The coach house is in the edge of Dartmoor, perfect to explore the 368 square miles of outstanding countryside. There are many things to do on Dartmoor including, walking, horse riding, climbing, cycling, canoeing and the local 18 hole golf course is a 5 minute drive away.
The local village, which is a short walk away - has 2 dog friendly pubs, a bakery, small convenience store and a fish and chip shop.
The market town of Tavistock is a 10 minute drive away and has a fantastic indoor market most days.
The nearest train station is in Plymouth, which is 15 miles away.
The cottage has an enclosed garden, perfect for dogs. There is a log burner and oil fired central heating, perfect for cosy nights in!

This is a truly dog friendly place, with grass underfoot in the garden and secure fencing. Dog walking routes are within walking distance. The cottage is well-equipped and catered for everything we all needed. A really enjoyable stay.

Wonderful place to stay and visit Dartmoor. Beautiful views of woodland from the windows, fully equipped kitchen and cosy sofa by the fire for a night in. Would happily come again! Very pet friendly too :)

Gorgeous cottage,fab quite location, didn't hear any cars. well equipt kitchen. Did miss a icebox in the fridge. The bed was really comfortable and the sofa was really comfy after a day's walking (could have used a couple of cushions ). Their are excellent footpaths straight out the back gate or at the bottom of the drive,Odin had the best time.and ended up a tired pup. Julie is lovely and very welcoming. Wish we'd have stayed longer.

Lovely peaceful llocation. Ideal for dogs as property has an enclosed garden and plenty of walks on the moors nearby.

We had a lovely relaxing stay with our dog Buster, he loved the fully enclosed safe garden.We didn't need to take anything as the house was fully equipped, from the kitchen to the bathroom.Julie was a great host and the little finishing touches left around for us was great ( coffee, butter, jam, cereal and milk also toiletries in the bathroom) Lovely cottage in a lovely quiet secluded area.

Quite secluded cottage very well appointed, Wi-Fi is not available but we learn to live with that for a couple of days

Cottage near the Moors

Simple relaxation

Location great, bed good, shower good. No WiFi which is rather nice when you get used to the concept. Stayed for a long weekend and were sad to leave

Lovely little cottage.

Really nice spot for a few days away. Lovely dog friendly venue. Lots of nice touches. Milk and fresh eggs from the chickens I am already planning a return visit.
