The wee beastie house is one of my favourite stays of all time. The views, the bedrooms with ensuites, the well stocked kitchen, the yoga mats and a great host make this a top place to stay. Highly recommend and would come back in a heart beat. If you have the opportunity book it!

10/10. A Cape Breton Island gem!

We had an amazing stay at Barbara's place. The house was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a larger group, with plenty of room to relax, cook, and enjoy meals together. The views of the surrounding nature were breathtaking, and the location was ideal for exploring all the beauty Cape Breton Island has to offer. Barbara was thoughtful and responsive, making sure everything was just right. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommended!

What an amazing property! This house was perfect, with large spacious bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. The entire place was clean and well-equipped with plenty of towels, bedding, toiletries and a fully stocked kitchen. The host, Barbara, was easy to reach and so nice. Plenty of parking and wonderful outdoor spaces. The location couldn’t have been better, with easy access to Inverness. We will definitely stay here again!

Property was as described . The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. Our host Barb was very responsive to our questions. Would highly recommend this place if you have a large group. We were 8 golfers and the 3 Cabot course’s are down the road and you are also close to the beach.

Golfing Ladies from the South and California

This was an awesome house for our group of eight golfing ladies. The house is super clean with all the necessities! Spacious is the word to describe our kitchen, common areas, bedrooms and the wrap around porch. Pantry and refrigerator had the basics to start our trip. Convient to the Cabot courses and other nearby golf courses. Perhaps the ultimate is a wonderful host who was attentive to our specific requests. 5 stars and then some! Thanks for a great week!

Beautiful property!

This large property was perfect for our sibling reunion (group of 7). Loved the number of bedrooms to choose from, each with their own ensuite. Linens and beds were lovely. The common living spaces were wonderful including great wrap-around porch seating. Lots of extras provided in the kitchen, fridge and walk-in pantry including ample dishes and glassware. Ocean Views are seen from the second level bedroom windows. The basement level sleeps 4 in one room. The remainder of the basement appears to be in the process of updates. Would highly recommend this property. Our hostess Barbara, was lovely and very accommodating, and helpful. Would stay here again.
