went into creating this haven in Herefordshire. Superb king size beds and luxury linen, spacious bedrooms and all ensuite and a wonderful open plan sitting room/kitchen with views over the mature beautiful enclosed garden. Walking from the door, a superb farmshop at the top of the lane and a choice of good pubs within 5 minutes drive. As one of our guests said 'the property is top notch'. Please come back and stay with us again. Best wishes
Would recommend ‘Cidermill’. It’s cleanliness, comfort & amenities are top-notch. Even on a cloudy day the cottage brims with sunlight.

The Cider Mill is fantastic. Easy check in (keys on the table), welcome milk, cakes and other goodies. Accommodation perfect for our group of three couples - three ensuite bedrooms is so convenient when staying with friends. Bedding and beds super comfy. And, a great outdoor space as well. What's not to love!

Six friends with much to catch up on so a good deal of time spent in this lovely cottage round the kitchen table. The welcome hamper was especially appreciated and as we quickly discovered the bedrooms and general layout was spacious and beautifully maintained. The gardens were also a special delight with ample parking for three cars. Excellent meals at fairly local pubs and the most outstanding Garden Centre called Oakchurch was a a real find. We won't hesitate to book again.

What a fabulous 5 Star Review. I can imagine you all gathered around the elm dining table from India swopping stories and sipping wine. Hopefully the french doors were open and you could hear the birds and smell the scents of the lovely blooms? Yes I agree Oakchurch is something out of the ordinary. Isnt the Cider Mill lucky to be only 1.8 miles away from it! Come back and stay again very soon. Best wishes
The Cider Mill was so luxurious, beautifully designed, well kitted and such a beautiful setting. The gardens are outstanding. Close to fantastic walks. A perfect setup for family. Cozy and light.
We were able to enjoy many home cooked meals with friends (all very jealous of our place) and relax in the garden. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The host and her helpers were great. Communication was so easy. Lovely neighbors.
We recommended to serveral of our UK family and hope we can return sometime in the future.

What a lovely 5 star review. It is lovely to know your family of 6 enjoyed the CIder Mill and its comfort. I am half norwegian and light and coziness are very important to me and reflected in the Cider Mills design. Please come back and stay with us again and recommend us to your friends. Best wishes
Cozy, bright and beautifully decorated cottage, located in the quiet countryside, near Hereford, where a family of three relaxed in the mature gardens and connected with nature. The spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area was ideal, as our daughter is a wheelchair user. The beds were super comfy and we experienced the best sleep ever after long walks with our Labrador exploring the amazing countryside and orchards. No hesitation in returning and would highly recommend.

What a fantastic review thank you. Its great you slept well and enjoyed the lovely walking from the door. Hope to see you back again.
We had a fabulous week at The Cider Mill. Spacious but cosy accommodation which catered for us, our two adult daughters and our ageing Labrador perfectly. Beautifully decorated and furnished with everything we needed and more! The welcome pack on arrival was far more than we expected and hugely appreciated, it gave us a taste of what the local farm shop had to offer which we visited daily for essential and non essential provisions! The garden is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The Portway Inn has great options for veggies too. We would definitely book again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. A visitors book would be a apt addition to the property. Thank you for a lovely week.

Thank you for giving us the full 5 stars. The team really do appreciate it and it demonstrates we are doing our job! Yes the Cider Mill is cosy and spacious and well equipped. Oakchurch the farmshop at the top of the lane is such a bonus. The garden is a haven and a lovely spot to relax in. The visitors book has been put away because of COVID but will think about reintroducing it. Best wishes
We have recently returned from a week's break at Cider Mill cottage (family of four including 2 children aged 16 and 11). The house was beautiful and the gardens were absolutely stunning. Like so many others, we haven't had a family break for over a year so we were all really looking forward to this week and weren't disappointed; the house was immaculate and had everything we needed - including 2 fans running when we arrived which was a lovely touch given the hot weather we had that week. The kids loved the large beds in the bedrooms and having their own en-suite bathrooms - a real touch of luxury! They (as well as the adults) also loved having access to the pool table and table tennis table in the games room and the badminton set provided - we had a running games tournament the whole time we were there! I particularly enjoyed sitting out in the sun first thing in the morning with a cup of tea before anyone else got up looking at the stunning flowers and listening to the birds. Thank you so much for letting us stay here - would highly recommend as a relaxing break.

I am a busy property manager/owner. When not working I love being with my three dogs. This is Truffle who I bred and I now have her daughter Plum. Her mother Jelly was born in Monnington on Wye. I love cooking, walking, gardening and being with my family and friends.
Why they chose this property
My husband was brought up in Monnington House, Monnington on Wye. His parents chose to make Monnington House (listing no 8127249) their family home and farm. They loved the beauty of the Wye Valley and particularly enjoyed the oak trees scattered over the farm.
What makes this property unique
3 en suite bedrooms with superking hypnos beds all on one level. A mature, beautiful well maintained and enclosed south facing garden. A spacious and light sitting room/kitchen with interesting and high quality furnishings. The River Wye is nearby and can be reached by walking through the cider apple orchards. A choice of walks from the door to suit all abilities. Pub and cafe within one hours walk. Great wifi. Lots of interesting local places to visit nearby. Superb farmshop at the top of the lane which will enhance your stay.
