Beautiful Cozy Brand New Beach House

Welcome to Sunset Bay! We want our beautiful cozy home to feel welcoming and most importantly feel like a 'home away from home'. We accommodate a family or families of 8 or less. We have a beautiful view of the bay and a 3 minute walk to the clean private beach, vehicle access with in 2 minute drive. We have amazing restaurants, convenience stores, and rental entertainment within a few minutes. Coffee maker for freshly brewed morning coffee. Each room has a TV with DVD, Blue-ray player, DirectTv, and WiFi INTERNET NOW included!!!. Fully furnished with 2 Queen size beds and multiple beds to accommodate everyone comfortably. House includes new washer and dryer and outdoor shower to rinse off sand and salt :) Family pets are welcomed under 40 lbs. Outdoor patio furniture, kid inflatable pool with electric pump, new grill (with propane tank included), and fully enclosed with picket fence for the kids to enjoy! Great fishing on the beach or on the multiple beautiful bays. Sargen (East Matagorda Bay - great fishing)) 30 min away, Galveston also only 30 min away. (reg.# 10042)

We had a wonderful stay! The host was excellent and very responsive, with great communication throughout our entire stay. The house is conveniently located close to the beach, reasonably priced, and very well equipped with appliances, kitchenware, and everything needed for a comfortable weekend with family. We truly enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend this place to others. We would happily stay here again!

We had an amazing stay in Surfside. The listing is a little outdated but we still loved the house. It was ver quaint and within walking distance of the beach. I recommend bringing your own drinking water but otherwise the house is well stocked for emergencies and has basic necessities.Would stay again if in surfside!

We had a great time staying at this property and enjoyed celebrating my birthday and spending quality time together as a family. The home is decorated very cute with a beachy feel, and the pictures accurately reflect the decor and overall look of the house.There were a few issues during our stay that are worth mentioning. When we arrived, we had to contact the owner to gain access because there was some confusion about our arrival date, as she thought we were coming the following day. The sheets on all of the beds also had noticeable stains, which was disappointing.The remotes for the TVs in the bedrooms did not work with either the TVs or the Fire Sticks. We ended up having to download the Fire Stick remote app on our phones in order to use them. The toilet seat on the main floor was also broken and needs to be replaced.The property is close to the beach, which was convenient, but you do have to cross a highly traveled road to get there. Based on the pictures, we initially thought the beach was closer than it actually felt.Overall, despite these issues, we had a wonderful time because our main goal was to celebrate my birthday and enjoy time together as a family. With a few improvements, better maintenance, and clearer communication regarding check-in, this property could be an even better place to stay.

We loved our stay there but the only thing I was disappointed about was in the picture it looks like you can see the beach from the house. The house was just big enough for our family. The owner allowed me to check in early. She was very accommodating

Great little stay by the beach

The home was a great layout and in good repair. Great little house for the week! No hand soap. Also it is a short walk to the beach but just know that it is on the west side of the main highway so you have to cross that to get to the beach.

Moms and daughters weekend

We had 4 moms and 3 teenage girls staying in the house and the layout of the house made it so fun. The house is super cute and it looked like it was recently updated. The girls were able to all sleep in the bunk bed room together and the location is walkable to the beach. We definitely made some lasting memories that weekend and in the house.

I grew up in Freeport and graduated from Brazosport high school in 2000, I attended Sam Houston and graduated with a bachelors in Criminal Justice, I always wanted to help people, that was and still is a passion of mine, unfortunately I wasn't able to pursue much of a career with in the criminal justice field. I did however pursue a career with in the oil and gas industry, which is how I met my Husband. He is a petroleum engineer and a UT graduate. We have two kids now and life as parents is definitely a challenge, and it can be overwhelming at times. Since I'm a beach girl, I convinced my husband to buy a beach house for our sanity! We couldn't find the one house that felt like home, until we walked into our little beach/bay house. We instantly knew that this house would become our little vacation home. Since our lives and jobs are located in Houston, our main home remains there, we live in Spring now, but having a vacation home for our growing family is definitely a blessing for us. Since this place has already brought us so many happy memories, we would like to share our home with other families so they can also have the opportunity to create happy memories themselves. :)
