This cottage exceeded all our expectations, perfect for us 2+1 and a big dog.
This cottage exceeded all our expectations, perfect for us 2+1 and a big dog. Fully equipped kitchen we were able to cook a roast dinner no problem! It's super quiet in middle of fields with beautiful views of hills and no neighbours which is what we wanted! House was cosy, heating easy to work and we enjoyed use of the fire! Lovely hot shower with good pressure! Some little things we appreciated were: Local cookies and jam on arrival!DishwasherGreat big coffee table in lounge (good for family games!)Wine glasses! The sun room! Great extra spaceGood Wi fi signal (makes up for lack of network signal)Very good value for money for the area we will likely re book here, probably in the summer to make most of all the local attractions.

East Lane Barn was exactly as we had hoped for, it provided a great base for us to explore the beautiful surrounding area. Cosy, warm and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your time away including a modern kitchen and bathroom with spacious shower. Please note the property is of course a barn conversion so you will have a few spiders here and there to be expected. It's location has wonderful views and plenty of wildlife to see. Everywhere is easily accessible by car with the nearest village shop at West Burton just 5 minutes away, and the market towns of Hawes and Leyburn only 15 to 20 minutes away. We loved it and will return again.

We found it difficult to gain access to the key safe it was very stiff and we arrived at 7 o’clock and couldn’t contact anyone as numbers we were given were closed so we had to find a hotel for the night . We left early as no mobile phone service which was very concerning as my husband has heath issues . The accommodation was lovely and well equipped but sadly not suitable for us .
