Nice condo within walking distance of the beach in a private gated facility.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. It was perfect for us and 3 children. The view from the balcony was beautiful with a few minute walk to a quiet beach. It was nice to also have the pool area nearby.

We had an excellent experience from the very first touchpoint with the owners. They send a detailed digital booklet with local recommendations and property information that's so helpful! The standout of the stay was that on the day of check in, my 3-year-old had a stomach bug and we didn't have anywhere to take him until 4 p.m. when we could get in the condo. I called the owner, and the housekeeper Coanna was willing to let us into the condo while she finished cleaning so he could rest. We were so incredibly grateful for this kindness and hospitality! The condo itself was updated and clean, and had everything we could possibly need stocked in the kitchen (even had travel size shampoo/conditioner/soap in both bathrooms. The pool and beach were very family-friendly, clean and inviting. We will be returning for our annual trip to Tybee!

This condo is exceptionally clean, has a beachy, (but not gaudy) updated decor, is comfy, and the best view on Tybee. Our host, David, absolutely thought of everything you will need to be enjoy your stay. We had one issue with the door lock which David took care of right away. We could have sat in the balcony with David’s binoculars all day the entire visit. We did, however, thoroughly enjoy exploring Tybee and Savannah. Wonderful lil vaca for me and my cousin! We will be back. Thanks, David!

We enjoyed our time! Nice touches such as a matress pad for the pull out couch and k-cups for the keurig. Owner is very responsive and kind!

This was our second stay at The Barracks and we loved it just as much as the first time. Unit #2 was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our vacation. The pool is wonderful and the property is very nicely maintained. There were many other guests staying at the property in the other units, but it was never noisy and the pool was never crowded. This is truly one of the nicest places to stay on Tybee. Highly recommend!
