This stunning property on Spring Lake features a two-story layout with an open-plan design on the ground floor and three bedrooms upstairs. Recently refurbished, the lodge now boasts modern bathrooms, a sleek kitchen, and high-quality appliances for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Our spacious, south-facing private patio deck offers stunning direct views of the lake, creating the perfect spot for relaxation. This lodge invites you to enjoy a wide range of leisure activities right on your doorstep, all surrounded by breathtaking scenery. At the end of the day, when you return to your lodge, you’ll find all the modern amenities you would expect from a contemporary rental property, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Our small business can be as attentive or as distant as you choose. We have prepared a comprehensive guest folder with all the information we feel may be useful to you, which also provides contact details for the house managers who will be happy attend the property should the need arise. We just want your stay with us to be relaxed and hassle free.

The lodge is set within well-maintained communal gardens. The Spring Lake site includes a Brasserie bar and restaurant, a large enclosed timber play area for children, and a 10 mph speed limit for vehicles, along with CCTV for a safe and family-friendly environment. The Lakeside Brasserie is just 100 yards away and there are 3 lovely pubs in South Cerney village within walking distance. There are countless picturesque walks on your doorstep perfect for the family and your well-behaved pooch! As well as the pubs in the village, there is a Co-Op and One Stop for any essentials along with a very popular Fish & Chip shop ideal for a night in on the decking watching the sunset.

Out and about you will discover the Cotswold Water Parks is an amazing place, more than 150 lakes over an area of more than 40 miles, with a huge diversity of leisure activities available for all ages to enjoy. On the water you can hire boats, canoeing/kayaking, inflatable rides, sailing, swimming, wake-boarding, windsurfing and water-skiing. On land there is angling, archery, fabulous bird-watching opportunities, cycling routes, walking routes, horse riding, paintballing, rally driving, golf, picnic sites and nature reserves.

The Cotswold Waterparks have great transport links by road from the North via M6/M5 and from the South, London, Bristol, Wales via the M4, from these Motorways its dual carriageway via the A417 and A419 to within 1 kilometre to our property.

By train the major Stations of Cheltenham, Gloucester, Swindon are a short commute to the property with Kemble Station only 10 minutes by car.

Railway: Kemble: 4 miles, Swindon: 11 miles

By car (recommended):

From M4 or the South - Leave the M4 at Junction 15 (Swindon) and head North on the A419 for about 14 miles. Take the B4696 signposted Ashton Keynes / South Cerney / Cerney wick. Take the first left at the roundabout onto the Spine Road East. Follow this for just over half a mile, passing Isis / Windrush Lakes on your right and The Four Pillars Hotel on your left. After passing Summer Lake on your left, take the next right (Station Road), signposted for South Cerney, the Lakeside and the Watermark. After a few hundred meters, take the first left into the development, when through the gates follow the road around to the right, 60 Spring Lake is about 100 meters on the left.

From the M5 or North – Leave the M5 southbound at junction 11A onto the A417. Take the third exit at the roundabout after a few miles continuing on the A417. Stay on the A417 / A419 for 15 miles passing Cirencester. Leave the A419 following signs for South Cerney and the Cotswold Water Park. Head right over the flyover and straight on at the second roundabout following signs for the Watermark and Cotswold Water Park. Follow this road (Spine Road East) for just over half a mile, passing Isis / Windrush Lakes on your right and The Four Pillars Hotel on your left. After passing Summer Lake on your left, take the next right (Station Road), signposted for South Cerney, the Lakeside and the Watermark. After a few hundred meters, take the first left into the development and turn right when through the gates. Follow the road around to the right, 60 Spring Lake is about 100 meters on the left.

Fantastic place to stay

Absolutely a beautiful spot to stay. Very easy check in process. Very quiet and if you love your water sports then this is the place to stay. Beds are comfy, place is well furnished and all the basics for our stay. Absolutely will be back if we return to the UK again.

The open-plan ground floor of the lodge features a newly fitted, modern kitchen fully equipped with high-quality appliances, including an oven and hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and microwave. It is well-stocked with everything needed for a comfortable self-catering holiday.

The spacious lounge/diner boasts a nearly full wall of double-glazed windows, offering uninterrupted views of the lake. Large patio doors lead out onto a private deck directly overlooking the water. Both indoor and outdoor living spaces comfortably accommodate up to six adults, with outdoor furniture provided for alfresco drinks and dining.

For entertainment, there’s a 50″ Smart TV with wireless internet access, perfect for streaming services like Netflix. Additionally, the lodge features an eco-friendly wood-burning pellet stove with electronic ignition, self-cleaning functions, and thermostatic temperature control for an effortlessly cosy atmosphere.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a convenient cloakroom with a WC and hand basin. Upstairs, a newly refurbished bathroom includes a large shower, bath, WC, and hand basin, offering modern comfort.

The master bedroom has a large picture window with stunning lake views, a king-size bed, and ample storage with hanging space and drawers. The second double bedroom overlooks the front of the property and offers views of the sailing lake, featuring a comfortable double bed and hanging storage, though walking space around the bed is limited. The twin bedroom also overlooks the sailing lake and includes a full-size single bed with a pull-out 3′ single bed stored underneath. The room can be set up as a large single or twin though space is more limited when used as a twin.

One allocated parking space is available close to the lodge, with additional parking nearby on a first-come, first-served basis. Bed linens, tea towels, and indoor towels are provided for the duration of your stay, and additional linen or towel changes can be arranged for an extra charge.
