Beautiful rural setting for a peaceful holiday

We loved our week at Sophie and Lionel's property. The setting is beautiful, and the rooms large and thoughtfully decorated. We prepared several meals with ease, and also enjoyed the local restaurant in Saint Victor, which was excellent. We very much enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Everything was very clean and met our needs. We would definitely come to stay again.

Lovely gite in a beautiful part of the Dordogne

The gite is exactly as shown on the website - very stylish with a lovely garden and pool. The kitchen was modern and worked well. Could have done with a few more ovenproof dishes though. Sophie and Lionel were perfect hosts - there if you needed but never intrusive. The local restaurant/bar a short walk away is fantastic- really excellent food with good beer and Bergerac wine. Supermarkets a short drive away and some beautiful towns and villages nearby. The countryside around the gite is wonderful and great for dog walking. Good WiFi . Perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

Everything we could want

The gite was as described and beautifully presented. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything required, a home from home. The garden is just as the picture shows, a lovely private space for your gite, with a dining area, seating area and the pool, with a gas barbecue and a traditional barbecue, so take your pick! We had fortunately picked up some provisions before arriving, the pantry was a little bare for breakfast the following morning; that aside I would whole heartedly recommend Sur le Chemin des Figuiers gite for a stay, whether it be for 2 people or 8 people. Verträumtes Örtchen zum entspannen

Wir waren waren mit unserem Hund und unserem 3 jährigen Sohn für 2 Wochen zu Gast bei Familie Nadal. Der Empfang war herzlich und sehr unkompliziert! Unser Sohn hat sich in den Esel ( Gringo) und deren Hund Toska verliebt. Die Umgebung bietet viele tolle Möglichkeiten und bei zu hohen Temperaturen konnte man sich wunderbar in dem schönen Haus und dem Pool abkühlen. Der Ausblick abends war sehr schön und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen! Lieben Dank für alles und wir können es nur von ganzem Herzen empfehlen! Familie Dehn

Gite pour se ressourcer

Un gite confortable, sans chichi mais avec tout ce qu’il faut (à part peut être un wc à l’étage), de belles chambres, un jardin charmant avec une piscine bien appréciable. Les propriétaires sont aimables et discrets. La localisation est calme dans une très jolie région, la vallée de la Dronne, avec quelques visites en perspective et de belles marches💖

Trés bon séjour

Gîte très agréable et au calme, nous avons apprécié la piscine surtout la multitude de chemins de randos à proximité immédiate ! Dommage la météo ne nous a pas été favorable.

Un excellent séjour à Saint Victor

On a passé un très bon séjour à Saint Victor. La maison, le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques!!! Lionel était vraiment serviable et les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié les animaux. Nous voudrions retourner!

Batterijen opladen in de Dordogne

We wilden een tot-rust-komen vakantie en dat hebben we gekregen. Niet dat we bang zijn van mensen, maar t was wel fijn dat we niemand hebben gezien tijdens ons verblijf. Het contact bleef beperkt tot enkele noodzakelijke berichten. De fles wijn en versnaperingen als welkom werden ten zeerste geapprecieerd. Het bed was ruim groot(in tegenstelling met wat in de brochure stond) Heerlijk verblijf.

Nous sommes contents que notre maison vous ai plus. Pour les lits en effet ils sont plus larges que ce qu'il y a de préciser (160x200) mais le site ne propose pas cette taille de lit. Au plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau !

Nous avons séjourné dans un joli gîte rénové . Le nombre de chambres et leur dimension sont appréciables , il manquerait juste une salle d eau à l étage . Nous avons pu sillonné les environnements avec des distances correctes . La pièce de vie est également agréable pour une vie de famille .

Du calme a la campagne

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette belle maison, joliment aménagée, qui permet de profiter pleinement du calme environnant et de la campagne aux alentours. Les espaces extérieurs sont très agréables, et la piscine très appréciable, même en arrière-saison. Sophie et Lionel sont extrêmement sympathiques et réactifs, mais restent très discrets - ils sont là uniquement si vous avez besoin d'eux. Nous recommandons sans hésitation !

le gite etait propre,lumineux et bien situe.

Le Gite etait charmant et propre et spacieux .Dans un bon emplacement por aller a pied au charmant retaurant de St Victor et pour faire du velo. Nous avion L'intention de rester pendant une semaine mais nous avons prolonge notre temps car c'etait tellement agreable. Nos hostas Sophie and Lionel et tres sympathetiques et serviables.

Thanks for a wonderful week in beautiful french countryside. Lovely restored gite with a typical rustic French feel. Very clean with spacious bedrooms. Sophie and Lionel were very friendly and helpful and also relaxed about arranging late access when we got delayed on the way. Lovely surrounding area with lots of nice places and things to do within easy reach. You won't be dissapointed if you are after a break where you can get away from it all in France. The pool is perfectly adequate for family fun. The improvements that I feel would improve it even more are an extra comfy seat / chair in the main room (so 6 can be seated in the evening) and a canopy area in the garden (we had amazing weather so wouldn't have needed it) The single toilet and shower takes a bit of organising with 6 but it didn't detract from the stay. Very satisfied!

Beau séjour !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Saint-Victor, en dépit du mauvais temps. Votre gîte est un agréable cocon dans lequel nous avons apprécié les fêtes de fin d'année. Confortable, simplement mais joliment décoré, un havre de paix alors que le vent et la pluie faisaient rage à l'extérieur... Nous vous remercions sincèrement pour votre accueil chaleureux et votre disponibilité. PS: Quelques portemanteaux supplémentaires seraient utiles au rez-de-chaussée.

Très agréable séjour!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison bien équipée et joliment décorée, chambres spacieuses.Salon, salle à manger un peu petit mais la plupart du séjour, nous mangions dans le jardin, à l'ombre des figuiers au bord de la piscine!! Très bel endroit, calme et reposant. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et accueillants. Je recommande ce lieu pour de très belles vacances en famille ou entre amis!

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in St. Victor sehr genossen. Ein gemütliches Haus mit liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Vom Garten aus hat man einen tollen Blick in die Landschaft. Pool und Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan, sie sind sehr diskret, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

séjour très agréable

Nous avons trouvé le gîte conforme aux photos!! Après un accueil très aimable ,Mr Nadal nous a présenté son gîte: grandes chambres fraîches (lits prêts!! ), jardin spacieux, piscine protégée, séjour agréable, cuisine un peu petite mais on s'y est vite adaptés!! Mr Nadal nous a conseillés pour la découverte de la région: ce qui était un des buts de nos vacances. Nous avons goûté les produits du potager et de la basse- cour!!Nous avons même participé à la fête du village où le seul restaurant est non seulement bon, mais très convivial!! Bref, séjour tout à fait satisfaisant qui correspondait à nos attentes! A recommander sans aucun problème!!Merci encore !!!

charmant gite

Gîte conforme à la description. Maison ancienne redecorée au goût du jour, propre et bien équipée. Jardin agréable sous les figuiers avec piscine. Les propriétaires vivent juste à côté mais sont discrets et disponibles. Une bouteille de vin nous a été offerte à l'arrivée. Petit bémol les lits ne sont pas fait pour les grands car pieds de lit. De plus la salle de bain (petite) et les toilettes sont situés en bas donc pas très pratique. Cela reste un beau gîte à la campagne et au calme.

We have completely renovated it in 2013 and it was awarded 3 stars by the department's tourist committee.
