Beachfront villa with large garden, superb views and private pool

Thanks for your kind review and nice to hear that you had a great stay! Sorry for the broken parasol - I wish you had let me know because we do have a back up. You are right about certain things needing a fix up - with the “old sheep’s hut” there’s always something to do! We have further renovations planned this winter. Hopefully next time you will see the updates yourself!

I'm sad to hear that we have had our first guests who didn't enjoy the amazing experience every other customer has had so far, and I'm not at all agreed with the above comments. La Bergerie is a very old sheep's-hut right at the beach in a big natural surrounding which we've kept in it's original, beautifully authentic state with its "simple" and family-vacation-home state (meaning there can sometimes be some wind, weather, bugs etc - and no, there's no way to stop some spider webs coming in one or two corners in such a huge place!). We have already made many renovations in the past years (which is not too easy on this island) to accommodate renters to make their stay 100% pleasant, which so far everyone confirmed, and we are still looking to improve all the time where we can. Gladly. To say that the price-quality ratio is off is not correct. We are far below the market price of comparable houses in the area (easily >$3k per week) ; we have space for up to 10 guests to stay right at the beach with a perfect view, secluded pool and enormous private space. Please find another stay close by which is more to your liking with respects to this ratio, and let me know. You reserved our house - which accommodates at least 8 and even possibly 12 in total - for only 2 people. Obviously you should understand the price reflects this and not be reduced to a stay for only a couple. This is normal. Besides that, there is a very small surcharge for pets we charge, which I didn't even ask you when you arrived unannounced with a dog, because I wanted you to feel at home. You have been very "neat" for the rest (except for a lot of dirt your dog left us to clean) and I would have loved welcoming you back - but needless to say, I unfortunately don't see that happening. Translation above review . The Bergerie is located only a few meters away from the sea and the beach, in perfect tranquility. Both buildings are connected ( patio) and allow you to take advantage of an exceptional garden with it's variety of plantation and it's size. A charming fenced pool with sea water is located at the back of the house. It's an environment of good comfort, but above all a welcoming and warm family home. The property is excellent located: at a protected sea side, close to Ajaccio ( boat and plain arrival) and pitoresque Carghese, in calmness and close to all necessities. We will be back as often as possible! I recommend this place without a doubt. Review from a third year tenant.
