Large lakefront home on Upper Greenwood Lake, is just a short 10 minute drive away from quaint and historic Warwick, New York, replete with great restaurants & myriad fun activities, and 18-minutes from skiing, sledding, tubing at the new expanded tubing and spa resorts at Vernon Valley, Great Gorge, NJ.

Apple & pumpkin picking aplenty, just 8 minutes north, along with farmer's markets & small stores selling the tastiest home made pies ever, as well as year round home made ice cream.

The iconic Warwick Drive In is open year round for your viewing pleasure; such fun!

Skylights offer a glimpse of the beautiful sunlight, or soft rain, or flakey snow; it boasts a nature charm in each season. Perfect nooks abound in this funky home, to snuggle up with a book, or to take a quick nap on the futon.

The lakefront jewel sleeps 2-6 comfortably and can be rented for a 6 month period at a 15% discount from the daily rate.

LESS THAN 6 MONTH RENTERS CANNOT USE THE LAKE FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE ACTIVITIES ACCORDING TO THE RULES OF UPPER GREENWOOD LAKE. That said, Wawayanda State Park, located 3 miles north, offers ample swimming, boating, picnicking, paddle boarding & hiking. Additionally, Greenwood Lake, located 4 miles south, offers jet ski & boat rentals.

Minimum rental period all year round is 3 nights.

This 3 story home has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms--one with bathtub + one with shower only--living and dining room, breakfast nook as well as den and lakefront office, just in case you need to 'report in'.

The home has a centrally located fireplace, 2 Smart TVs, DVD, VHS, CD players and plenty of room for relaxed entertaining. The outside of the home is a scenic lakefront feast for the eyes. Large deck & smaller upper deck with amazing lake views, fire pit to prepare those mouthwatering s'mores, and walls full of books to read.

My home is rustic with lots of character, boasting cathedral, open-beam ceilings, fireplace, 3 bedrooms--1 Queen + 1 Double + Bunk Beds, plus an additional open Loft Queen bed, sitting/reading rooms, dining & living room.

The kitchen, while compact, is fully furnished with ample cookie sheets, pots, pans, cooking utensils, pottery flatware, wine goblets, spices and basic cooking ingredients. (Home does NOT have a dishwasher.)

Main floor deck features an outdoor table & chairs, Weber gas grill, Two Cabela's fully adjustable lounge chairs. Downstairs patio features expandable table, chairs, portable chairs for yard or dock as well as frisbee golf, and myriad other yard games.

Washer and dryer in basement.

Upper Deck also features exquisite views of Upper Greenwood Lake.

We really enjoyed our stay in the quiet setting along the lake. Less than 50 miles from NYC, as it allowed for multiple visits during our one-week stay. Warwick and other smaller communities are nearby. The house had plenty of space with an office and extra storage rooms. Debra was very helpful and generously provided a few things for us to make our arrival easier. We were able to grill out on the back deck on one evening and enjoy a view during our June 2025 stay. We would love to visit again!

Debra is extremely easy to work with. Her attention to her renters is fantastic. She went above board to help us with needed local information. The location is great for day trips into NYC and surrounding communities. We would definitely stay there again.

Great for family

There’s plenty of room for everyone with multiple bedrooms located on different levels. Several different decks offer beautiful and relaxing lake views. Very quiet neighborhood with almost no traffic. Owner Debra was very communicative and easy to work with. Would highly recommend this home!

Very Charming Property

My family really enjoyed this rental. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. Had fun on the lake with the kayaks and floats. We made smores by the fire ring. Had a blast. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this rental.

great get-away

I stayed at the lake for 3 days midweek, and absolutely loved it. The house and lake are beautiful, and the house is at the end of a dead-end road so it's quiet. Little touches like the chilled beer mug in the freezer, some food staples, and well-stocked kitchen were greatly appreciated. And the bed in the master bedroom is comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again, cons: lack of window shades/blinds, no dishwasher

Wonderful!

We booked this last minute and it saved our trip. Debra was a fantastic host, going above and beyond, so helpful- it rained a lot during our stay and not only did she tell me where we could buy rain gear but she actually called the store and had them hold some ponchos for me. She also left us fresh milk and eggs which was super helpful, and there were a lot of staples to help us cook, which I have not found to be true at many places. The view was lovely too. Everything was great!

Cozy home with beautiful views

My partner, friends, and I enjoyed a long weekend at this amazing lakefront home. The views of the lake from the different decks were stunning - the sunsets were gorgeous and on clear nights you can see thousands of stars! We loved all the decor, books, music, games, and amenities this place had to offer. We felt like we had everything we could ever want/need - the host has thought of and stocked everything. We enjoyed a nice dinner at one of the host's recommended spots, the Landmark Inn in Warwick. We had such a wonderful time and hope to rent this property again soon!

