Stroll to the dunes, across the Marram grasses, and onto the beach. When you can tear yourself away from the stunning Norfolk coastline, it’s time to enjoy all of the luxuries this gorgeous getaway has to offer. This property combines all the convenience of a stunning modern home with the charm of a seaside cottage.

The property is a mix of stunning modern luxury and charming seaside cottage, with all the mod cons you might need to make your stay incredible. That's not to mention the very secure back garden, outdoor lounge set and private 5 person hot tub, covered by a lit pergola.

On Arrival
There is parking for one car on the brick weave driveway right next to the house and a small shingle front garden area with driftwood features. From your car, you can either go through the side gate straight into the enclosed back garden or via the front door. There is also an electric EV charger on the driveway, for use with prior consent.
Hallway
Dogs are welcome upstairs, but we’ve fitted a bespoke hand made dog/child gate that will stop even the tiniest of chihuahuas from making it to the bed if you want it to yourself!

Downstairs Cloakroom
Handy downstairs loo, with toilet, basin, towel rail, and side window.

Kitchen
Lovely size, very light and airy with a view over the front courtyard, equipped with a full-sized fridge/freezer, induction hob, electric oven, washing machine/ tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, fancy bean-to-cup coffee maker, sandwich toaster and enough pots and pans, baking trays, cocktails shakers, utensils and crockery to open a small kitchenware shop!

Dining Area
Part of an L-shaped Lounge/diner this area has a rather special zinc-topped dining table and leather chairs/bench with space for 4 to eat or play board games in comfort.

Lounge
The lounge area comprises a large & comfy chaise-end leather sofa and quirky copper coffee table (perfect for putting your feet up). There’s a 50″ Samsung Smart TV with an adjustable wall bracket that gives you the option to angle it to watch TV from the dining area. There’s a Dimplex Sunningdale electric stove, considered to be the world’s most realistic electric wood burner. It even makes crackling noises! You can have a cosy fire without the heat in summer, and in winter you don’t need to go out in the rain for logs! It’s also much safer for children and dogs. Patio doors lead out to the garden and hot tub.

Family Bathroom
Upstairs, this has a large modern bath with shower over and glass screen, a toilet and sink with storage unit, heated towel rail, and Velux window.

Bedroom 1
Pocket sprung super kingsize bed (180 x 190cm) which can be converted into 2 singles, large wardrobe with plenty of hangers and drawer space below, front-facing window with blinds. Blanket ladder and extra throws/blankets, radio alarm with a phone charger, and quirky lobsterpot lights. Mirror, hairdryer, fan & suitcase stand.

Bedroom 2
Double bed with Simba Hybrid pro mattress and luxury topper, built-in storage cupboard with hanging space and shelves, Velux windows with blackout blinds. Bedside lighting and shelf with radio-alarm. Tower fan and hairdryer, additional blankets/throws, and suitcase stand.

Garden
Fully enclosed garden with 6ft fencing all around, comfy patio furniture on the decking, BBQ, outside lighting, fairy lights, and a pergola featuring solar-powered twinkly LED lights. Hot and cold garden shower.

Hot Tub
Gorgeous bespoke enclosure with fairy lights, housing a very private 5 person hot tub. Hanging hooks for the Heidi Corner hooded robes, and easy to reach shelves

Little Gem

This was a lovely Cottage, loads of great features, everything for the dogs provided. Great Hot Tub in the garden. Comfy bed, good shower. Decor is charming. Location was great. Nice touches like the robes provided. Would definitely stay here again.

A perfect dog destination

Many places say they are dog friendly, few are that and dog secure!! Heidi Corner is perfect for humans and dogs. The location is amazing, just 5 minutes over the dunes to long stretches of sandy beaches. There is so more to explore beyond Winterton but there is a proper home to come back to after a day’s adventures. Everywhere is tailored to cater for dogs too so you can be relaxed about including them in your daily plans. It’s such a lovely place to stay I book for the next visit before I’ve left!!

Fabulous place

Lovely Winterton cottage

We recently stayed at Heidi Corner, a really lovely little cottage in an excellent location for exploring and coming home to. The cottage was super dog friendly and made the holiday a real pleasure for myself, husband and pup!! If the dog’s happy we are to!! Would definitely recommend

A perfect retreat with your dogs

So many places are dog friendly but very few are dog secure. Heidi Corner is just that. The cottage is so pretty and so beautifully maintained. The facilities are faultless and the care taken to offer the best to their guests is so wonderful. There is so much to do in the area and the wider county, a week didn’t scratch the surface. We can’t wait to go back. It’s an absolute gem.

