Apartment in the historical center of Carciano di Stresa, peaceful location, green area. The house has spacious rooms, the bathroom has been completely renovated this year, balcony equipped for lunch and to relax, windows with a partial view of the lake. There is also a garden with a gazebo where you can eat or spend some relaxing moments. 50 meters from a restaurant-pizzeria and bar. 600 meters from Lido area, where start the boat to visit the Islands.
5 Sleeps. The house is composed as follows:
- spacious bathroom, completely renovated, with wc, washbasin, bidet, shower, washing machine and hair dryer
- spacious bedroom with master bed and one single bed (possibility to add another single bed and/or a baby coat)
- large living room with double sofa bed, satellit tv and partial view of the lake
- kitchen well equipped with kitchenware, pots, fridge, induction cooker, microwave, kettle, american coffe machine and toaster. From the kithcen you can access the balcony
-equipped balcony with table and chairs, to spend relaxing moments and to enjoy your meals
- storage room, iron and iron board
Free wifi.
Possibility to have baby cot and baby chair.
The guests can use the garden where there is a gazebo with table and chairs suitable to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The garden is equipped with toys for children. Possibility to ask for the barbecue.
At the arrival we'll ask the stay tax for the municipality of Stresa, € 1,00 per person per day. Children under 6 years don't pay.
We'll also ask your ID or passports.

Comfortable, clean, spacious apartment with all the amenities. Great location within walking distance of the train station, town center, and lake promenade. Very friendly and helpful hosts - provided drive to and from the train station and offered additional transportation. Stresa is a beautiful, peaceful setting for a vacation.

The apartment is very spacious with a balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. The balcony is suitable for 2 people and we loved being able to sit outside after a day walking/sightseeing. If there's more than 2 people occupying the apartment the garden is a great place to sit/relax or play if there's children.. The bedroom has a lovely king-size bed with a great firm mattress. We self-catered mostly and found the kitchen ok with a good sized fridge plus freezer compartment. The bathroom looks as if it's been recently renovated and is lovely.

great location at Lago Maggiore

Me and my elderly parents spent great holidays in Carciano - Stresa. Mostly thanks to Mr. Giuseppe Paracchini and his wonderful family. The description of the appartment, its location, layout and facilities were accurate and we found this place very comfortable, clean and cosy. The owner prepared a lot of the information and every time he and his family were ready to help. I would definetly recommend this place to other tourists.

Relaxing time

Our host was very helpful. She was there to greet us when we arrived. She showed us how things worked. She went over boat time tables and things to see in the area. It was a nice roomy apartment ; we enjoyed our time in Stresa. A nice place to unwind and get away from the crowds

Comfortable apartment in Carciano

Guiseppe & his daughter were very welcoming and the apartment was well equipped. It was well located for the Lido ferries & the cable car. The walk up to the apartment could be quite challenging for anyone with a low level of fitness. It is quite steep in places. we had a lovely stay.

The apartment is neat, clean and very well stocked. Location is quiet and tucked away in a nice neighborhood about a lovely ten-minute walk away Stresa. An excellent little grocery is a block away and there's a wonderful restaurant right down the street. All in all a very good experience. Giuseppe and his daughter were helpful and attentive. We were picked up at the train station and taken to the apartment.

Quiet and spacious apartment, a good base for visiting Stresa and the islands

We received a warm welcome with Giuseppe meeting us at the station and driving us on a tour of Stresa. At the end of our stay he also kindly drove us down to the bus stop for the Alibus to Malpensa airport. So we had no need to carry our luggage and we did not hire a car, though, if we had, parking was free nearby. There was an excellent shop 3 minutes' walk away, open every day, serving bread, charcuterie and cheeses, as well as other basic groceries. Five minutes away there was also a friendly restaurant and bar at the Centro Sportivo, La Cascina, where we ate very well. To reach the Lido with access to the boats took us 20 minutes walking( downhill ), whilst a useful bus stop for other lakeside towns, and for Lake Orta was about 15 minutes. So we had easy access to transport and amenities whilst being away from the bustle of Stresa. The entrance hall to the building is elegant, large and secure. The apartment was very spacious, clean and beautifully furnished with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We used the balcony off the kitchen for our breakfasts and many evening meals. It had a very pleasant outlook over the garden, which was also available to us.. Fiamma joined her father to show us all the tourist information provided and offer advice. Our delightful hosts were available throughout the holiday should we need anything.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen

Wir haben uns in dieser Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben nichts vermisst und sehr gerne auf dem Balkon gefrühstückt und abends dort ein Glas Wein getrunken- mit Blick in den Garten. Zu empfehlen!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit am Lago und in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sauber, sehr groß, ein schön renoviertes Bad und hat einen schnuckeliger Balkon, auf welchem wir jeden Morgen unser Frühstück genossen haben. Am Abend liegt der Balkon im Schatten und läd zum Verweilen, Karten spielen oder sonstigem ein. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und bemüht. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit hier am Lago Maggiore und in der Wohnung

Parfait pour un séjour au calme

Joli appartement, très grand et bien équipé, salle de bain neuve, dans un quartier calme à 20 minutes à pied du centre, avec vue sur le lac. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces quelques jours! Giuseppe et sa fille sont des hôtes extrêmement accueillants - nous reviendrons!

Emplacement idéal pour découvrir le Lac Majeur

Logement très confortable, et spacieux, très bien situé pour découvrir les rives du Lac Majeur, les îles Borromées et les villages pittoresques qui bordent le lac. Proche du centre de Stresa et de ses commodités, et de l'embarcadère de Carciano. Idéal ! Et un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leurs conseils sur les visites à effectuer. Peaceful lake interlude

What a lovely property. Really helpful owners who live next door. A bit of a walk to the train station and the main part of Stresa but beautiful to sit out on the balcony in the evening looking at the garden.

Hier handelt es sich um eine geräumige Ferienwohnung mit einem sehr freundlichen Gastgeber. Wohnung ist fussläufig vom Lago Maggiore entfernt.

The apartments are in the house where we live, in the other ones live also our daughters with their family.
I personally did the restructuring of all the whole house some years ago, because I built several villas during my life as work.
The whole house was built by my father in law, in the 1943, by a famous architect from Milan, and it is characterized by huge pink granite blocks, unique in their typology.
The place is very quiet and the garden is luxuriant, especially in the spring.
We are present in the house for all the guest needs during their holiday.

My father in law lived in Milan, where he had a sewing firm, he built this house because he loved very much to come to Stresa to spend his holiday, with his family.
He was a lake lover, and a very sportsman, so Stresa was the perfect place for him, and not far from Milan.
The view is incredible and the tranquillity is the first quality of this place.

The apartments are also fully equipted with all the necessary, including Satellite Television, and the rooms are very spacious, with very big windows.
Air conditionig is not necessary, because in summer in the apartments there are not too hot.
