Perfect Location

Stunning location next to the River Wharfe. Great walks from the door step (Grassington, Bolton Abbey and Simon's Seat) and only a few hundred yards from The Red Lion pub. Cottage was very comfortable.

Lovely small cottage. Just great for walking around Burnsall area. Cozy once warmed up. Heating gets some getting used to. Warm cozy fire with plenty of logs supplied. Clean and comfortable. Good pubs nearby for eating out. Would stay again.

A treasure!

This place was a little piece of heaven. Immaculate, cozy, well, appointed in a lovely hamlet with a river across the street, a nearby sandwich shop and the Red Lion pub a stones throw away. We stayed for four nights and had bucolic walks to Grassington along the river and to the Bolton abbey for another fine walk. The Dales are magic and there are plenty of pictaresque scenes to greet. We didn’t want to leave.

Autumn mini break.

We had a lovely mini holiday in Burnsall. A place we became familiar with last year. We used it as our halfway meeting place during all the restrictions during lockdowns. With our daughter and partner last year. The cottage had everything we needed. It’s in a good location. With walks from the door. Our only complaint would be that the pillows didn’t suit us. But that is down to personal choice. Thank you.

A perfect location

We loved our stay here (2 adults and an 8 year oid). The location - right on the river, with a large green to run around on and play games - was just perfect. The house was clearly newly refurbished, so was in excellent condition, and was just perfect for all our needs. We'll definitely look to stay here again.