Heaven is a place on earth!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was lovely, comfortably furnished and the perfect spot for a beach holiday. A stones throw from the dunes. If heaven was a place on earth this beach would be it. Absolutely stunning beach. Will be back for sure but probably to a bigger property as there quite likely will be more of us. A wonderful few days away.

3rd visit and disappointed

This was our 3rd visit to Heidi's and we left disappointed. Firstly the new coffee machine was full of mouldy coffee grounds not a pleasant sight. No doggy treats or poo bags left for us, which was sad for our poor Bella. The sofa is really worn and almost collapsing at one side, lifting the cushions we found a mountain of sand.the furniture does need updating. The hottub which we love wasnt warm enough on our first day but we did use it later that week. Upon returning home both of us developed a rash and after visiting the dr,s they did suggest it could be due to a poorly maintained hottub but we cannot comment on that. Bella our border collie did really enjoy the stay and with the perfect location for her beingso close to the dunes/beach. Previous visits had left us keen to return but I,m afraid we did not feel that this time. The place does need a refresh and new sofa, the cleaners need to be more thorough and maybe better hottub maintenance? We also noted the garden furniture was unfit for use and needs replacing too.

New year stay

My daughter found this booking for us and what a little gem she found. The house was beautiful it has everything you could think of and more. The beds were comfy it was like home from home. This home has got to be the best dog-friendly place we have stayed in, it was immaculate. We loved the dog tags on the collar with the address on such a brilliant idea in case your pet gets lost. Also, the welcome pack was lovely. We will definitely be returning later on in the year. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Perfect location for dunes and beach - would highly recommend!

This is a lovely little house in a perfect location for walks on the dunes and beach. It literally takes 2 minutes to the dunes, our dogs had the best time! They also loved the really comfy dog beds provided! The house has everything you need, the kitchen is particularly good compared to other holiday cottages we’ve stayed in. The hot tub is really private and being covered means you can enjoy it even in bad weather. The welcome basket for people and dogs was also lovely and generous. A few things to bear in mind when booking. Because the house is right in the village and surrounded by neighbours (several of whom had barky dogs!) it may not suit people with reactive dogs or who like to be able to sit out in the garden in quiet. The upstairs is small with limited room for clothes storage so definitely better suited to a couple (or with a small child) than perhaps 2 couples or bigger kids! Finally, the check in time was 4.30 and checkout 9am which seemed quite late/early compared to other places we’ve stayed, and you have to strip the beds etc in the morning so it’s not the most relaxing final morning. We had a great time, and as the location was so perfect, we will definitely be back!

A home away from home at Heidi Corner

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heidi corner. As a young family with a toddler and a big puppy we felt very comfortable all week and the location is superb! With the beach only minutes away we had some lovely walks right on our doorstep. The fish and chips shop in Winterton is also fantastic and well worth the wait (we ate there twice in our week stay!). Puppy couldn’t have asked for more and was so well catered to which meant we didn’t have to travel with his crate, bed and food bowls etc. - big bonus! The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and washer/dryer which all come in very handy. The welcome pack was also superb, truly making it feel like a home-from-home. The hot tub is a wonderful treat and needed after the long walks and busy days! Every where was spotless when we arrived, the beds are very comfy and the whole house is decorated to an exceptional standard but still very cosy. The contemporary touches all around such as the Bombay Sapphire lights in the living room add a lovely unique touch, making it such a cosy yet cool and quirky place to be. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Heidi corner and will most certainly be back soon!

Beautiful cottage perfect location

This was our second visit to this lovely little cottage because we loved it so much the previous year. We love the location, it’s perfect for miles of gorgeous dog walking on the beach, dunes or surrounding countryside. The hot tub is a great addition, tucked away in a lovely little private space in the garden. The accommodation has everything you could need for a comfortable stay

Much needed break

We loved Heidi Corner, spotlessly clean, every comfort thought about and supplied, lovely furnishings, perfect spot…….. only wish we could have stayed longer…… Karen was very helpful when we had queries, would definitely go again and use East Coast Hideaways….. so glad I found them.

Blissful few days

Couldn't fault Heidi Corner. Spotlessly clean and cosy. Very well furnished. Lovely to be able to open the back door and not worry about loosing the dog. Very secure. Great for dog walking too. Had a lovely relaxing time. Would recommend.
