About this property

Private beach, quiet cove, beautiful deck view!

Quiet dead end road, private beach, neighborhood boat ramp, large deck overlooking cove and beautiful sunsets, on Lake Eufaula, OK in the Heart of Longtown!

On the water, amazing views, boat ramp access down the street. Restaurants, Gas station, Dollar General all near by. There are a few kid board games in the #3 bedroom dresser. We have kid movies for the kids to watch, the grill on the back deck can also be utilized, it has a full propane tank.

Access to the entire house, except the master bedroom closet, and the shed will both be locked.
***BBQ Grill is on the back deck, movies for kids in back living area, and PG-13 movies are in the front living area, board games, and cards for kids, and adults. LCR game

Very quiet, dead end street, home is on a cove water front. Large back deck for viewing the sunsets.

Best mode of transportation is your vehicle for getting around town. Paved and gravel roads.

Great place!

We went and had a great time! The house had everything we needed and was very clean! The kids loves the short walk to the sandy beach area and swam there mist of the day! We also loved that there is a second living area that the kids can hang out in! We’d definitely stay here again!

Great weekend stay

Met the neighbors right away and they were super nice. The house had plenty of dishes for cooking and the grill worked well. Caught some tiny catfish out back but pretty quiet fishing. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great relaxing time at this property. The back deck area that is right on the lake was very enjoyable any time of day. House was clean and very well furnished. Easy to get to. Easy to get back into town. Would stay here again!

Awesome lake trip!

We loved the property especially the back porch and outdoor space! Also the easy access for fishing was awesome! We rented a boat slip at No. 9 Marina which was only a few minutes away from the property. This was a great experience!

Cozy Lake House

Cute accommodations. Kitchen well equipped. The house is an older double wide with neat decor. It could use some minor remodeling/repairs to make it great. Overall a great stay. We would definitely rent the place again in the future and would recommend it to friends.

We could not have been more pleased. We are unfamiliar with Dish TV so we never did figure out how to turn it on but that was ok. Very clean and everything needed for a pleasant stay was provided.

Home away from home

Honestly was not ready to leave. We had so much fun and the porch is the perfect spot to have a glass of wine and take in the beautiful views. Also the spot to drop the boat is literally less than 3 minutes away. Needless to say everything was pretty perfect. We will definitely be coming back.

Lake Eufaula August 2021

Very nice quiet peaceful area! Very safe! Launched our 24’ pontoon on Friday night and it was in the water until the following Friday morning! Tied up in the very shallow cove 2 doors down! No one messed with it. Lake house was tastefully decorated! We had a great time!

Our stay was awesome! The house was exactly what we needed. The owner was easy to contact and always responded immediately. We got there early and asked if we could go ahead and check in. She reset the alarm so we could get in and settled. My daughter left her debit card and a water proof phone holder and she immediately notified me and is sending it in the mail. We would definitely stay again!

GREAT PLACE

It was clean and well decorated/cared for. Back porch was excellent for visiting and having morning coffee. No problems with anything while we were there. Jill was very responsive if I had any questions. Great little community where the property is located. Sitting outside on the porch watching canadian geese, deer, squirrels, cranes and heron. All of us had a great time. This was our first time to do a VRBO rental - excellent experience. Definitely recommond this home!

Disappointed in fishing

The house was very clean and well provisioned. I had my mom with me, who is 85, so all of the steps were arduous for her. The neighbors were friendly and gracious, and provided us with key information during our stay. We brought our boat as we were under the impression that the chances were good that we could get in the cove, but that was definitely not the situation. Evidently the lake is rarely high enough to allow boats to enter the cove as it is basically landlocked. Since my mom was with us fishing from the bank was important, but with the cove being landlocked that limited our prospects. The neighbors gave us some helpful tips, so we did catch a few fish in the cove. I feel that the owners were not entirely forthcoming about the boat and fishing situation. If you are not necessarily interested in fishing, this would be a great home.

Kenita, You had inquired about fishing, which normally behind our house is good. You also questioned renting a canoe, or kayak, you never mentioned bringing a boat down. I would have definitely explained to you, about not being able to access the cove due to water levels being low. ( I explain that to everyone that mentions bringing down a boat) .Sorry your fishing experience was not what you had expected. In regards to the stairs for your Mom, I also would have informed you, if I would have known you planned on bringing your 85 year old Mom about the stairs. Accommodated our family

It was perfect amount of room for our family. I've rented through vrbo before at Lake Tenkiller. However, the last house we rented was stocked with plenty of paper towels, trash bags and lots of beach towels. This house was not. I was not anticipating that so we had to go to the store and purchase those things. Also, we heard from the neighbors that normally that part of the lake has stagnant water that you definitely cannot swim in. The swim beach area 4 houses down wasnt really accessible because of the residents and the high water levels so swimming was difficult. We had fun in spite of the high water levels. We were disappointed that we could not make smores outside because the fire pit was underwater. We also had to pay for damage protection extra which I found was interesting considering there were several chairs that were broken and the patio table umbrella was also broken.

Amanda, I apologize for the water levels being up so high with all this lovely ok weather we have been getting, I unfortunately can't control that end of things. As far as the extra trash bags & paper towels those would have been under the kitchen sink for you. Then the beach towels, or lake towels are above the washing machine on the shelf. The chairs were weather torn, from being in the sun. I have since removed and thrown them away. The umbrella is fine, it just stays to the side like that once opened. **The damage protection fee is refundable, (as long as nothing is broken/ stolen or damaged) and that is to protect you as well as our home! Tranquil & Relaxing spot by the lake.

Our stay was tranquil & relaxing by the lake spending time with family nearby for Thanksging. We loved the two separate seating areas, where everyone could divide up and have different conversations. We came to see family nearby and the cabin was our hub for entertaining. We had 17 during the day and 8 staying at night and the vrbo spot was perfect. The full back porch was one of my favorite things, Coffee in the mornings while all was quiet was especially nice.. The kids enjoyed fishing, a bonfire down by lake and plenty of room to play ball. The owners Stephen & Jill were excellent to work with and they provided extra special touches thru out the house. Quick to respond to questions and very informative about the area. Kitchen was fully stocked for us to make our big thanksgiving meal, we just had to bring the food. The fire place was not useable, because it hadn’t been cleaned for the season yet, so that was a bit disappointing, however having a bonfire by the lake made up for that. Sitting in both areas was very comfortable lounging furniture, all our guys especially liked while watching football. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for tranquil, relaxation. There is no WiFi, and what I loved about it is the kids/adults just set their phones away and enjoyed just laughing & playing games. Thank you for a great home away from home.

Lovely place for lake weekend!

We enjoyed sitting out on the deck every evening. I also enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck, so nice! Had lots of room for our family. Spent most of the days on the lake in our pontoon boat. Lovely place for a lake weekend!
