Fordwater at Woodstock Suites

This self-catering suite is arranged over two floors. It has one bedroom with a super king bed, luxury bed linen and towels, a fully equipped kitchenette and dining area, a cosy living area, LED TV with Freeview, Free WiFi and a hairdryer. The modern en-suite bathroom has a bath with shower. Tea coffee and sugar provided.
Located in the South Downs, the hamlet of Charlton is one of the prettiest places in West Sussex, and Woodstock House has been part of its history and charm since 1740. We have lovingly restored this Georgian House and our collection of luxury self-catering suites to ensure our guests enjoy a great night’s sleep and a comfortable stay.

Our six suites cater for groups of up to 14 people to individual travellers.

Beautifully furnished, the suites have fully equipped kitchenettes for you to self-cater, cosy living areas, LED TVs with Freeview, free WiFi, modern bathrooms, luxury bed linen, and extremely comfortable beds.

Surrounded by woodland, meadows, and pastures Woodstock Suites is a haven for picnics, running, walking and cycling. It is within walking distance of Levin Down, a chalk grassland reserve and home to butterflies, orchids, and other beautiful wildlife.

Chichester Festival Theatre, Cowdray Park, the Goodwood Estate, golf courses, wedding venues and the Blue Flag beaches of West Wittering on the South Coast are all just a short drive away. There also are good rail connections from the cathedral city of Chichester.

Woodstock Suites is warm and cosy and has everything you need.

It has everything you need. We loved the cosy area downstairs to wind down and relax after our busy days. It was lovely to come back to a warm place as we were there in December. The owner David, was very obliging giving us an early check in and a late check out. There is a lovely pub 2 minutes walk away that has great food.

Woodstock Suites - Perfect for our stay

The suites are self catering and we stayed in Ford Water whilst three others were occupied by friends & family. In the lovely village of Charlton. The grounds are well kept and looked after. There was a surprise pint of milk in the fridge so one could make themselves a cup of tea or coffee which was also supplied. We managed to have breakfast at the lovely pub The Fox Goes Free a short walk from the property. As they don’t offer breakfast on the website they will accommodate if you reserve.

a comfortable stay in a lovely part of the world

The suite was clean, bright and quiet. There was plenty of space for 2 of us. We were there for 2 nights, and tried a couple of the local pubs after walking on the South Downs, which were both great. Good communication with the owner in the lead up and very easy check in and out.

Comfortable, friendly, relaxing and simple, no stress.

The location was spot on for our visit to the Weald and Downland Museum. To have two very good pubs in close proximity was an added bonus. Not to forget the amazing breakfast to be had at the nearby Star and Garter! The suite had everything we needed. It was warm and cosy and uncluttered. Simply decorated and furnished. It was quiet. David was brilliant in getting back to us about our booking and query. It was really nice chatting with him up the local pub too.

Perfect spot in every way.

Very good apartment - warm and comfortable and - the best thing - a BATH! Great pub about 100 yards away and very easy access to the wonderful walks at West Dean and also the Festival Theatre in Chichester. This is my 4th visit to Woodstock and I hope to return again next year.

Beautiful accommodation for a relaxing weekend away.

We had a wonderful overnight stay. The rooms lived up to the pictures on the website. Lovely quiet area and a fantastic meal was had at The Fox GoesFree pub. We will definitely be coming back again.

Perfect venue near an excellent pub!

We stayed at Woodstock Suites as we were going to a nearby wedding. We decided to arrive the night before the wedding and sample the delights of the nearby pub, the “Fox Goes Free”. We weren’t disappointed with either!

Fantastic.

It was a beautiful stay in a well appointed suite in a quiet and picturesque part of the country. It had everything you need. It was spacious, shiny clean, good bedroom with a comfortable bed. Good kitchen facilities, good heating with television and wi fi.

A practical, convenient and well-appointed apartment which could be made more aesthetically pleasing

Apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable, though the sitting room could have been a bit more attractive and the furniture was quite basic. The apartments are also not very sound-proofed and we were awoken by other guests arriving back late at night. Great location - especially the local pub, which was very good, and local walks.

Woodstock Suites - a definite recommendation for a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting

Woodstock Suites are conveniently located near to Goodwood, with plenty of parking - in a wonderful picturesque setting. Lovely bright bedroom, lounge facilities and bathroom. Immaculately clean and the best night sleep ever. Easy access to the the rooms on arrival due to clear instructions - just wish we were able to stay longer!
