Cosy and spacious one bedroomed Cotswold stone cottage set over three floors with garden and beautiful valley views, right on the Cotswold Way. Set in a picturesque hamlet with amazing walking on the doorstep and an easy walk into Wotton-under-Edge where you will find unique shops, great restaurants and pubs, cinema, swimming pool and beautiful buildings.
Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, log burner for cold winter nights and BBQ for hot summer evenings in the garden.
Stunning location with hills and valleys and easy access to nearby Cities of Bath, Bristol, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon and close to many Cotswold Towns - Stroud, Tetbury, Cirencester, Chipping Sodbury to name but a few. Also close to Castle Combe (dubbed The Prettiest Village in England) and within an hours drive iconic Cotswold attractions such as Bibury, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water.

A beautiful property to stay at. Spotlessly clean, there was a lovely welcome hamper waiting for us, shower is amazing and the log burner makes the cottage even more cosy. The kitchen is well equipped too. Cottage is located in a lovely peaceful area. Hosts Arwen and Russ are fantastic and go above and beyond. Definitely worth a stay, would highly recommend.

Peaceful Cottage

We found this cottage to be very clean and cozy. It has delightful "old world charm" and is well kept. The neighbors were very friendly and the local town can be reached with a pretty walking path without need for a car. We would have no problem recommending this cottage to anyone! Jim and Cathy

Lovely Stay In a Quiet Corner of the Cotswolds

When I arrived, I felt welcome at Coombe Cottage. The hosts’ attention to details was excellent- from the welcome basket to the amenities of the cottage. The garden was lovely to relax in after a day of sightseeing. The path to town expertly described by the host directed me on a lovely walk and to a charming town. There were a few road issues and the neighbors were happy to help me navigate them. I was able to get to and from the destinations that I had on my agenda. And I was so happy to return to the wee cottage in the evening for the peace and beauty of its environs.

Perfect Cotswolds Holidays

We had a perfect ten day stay in this cosy and tiny cottage in the beautiful Cotswolds with friendly neighbours. We received a generous welcome package from our landlords. We immediately felt at home in this cosy cottage which is perfectly equipped and furnished with a modern bathroom and kitchen. Bed is very comfortable and access to a tiny little garden with a lovely view to the valley is given, too. You could park your car in front of the house. Wotton-under-Edge is in walking distance with small shops, restaurants and pubs. From the cottage you could easily reach the beautiful villages in the Cotswolds; Bath, Bristol and Oxford are not far away. Walks in the countryside are possible, too. We would like to come back one day.

Pretty and welcoming cottage

Beautifully presented cottage that was fully equipped - everything had been thought of such as bathrobes, a lovely, generous hamper, very good quality toiletries, milk, coffee, tea, even cereals. Great information provided, including walks in to Wotton and further afield. Spent many an hour, sitting in the peaceful back garden admiring the views (and watching the alpacas!). Hosts responded almost immediately to any questions, both during the booking process and after. Just a short walk to Wotton, a pretty village with a variety of shops, pubs, etc and where you can easily pick up a bus if you don't fancy driving. Highly recommended cottage!

Lovely location, beautiful views from the garden. Every facility you would need. Fixtures and fittings to the highest standard. Immaculately clean. Quality shower gel etc and a lovely welcoming hamper of wine, biscuits etc. Cannot fault it. Would stay again.

Why they chose this property

Coombe Cottage is situated in a stunning hamlet just a short distance from the main town of Wotton-under-Edge. A friendly market town with unique shops, great pubs and restaurants with a small cinema and swimming pool as well. The cottage is right on The Cotswold Way and there is fabulous walking right from the door. It is a small, cosy cottage which has been fully refurbished. Set over three floors it feels spacious and has a lovely enclosed garden with beautiful views.

Quiet peaceful location within easy walking distance of the main town. Spiral staircase with bespoke rope bannisters. Sun trap garden for warm sunny days and log burning stove for winter evenings (logs provided).
