our stay was just what we expected- secluded cabin in the woods. check in was easy and they provided a map. we had 4 adults and 3 kids aged 7 months to 3 years. rooms were dark enough for littles to sleep and a pack n play did fit in one of the bathrooms downstairs if you need extra darkness (some sky lights in the rooms). cell service was spotty but that’s ok, just make sure to give your party the directions if they arrive after you before you get all the way to the cabin. we should have brought our own cast iron skillet but the cooking in the kitchen was fine. there is a small charcoal grill outside. we brought a small pool for the kids and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. we applied bug/tick spray but ended with 2 tick bites, a misquote bite or two and a couple spider bites. i really dislike bugs in my space but i even had a good time. remember, it is a cabin in the woods. it’s their home first and foremost so just come prepared.
