Enjoyable holiday place

We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the house was well equipped and we used the pool area a lot. The grounds with the pool table and other activities was also greatly appreciated, as was the location near stores, tavernaen and beach areas. Highly recommended!

Peaceful Stay at Tavronitis

The Villa is as described and the village is so inviting. We were able to stay without a car because all you need is within walking distance. Bus is also available to Chania and was able to visit the Venetian city twice. The wine and goodies left for us was a very nice touch for our arrival. Overall an excellent stay at Eleon Villas.

Tres agréable séjour

Maison très agréable, calme et confortable. Belle piscine. Mais le bruit de la piscine était un peu gênant et les accessoires ( torchons, savon, sacs poubelles,.) étaient insuffisants. Le propriétaire a cependant été réactif et est venu nous dépanner dans les deux cas.

Wir waren eine Woche in der Villa Tzina und haben uns sehr wohl gefhlt. Pool, Garten und Haus sind sehr liebevoll gepflegt. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und behob kleine Probleme sofort. Im Dorf kann man direkt bei Bcker, Metzger, Fischer und Supermarkt alles zu Fuss frisch einkaufen, die Strandtaverne hat uns super gefallen (gutes Essen und herrlicher Blick auf die Bucht). Man kann viele Ziele in West-Kreta super von hier erreichen, auch die Berge und Pleoxhora im Sden!....Wir werden gerne wiederkommen falls mglich!

The property was in an ideal place, immaculate and well looked after. Very quiet neighborhood, near a village called Tavronitis with great tavernas and local food specialties. Also, the nearest beach is only a 5-minute walk away. Great relaxed holiday. We will come back to this quiet location.

The Villa Tzina was great, right what we expected. All in all a very nice and relaxing holiday. If you are looking for a quiet restful holiday in a private villa with perfect sea views then this is the place for you! It really was a great stay, lovely to be able to stay somewhere so nice and comfortable. Great relaxed holiday at a nice quiet location, near to the beach. Nice terrace and pool, we enjoyed relaxing there during the whole day and waited the moment to see the most beautiful sunset views from there. The location is also excellent for exploring other places and the local area. Within only a 10-15 minute drive you are at Agia Marina where you can enjoy their local amenities, beaches, shops, restaurants... We tried great Cretan specialties there. Most of our time we spend at Paralia Maleme beach entraining ourselves with different activities: relaxing, sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, etc. All in all an excellent place and villa which we can highly recommend.

The house is clean and well equipped. The rooms were very well equipped with a/c and comfortable the whole place was kept spotlessly clean. The location of the Villa Tzina was ideal with well-stocked supermarkets close by (some within walking distance and some a quick drive with the car) and an excellent taverna with great food which was priced reasonably. Villa was right next to a fantastic beach that had crystal clear waters and was excellent for snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing...

This villa is set in an absolutely beautiful location near to the sea. The location is very quiet...

This villa is set in an absolutely beautiful location near to the sea. The location is very quiet and private and you are not overlooked. All the bedrooms, the kitchen/dining room, lounge, and other amenities were just perfect. The villa itself has everything you need for a relaxing getaway holiday. We have visited many different villas in Crete over the past 10 years but the Villa Tzina is definitely the best one we have stayed in. We have already booked for July and September next year. There are several restaurants, tavernas, bars, and most important the beach nearby (within walking distance). Also, you can find other local shops and a bakery, and other stores for day-to-day supplies at near Pirgos and Gerani. You need only a 10-15 minute drive to Platanias and Agia Marina to a wide selection of bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, beaches... While there we took several trips to fab beaches near Tavronitis and Agia Marina (Tavronitis, Platanias, and Agia Marina Beach). Nice quality time spend there: tasting local food, wine tasting, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc. Great holiday spent at Villa Tzina and Tavronitis. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...)

Superb Location.... Villa Tzina is by far one of the most charming Villas I stayed. From the beautiful manicured Garden, BBQ, Ping Pong table and pool made this feel like we were in a paradise. We were able to buy fresh fish and meat from the local supermarket. Everything we needed was in walking distance. Thank you Michaelis for making this a perfect Holiday.

The outdoor area was what really sold the Villa Tzina to us. It didnt disappoint. A lovely warm pool, beautiful floral garden, excellent BBQ, various furniture, shady areas and generally relaxing. The shared Ping Pong and Pool Table was a great feature that we often used. Tavronitis itself was nice. A little "rough around the edges" but quiet, with a small, quiet, stony beach with a couple of Tavernas serving it. That said, we would happily trade the peace and quiet for the busier but more beautiful beaches of Elafonisi etc (which are worth a visit). The local amenities are really quiet good - the local butcher, baker, fishmonger and supermarket we used on a daily basis. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone considering the North West of Crete as it serves as a good base to visit the aforementioned beaches, and Chania (which is also most definitely worth checking out).

Owners very friendly and always helpful. Villa rustic but charming set within an olive grove. Suitable for families with young children. We were able to walk to the shops beach tavernas quite easily and because of the temperatures July/August didn't use a car but took taxis when necessary. The swimming pool was excellent and we spent a lot of time in it and around it.
