Nice place.

We had a pleasant overnight stay. The beds were comfortable and tea or coffee at the ready. We sat outside later in the evening by the pool. Quick walk to downtown and Saturday morning market.

Wonderful unit

We had a great stay in La Casita. It is ideally located close to San Ignacio center and the market. It is gated, provides free parking and has a wonderful big pool. We did have some issues with hot water, leaking fridge and a broken A/C in the kitchen but the staff took care of things quickly. The kitchen has everything you can possibly need (and more) to prepare a meal. Our stay was perfect and I would highly recommend staying in La Casita for anyone visiting the Cayo region.

We had a kitchen with everything needed to cook. All the housekeeping staff was really nice. The 2 bedroom that we rented was near the pool/bar and it did get noisy until all hours of the night which got annoying every night. Locals come there for the weekend so it was pretty packed on the weekend. It was right on the edge of town. It was a great place though and worked well for us.

Midas Resort

We very much enjoyed our stay at Midas! We were a party of 8. Rented a 2 bedroom cottage, and 2 one room cabannas. Both were very comfortable with good AC. Employees were helpful and friendly. The pool is large, the area surrounding has comfortable seating and good place to relax after a day of touring around, and the pool bar was fun and reasonable. Good location to get around, will definitely stay there again.

Privacy of a house with amenities of a hotel

Cute little house with kitchen, two bedroom, bathroom and a living room. Close to the pools, restaurant, and pool side bar!! Each room have a ceiling fan and AC. Ample parking, friendly staff, good food and drinks. My only minor complaint was the bedrooms had too many beds in them. One(master) had a queen and a twin bed, the other room had three twins. The kitchen was cluttered with too many dishes and cups, almost seemed like a storage place for extra stuff. Overall very happy place for me my wife and two girls (11,13)

Great location

We spent a wonderful 3 night stay at La Casita. The rental unit is situated just a few steps away from San Ignacio center. It's part of a gated resort, it has free parking and a beautiful big pool. The 2 bedroom unit is spacious and the kitchen had all the utilities we needed and more! We did however have issues with the hot water, a leaking fridge and the A/C unit in the kitchen/living room while we were there but these issues were handled very quickly by the resort staff. I would highly recommend staying at La Casita.

“Great location! Walking distance from coffee shops, food and shopping. Note that this is one of several villas as part of the Midas resort. Drinking water is provided which was a very nice amenity. They also have an onsite restaurant with reasonable prices. Staff is helpful and has great recommendations for activities. Daily cleaning and they even wash your dishes! Note that there is not a washer/dryer in the unit but you can Pay the staff to was your clothes. Kids loved the pool and we loved how the resort has everything within a short distance. Sometimes vendors come onsite so if you are looking for souvenirs, highly recommend buying from them. Their prices seemed discounted from what we found in town.”

Stayed with a group of 5 in La Casita. Good location just 10 minute walk away from town, safe, cleaning staff were great, nice pool to use with best bartender in town (Eric) and we never went thirsty. Overall great spot as a base for day trips outside of town. Restaurant on site is a bit expensive so always went for a walk for food. Best suited for two couples or group of singles (one bedroom has a double and a single, other has three singles)

We loved our stay at Midas. We were in one of the cottages behind the hotel. It was clean and the hotel personnel were so friendly and helpful with our daily plans. The restaurant was delicious and convenient. The location is perfect for visits to the market and the town district. We would definitely chose La Casita Midas again!