Fabulous stay!

This is a great location and wonderful views of the lake both Inside and outside! We really nice sitting outside drinking morning coffee. Great dining table with views to play games or have a meal if the outside weather isn't cooperating. Where the house is located on the lake it is really quiet. While there is watercraft allowed on the lake, it is a skinny part of it, so the Water skiers etc. dont come into that area. The hose is really well stocked. both with things like Dishes and Basic cooking needs. Debra the host is really nice and very communicative. She really made us feel at home. Looking foward to staying here again at some point.

Roomy home with lake views

The house is in a beautiful location and there is ample space for everyone to relax. The home is very well equipped. It was nice to have some staples in the kitchen and my son was happy to finally play Monopoly. It is so nice to stay someplace with two bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and nicely made up. We didn’t use the queen bed on the ground level, it was a little too damp/humid for our liking. There is a dehumidifier available. Debra let us know what to expect and provided good information about her home and the surrounding area. I agree with another review that window treatments in the main floor full sized bed room would be helpful. Great spot for enjoying the views, going for a nice drive or meal or zip lining at the adventure park.

What a wonderful trip!

Top to bottom, this was a fabulous five-night getaway with our friends from Chicago. Our host, Debra, was delightful! She sent recommendations for homemade ice cream spots, fresh pies (and hiking spots to burn them off 🙂). She sent videos explaining how to interact with the quirkier parts of the house, as well as a virtual tour of the myriad chairs, hammocks, and other goodies. When we had a question, she got right back to us, and was so charming! Although we never met, I felt we were very taken care of. I hope to meet her sometime to discuss the fantastic collection of books in her library! The house itself is lovely. Very homey and full of character. It has many nice places for sitting and chatting, great views of the lake, books galore, and plenty of ice! (Maybe that isn’t as flashy a selling point as the others, but it is greatly appreciated - you sure notice when it is missing!) Oh! And she has several mugs chilling in the freezer, ready for a nice cold root beer (or your libation of choice) - a lovely touch that shows the thoughtfulness and care that Debra puts into the house and her guests. The area was very nice. We ate at 100 Main in Warwick, a wonderful Italian restaurant that served tissue thin prosciutto and Burrata cream that was heavenly. I highly recommend the Lamb Ragù. We had a breakfast in West Milford at Pop’s Bagelry and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for everything, Debra. My wife and I are already looking for dates to come back!

lots of fun

we loved this house! location was perfect for us, and really felt all-included. from the firewood to towels, everything was ready for us. we even found a puzzle mat which helped us complete 3 puzzles during the weekend. have amazing view of the lake in very quiet neighborhood. (though it was too cold to get into. probably even better in the summer) the house is a little old, but i think this is part of the charm. Thank you Debra!

Charming knotty pine cabin with fab lake view

Debra was the best hostess! She was always available to via tex to help with restaurants and hiking recommendations. I loved her rustic wooden cabin with high ceilings, wood burning fireplace, huge deck overlooking the lake, walls of windows with great views, comfy bed, books galore and lots of cool living spaces. This home is very privately located down a sleepy road not like many of the homes that are right off the main road. I loved the privacy. Her home is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and living including, spices, tin foil, zip locs, medicine cabinet things, laundry stuff etc. and super clean. It felt like I was staying in the cozy home of a good friend. If you are looking for an old world delightful experience in a quiet and private setting look no further!

Relaxing getaway!

This is the perfect weekend getaway from NYC. We didn’t get a chance to get out on the lake, but just being able to sit out on the deck and enjoy the view with a cup of coffee was all we needed. The house was equipped with everything you need and Debra was always quick to respond, extremely helpful with recommendations on places to eat and visit. She even has videos to help guide you through the house before you arrive. I would highly recommend this house.

The home is a lot larger than it appears, is comfy & rustic, houses hundreds of books for leisure reading, provides ample cozy chairs for much-needed relaxing.
2 Queen beds + 1 Standard Double feature firm, yet pillow-top, mattresses to ensure restful sleep. Twin Bunk beds in small bedroom.
Several nooks offer individuals privacy & unfettered lake views.
You can take a deep breath and exhale slowly as you unwind here. It doesn't get better than sipping coffee on the deck and watching nature--mallard ducks, swans, eagles, geese & great blue herons are frequent visitors. Myriad farm-to-table restaurants in nearby Warwick, NY will keep your taste buds satisfied and Appalachian trail as well as Stairway to Heaven & dozens of breathtaking views' hiking will put you at ease and melt your stress away. End your evening with a grilled dinner on the main deck, then pop into your car 4 miles north to take in a double feature at any of the 3 screens a the iconic Warwick DRIVE IN Theaters.
