Tucked away spot that has what we needed.

We traveled back to Boise to visit family and friends. This property had just what we needed! From comfortable rooms, to a well stocked kitchen, to great hosts, to a great deck for enjoying the early morning sunshine.... this place has it! We wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.

GREAT home away from home

We decided to try out the Sunset Cottage since we will be spending more time in Boise and wanted an actual home to stay at. This home is in a great location, very clean and updated, with two bedrooms and bathrooms and full kitchen and living room with Wi-Fi. We were able to work here remotely with no issues. The owners were AWESOME and immediately responded to messages - and even kindly mailed an item I left behind mistakenly. 100% recommend and we will be back soon!

Cute cottage conveniently located

Cozy little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Conveniently located. Very responsive owner. Nice to have a washer dryer and a garage as well as a second bathroom. Would definitely stay there again.

Charming cottage in great location

We spent about two weeks at the cottage in the process of relocating to Boise. Its location is extremely convenient - less than 10 minutes to downtown restaurants and attractions; the greenbelt and hiking trails; Bogus Basin; and neighboring town Eagle. The property is well maintained and well stocked, and has lots of storage. The owners are responsive when you need them, and otherwise discretely stay out of the way. Would rent the cottage again in a heartbeat.

Great location!

I need to explain, we ended up changing to the larger of the two units so my review is on the larger unit, not the one pictured. They look very similar on the outside and are connected by the garage not shared walls. The home is well equipped, plenty of linens, everything worked well, very comfy. It doesn't have a "view", but has a great front porch for morning coffee or evening happy hour. We ate breakfast and dinner outside daily too. It is less than 200 yards from GREAT hiking paths! If you enjoy a sunrise or sunset hike, this is your place!!! It is very close to downtown. Easy and beautiful drive to Bogus Basin and lots of scenic drives and parks. It is in an older, established neighborhood so you have big trees, older homes, a true feel of home.

A GREAT place to stay!!!

This cottage is so clean and well-kept - it's amazing! It's very tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture. I was there for a week with my daughter, her husband and their infant baby and they stayed for an entire month while their house was being remodeled. My daughter told me she didn't want to leave the cottage, she loved it so much. The owners, Scott and Amy are very easy to work with. They are great communicators, but not intrusive. The upkeep of the cottage is very important to them and there was a handyman that did a couple of things while we were there, but Scott made arrangements ahead of time with us and was very respectful of our time and privacy. The bedrooms are large with big closets. Both bathrooms are roomy and updated. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room is very comfortable and they even have direct TV! There's a great laundry room too. This cottage is layed out very well. I, along with my daughter and her family would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay for a few days or a month! They've just done a great job with this place! We've stayed in other vrbo's - and we are picky - this place is a gem! We hope to use it again when we have a family gathering in Boise. Thanks to Scott and Amy the hassle of remodeling and delayed timelines made my daughter and her family's life a whole lot better!!
