Yiannis Cottage is situated in a small village in W. Crete, set above Spilia's Myrtidiotissa Church, with it's magnificent painted interior. Indulge yourself around your own beautiful private Pool, listening to bird-song and enjoying the scent of fragrant flowers.
Every year we made some changes in order to have a better and higher quality stay.
Our pool is salted, which means that we won't use chlorine, so the pool is totally ecological. We made also the pool heated for the colder months of the season (Spring and Autumn). 2 new big wooden sunbeds and a perfect for relaxing nest are provided to you. New pool tiles and some more details will be ready and wait for our guests for 2023.
We brought even closer nature to you and your table with more fruits
and vegetables from our garden and fresh eggs from a new small hennery a few meters away from the Cottage.
With respect to the architecture of the area, we have upgraded the facilities of the Cottage giving more emphasis to a larger bathroom & shower area and we also added a taller fence which gives more privacy to our guests.
Yiannis Cottage is provided with the special sign of the Greek Tourist Organization (EOT-1354121504) which secures the quality level of all services, terms and conditions our guests have the privilege to enjoy during their stay.
Enjoy the pleasures of the local tavernas, or eat by your Pool on warm balmy evenings.
Whether you are looking for a totally relaxing, or a more adventurous holiday, you will find that Yiannis Cottage is the perfect base.

For you to enjoy leisurely breakfasts on your terrace overlooking the Pool, there is a breakfast pack consisting of bread, natural juices, eggs, bacon, honey and butter.
Cleaning and linen change.: Also included are bath (face and body) & Pool towels.
The Cottage is cleaned twice a week which includes linen and towel change.

What a cosy place!!!

This was my third time at this region of Crete which is my favorite in Greece!!I choosed this villa based from the reviews and I was right!!! The villa is exactly what a couple needs for relaxing and more!!! The villa has everything you may need. 1)Privacy!Nobody can bother you.The entrance of the house is near a pricate family road. 2)You can feel isolated but a few steps away there are 2 grate tradisional taverns for foodbor drink. 3) The pool is very Big for 2 people,is salted and it is heated!!!!!!When we booked we didn't know it!!! 4) Manolis...He didn't charve anything more for the amenity of the heated pool and he did...Everything we could ask from an owner..Tips,kindness and the feeling you can base on him if anything happens.We travel.a lot and all these things are what you search! The welcome pack was also unexpected. We have never seen anything similar. Thank you much Manolis.We will be back!!

Beautiful Location!

We picked the Yiannis Cottage because of the private pool and beautiful views we saw in the pictures. We were not disappointed! We had a wonderful and relaxing stay here. Manolis was helpful and responsive to anything that we needed. We would definitely recommend!

I wish I lived here

My husband and I stayed 2.5 weeks at the cottage and we loved every minute of it. We wish we lived there. The yard is amazing and we spent every evening gazing at the mountains and the pool. Yiannis and family are very, very, VERY nice and are always around to help (they live nearby). They even bring you fresh-picked delicious things from the garden which we happily ate (as well as some olive oil and Raki). The house itself is pretty complete with plenty of chairs, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, towels, wifi, full kitchen, laundry, and plenty of cute things to look at. Cleaning is twice a week. If you stay longer than 14 days they include a rental car in the package. You are very close to grocery stores and gas (1km). You are also close to so many amazing beaches (20 minutes to Falasarna, Balos, etc.), and many more beaches close by. There is hiking, caves, and cute towns to enjoy. So much fresh food. On that note,(esp If you are driving) I would suggest the "gorge tavernas" in Deliana, and the neighborhood tavernas is also pretty good. The "dimitricara" (not sure how to spell) tavernas in Kolymbari is also nice (they make everything themselves even the wine and cheese), and we loved the salads at a place called something like "apetecha" (its on the waterfront) in Kissamos. There is so much to do nearby. You could also just sit in the pool and be happy, too. I would suggest this place to couples or small families, and I would HIGHLY recommend the cottage to anyone who would listen (especially couples).

A Peaceful Getaway in Gorgeous Surroundings

A very tranquil and relaxing getaway in a small village surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Beautiful, private gardens and a good-sized pool. Ideal for two people. Fabulous welcome and great hospitality from very generous hosts. The cottage is kept clean and well-maintained by owners and cleaners, who come in twice a week. Comfortable bedroom but living/dining room needs a comfortable sofa and TV upgrade, especially if you like nights in. A car is essential because the beach is a few miles off and you'll want to pop into Chania or explore the West of the island if you're staying for more than a week. Really good vale, and definitely recommended as a great place to chill. Bring some books and CDs!

Best Holidays ever!!!

My fiance and me had the chance to spend a wonderful week in Spilia. We found such a nice cottage with any needful things in there. It's for sure the best thinkable place to relax from daily stress and everyday stuff. We'd like to say "Thank you" again for the hospitality we found there in Crete...
