Mr. Weatherington's Lake Cottage

Mr. Weatherington's Lake Cottage is a centrally located four bedroom cottage located in Sylvan Lake, with room for up to 12 people. Only a short two-minute walk to the beach and lakeshore amenities, this cozy home is great for family and friends. A spacious backyard with a gazebo, couches, and fire pit, as well as a beautifully, fully-renovated interior, this place is sure to please! And we have foosball!

There are two security cameras on the property. One at the front of the house watching the front door/yard and one on the back of the garage watching the parking pad.

Clean and well appointed. Pet friendly with fenced yard. Host was very responsive. Stayed in October so couldn't take advantage off all amenities but is in a good location one block away from the lake and would stay again.

Booking was easy as was the ability to have a pet. The property was neat and tidy outside and generally clean and well kept inside. Communications with host efficient and welcoming. No issues during the stay.

Great home and location for the family.

Stayed here during the new year and went skiing in Red Deer. It was a quick drive to the hill which was nice but located in a beautiful town.

Cabin review

Nice place, clean and cozy, lots of bed space. Nice kitchen, showers are hot and have good pressure. Walking distance to the lake and convenience stores, also some good restaurants nearby. Only negative thing IMO would be the lack of a bbq.

Great location

Enjoyed our stay here, could easily walk along the boardwalk and would be at the beach within 10-15min. Had everything we needed, though some may not find the beds/pillows the most comfortable. Hot water, clean space, lots of parking available on the street. Instructions were very clear - would only suggest making the parking in the back with the house number clearly posted to see at night. Would stay here again.the future

We have nothing but good things to say about our stay here. The only downside is that 50th Ave is quite busy so traffic can be noisy at night.

Great roomy stay, close to the beach and park

Great place to stay for easy access to the beach and park. It’s a short 10 min walk to the more sandy beach front. Kids enjoyed the foose ball table. We roasted marshmallows and meals in the fire pit. Kitchen was stocked with basics and lots of spices. The house was clean and tidy. All the window screens could use a good wash though. Ample room for 8 of us.

Outside need to be clean,

No conditioner, summer time will be very hot. No dishes to cook. Coffee maker need upgrade. But very comfortable house, great location.

The location of the property is excellent. The front entrance you can hardly get into with the overgrown trees and long grasses, the front deck was very dirty with dead pile of leaves and spider webs. The back needs some upkeep as well with overgrown trees and weeds. Inside the house was great except for the kitchen being a little limited on kitchen supplies for cooking for a larger group and not enough towels for the amount of people it accommodates so we had to wash towels everyday with people showering after the beach. The inside needs a deep clean. Spider webs in corners and on light fixtures, the kitchen screen is very dirty and the white walls could use a wash. We did enjoy our stay though as these are not end of the world problems.

Home away from Home

The home is cozy and clean. The location is perfect. It’s so close to the lake. The kitchen is well equipped. We give it a 5 star rating.

The Lake House

Enjoyed our time at the beach house everyone enjoyed the place with one exception.We all enjoyed our time spent mostly outside at the beach and the weather good had been a little cooler but it okay we were in the water was the yard was just taken over by weeds.But looking forward to doing it again for sure Richard Bonnie Jared Katie Milo and Levi thanks again until we meet again

Family Christmas Get Together

Great place for our family Christmas get together. Four adults and four kids(ranging from 7 to 3 1/2 years old) were accommodated nicely with the bunk beds being a huge hit. The place was nice and clean with everything you need.We finished the trip off by sitting around the fire pit enjoying the beautiful December night. Thanks Chris for sharing your place with us.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Girls weekend with my friends; the 4 of us hadn’t all been together for 10 Years!! We had an absolute blast! The house was perfect, we each had a bedroom and the 2nd bathroom was a bonus. We appreciated the cleanliness of the home, that’s how we all like it!

Talk about location location location wow. It's literally walking distance to the lake. The boast super clean, everybody had a bed to sleep. The beds are nice to sleep on not too soft just right. Me, my husband and my son can even image having a house like to that to stay. We Love how they renovated the place. Parking is no problem as well. The house is highly recommended
