Quiet stay en Mallorca

Beautiful villa in Cala d’Or : very clean, big bedrooms, swimming pool, barbecue, close to the beach. Unfortunately there is no air conditioner and the location was à bit far away from thé center town of Cala d’Or.

Disappointments at Villa Roca Nova

8 of us stayed at the Villa Roca Nova 28 May to 4 June 2023. As advertised the villa is perfectly situated in the resort of Cala D'Or for beaches and shops - just 10 minutes walk to either. However: 1.    The literature is misleading in that two of the bedrooms are separated from the main villa by individual entrances. This proved inconvenient as only one of each key was provided and that was rightly held by those staying in that part of the building who needed to lock the door at night for the safety of their children. Those in the separated bedrooms were therefore locked out of the kitchen and lounge. 2.    The floors were grubby (even after being cleaned) and mould in a shower room could be rubbed off with your finger. 3. The kitchen lacked cutlery and sufficient crockery for 8 occupants. Fridge had clearly been turned on just before our arrival and didn't get to proper operating temperature until Day 4 of our stay. On Day 3 we found a large cockroach in the kitchen which was on the work surface. The Toaster didn't work from Day 1 and the cleaners arranged a replacement on Day 5 of our stay. The bedroom linen and towels were grey, rather than white, and the towels in particular, were very worn and of poor quality.  4. The mattresses on the beds were hard and uncomfortable with one member of the party suffering very badly with the result he slept one night on the couch. 5.The smoke alarm in the balcony bedroom was missing and found in drawer with dead battery.

Lovely villa just right for a family

We really enjoyed our stay - perfect for a family get together. The pool was perfect and the outside space was great for socialising. Cala Egos is a nice small town and there is a regular bus into Cala D'or - we found it hard work getting taxis. The only small downside is there is no aircon in the bedrooms. Would stay again.

Fabulous!!! The villa is in an excellent location for the amenities. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped. Although it is so close to shops, bars it is blissfully peaceful, only the birds to listen to, just great. The pool is fantastic, really enjoyed floating around the pool reading my book. I will definitely recommend to everybody, I already have!!! I and my family will definitely be returning.

We used Cala Dor as a base for our holiday, which was also our first visit to Mallorca, visiting beaches in the south of the island and, later during our stay, doing some short hikes in the north-west of the island (which can be reached within 90 minutes, cyclists permitting!). Villa Roca Nova is very comfortable and appears to have been updated since the photographs presented on the (HomeAway) website were taken. This is particularly true for the kitchen and the living room furniture. Although the pool (not heated) was not quite ready for use in mid/late April, Im sure that it would be great in the summer months. The kitchen is fully-equipped for those who like to eat at home and the barbecue provides a handy alternative. Bars, restaurants and a small supermarket can be found within walking distance (we didnt spot the bar 50 metres away though!).

We enjoyed very much staying at this beautiful villa! It has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. An external staircase leads to the fourth room, a twin bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a bath and access to the upper sun-terrace overlooking the pool. There were only 5 of us and we used the bedrooms only. The house is absolutely beautiful! It has swimming pool and a nice patio where we had breakfast and dinner when we didnt feel like going out. The kitchen is well equipped. It has all the tools necessary to cooking and eating. The villa is within 10 minutes walking distance from the beach. There are stores within walking distance in case you need any supplies. The view from the terrace upstairs is absolutely beautiful! You can see the mountains and some of the ocean. We had a wonderful time!

I cant say enough about Villa Roca Nova and its location. My family recently returned home from the property and had the best time! The villa and Cala D Or were perfect for my family. We loved alternating days between exploring different beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. There are many excellent beaches near and around the marina is a huge selection of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. There are also great restaurants, bars, and a supermarket within a few minutes walk from the villa and the sea is only three minutes walk away. Cala D Or is very charming and clean and ideal for a family. The villa had everything we needed. I havent felt so relaxed and connected to a place in a long time. The villa was spotless on arrival and extremely cozy. The beds were nice and we all had a good nights rest. Working with Agni Travel was also great as they were also a quick phone call away to answer any questions. Overall, highly recommended. You are sure to be satisfied and relaxed during a stay in this villa.

The property was within walking distance of the beach and restaurant. Lovely walk along the promenade and great restaurants around the Marina. If you want a beach holiday, everything you need is here, but if you have a car youre within easy reach of many other resorts to the north and south of the island. Agni was perfect. We couldnt have asked for a higher level of service. From the booking through the end of our vacation, everything went flawlessly. I would highly recommend this property, and I would most certainly return again.

The location fully met our expectations to where we could do day-trips with ease and still have time to take advantage of the private pool and more local things to do. We had a great time there and were every day amazed by how lovely places Cala D Or, Pollensa, and Alcudia are. The villa is spotless, has more than everything you need, wonderful grounds, pool everything! Very satisfied that we booked this villa for our current holiday destination and we definitely book it again for the next year.
