Summer swimming and boating with private dock and propane BBQ on the lakeside deck. Boat, kayak, and paddleboard rentals are available at local marinas. There are many choices of restaurants right on the lake to get to by car or boat!
Enjoy the rich autumn foliage and local apple picking and antiquing.
Wintertime is Beautiful! Return to a cozy fire in the stone fireplace after a day of local skiing and snow tubing at Mountain Creek, Mount Peter or Stirling Mt. Have fun ice skating and snowmobiling on the Lake!!.
Just an hour from New York City sites and attraction. Walking distance to NYC bus. Woodbury Commons outlet shopping nearby. The Renaissance Festival at nearby Tuxedo. Mt. Appalachian Trail has great hiking. Great restaurants! It has it all!

About the host

My husband, Ira and I are New Yorkers. He grew up in the Bronx near Yankee Stadium and I grew up in Mount Vernon. As a child, Ira's family would spent summers in the Catskills and he had a special memory of being in a motorized boat with his Dad and friends on a beautiful, grand lake. When our kids were about that age, he drove us to find 'the lake' and we did!
Why they chose this property
The moment we stepped foot on the deck and took in the incredible view of the lake, we fell in love. To this day, the deck is our favorite part of the house. It is so peaceful and lovely.
What makes this property unique
Along with these views, it is a very functional, easy house. The open floor plan downstairs, makes it very comfortable for visiting, sharing a meal or a movie and just hanging out. The three bedrooms upstairs are roomy with views of the lake.
We are so excited that we have been able to remodel both bathrooms, the kitchen with granite counters, new cabinets and appliances and hardwood floors downstairs!!
