Un cottage di 1500 mq situato a soli 10 minuti a sud della città rurale di pesca di Prince Edward Island di Souris. Godetevi l'ambiente privato creato dai 5 ettari circostanti di terreno familiare, ma la comodità di essere a pochi passi da una bellissima spiaggia locale. Godetevi un'alba di mattina con viste orientali e una tazza di caffè. Il grande ponte avvolgente ha un barbecue a propano e un pozzo del fuoco situato nel cortile.

Il cottage con 2 camere da letto è un layout di concetto aperto. La cucina a misura completa con un'isola di controsoffitto a blocchi da 11 metri è un punto evidente. Molti filtri di luce naturale attraversano le ampie finestre che coprono la parete sud-est. Inoltre, un sistema audio incorporato e un tavolo da biliardo creano un'atmosfera piacevole. Sentitevi liberi di collegare il tuo iPod e riprodurre i tuoi brani preferiti! La spaziosa camera da letto principale contiene un letto matrimoniale, un doppio divano estraibile e un ampio spazio armadio. La seconda camera ha una serie di letti a castello di dimensioni doppie e un letto matrimoniale. C'è anche un divano completo e un divanetto nel soggiorno. Il tavolo da pranzo 6 posti, e se più spazio è necessario, il patio all'aperto anche sedile 6. Sono inclusi Wi-Fi e TV satellitare. C'è anche una lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice. Installato di recente quest'anno, pompa di calore per fornire raffreddamento e riscaldamento.

Wonderful Stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The view was beautiful. House had everything from plenty of dishes to beach towels and an umbrella. Lots of space outside for kids to play.

Great views, great house

Kitchen is large and well equipped. Close to Souris for supplies. Can walk to a small beach on Fortune River, at low tide you can cross the rover to.Fortune Beach, at high tide it is a short drive. Fortune Beach has very few people.The owners live nearby and are very nice.

Amazing stay!!!

The property exceeded our expectations! We came for a special dinner down the road but this cottage made the whole trip. We were able to see the northern lights from the deck, we watched the sunsets and sunrises,. It truly was great experience! Would highly recommend!highlhighlymend

Exactly as advertised

We had a wonderful stay at Carmel and Boyd’s place. The home and property are exactly as advertised, with plenty of space to run around with the dog or just contemplate the meaning of life while watching the fishing boats. It was just what we were looking for, and Carmel and Boyd were excellent hosts.

Awesome stay!

We stay a little bit more than 2 weeks. The house was perfect for our needs as a family. It's definitively the most well equiped house we ever rent (the kitchen, the quantity of towels, the games for the kids...and so on). The part that we prefer was the stunning view we had. It's quiet, well located to explore the east coast of the island. Carmel and Boyd were fantastic hosts! We will definitively go back for our vacations.

Beautiful property & amazing views!

This vacation home offers everything you could possibly need. It was very modern & well kept. My family & I enjoyed eating on the deck with the beautiful ocean view behind us. The owners are very lovely to deal with & went above and beyond to welcome us to their cottage.

Quiet and private

Loved our short 3 night stay and wished we would have had more time to rest at this cottage. Location was perfect and the cottage had everything you could possibly need for an island stay, down to a beach umbrella and towels! Thanks for the buckets and shovels for clam digging!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation

Absolutely amazing spot! Perfect location just a minute walk from a beautiful beach that can be seen from the window of the beautiful cottage. Hosts were very helpful in letting us know what was around to do and eat! Also the location is nice and private as well! I wish we booked the place for longer. We will definitely be coming back to this spot someday!!! Definitely recommend

beautiful and luxurious and friendly

everything about red house is wonderful. The location, the attention to detail and comfort and the friendly and unobtrusive attitude of Carmel and Boyd. The teens in our family group were fascinated with learning to play pool at the house and happy to explore several local beaches. The adults were delighted with the fully equipped kitchen and BBQ that allowed us to indulge in the delights of “Food Island” and relieved to have the air conditioning already on when we arrived on a very hot day.

Amazing Stay

This is the best rental I've ever stayed in... it does not get better than this! The house is so well laid out, and the hosts have everything you might need (plenty of extra linens, the kitchen has every type of pot/pan you could want), plenty of seating, kids toys, books/DVDs/games... the location is breathtaking! Carmel is very responsive to messages as well. We traveled for two days to get to PEI, and this rental did not disappoint!

Brilliant view!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Carmel’s cottage! Our host was very welcoming and helpful. We mostly enjoyed our time walking on the wonderful sandy beaches in the area. Basin Head was our favourite! Due to the off season time of our holiday we had all of the beaches we visited to ourselves which was truly special! 21 Breakwater was an incredible dining experience on our last evening! Thank you Carmel and family for creating a lovely and serene getaway cottage! Valerie, Todd and Stanley 🐾

Well needed escape

This was our first time visiting PEI and we will definitely return soon. We can't review the cottage listed on VRBO due to a last minute unexpected hitch however the host was amazing and provided a cottage next door to the one we had booked, with the same awesome views and beach access. The host was very quick at replying to messages and resolved all minor issues. This host is definitely a super host!

Amazing cottage

This is an extremely well outfitted cottage with stunning views. It is located within a 15 minute drive to Souris which has all required amenities (grocery store, pharmacy, etc). Hosts provided lots of information about the rental and surrounding area and were responsive to all our inquiries. From the moment we walked in, we could tell that Carmel & Boyd wanted us to feel at home. The well manicured yard also provided lots of space for our dogs to run and play. Thank you for making our stay relaxing and memorable.

Far beyond expectations!

This was our first trip to PEI and we could not have stayed in a better place for our family of 6. We have four kids ranging in age from 8 to 16 and all the kids had a blast. Proximity to the ocean was great,especially during low tide. The pool table was a great addition as well. Basin Head Beach is about 30 minutes away and was great fun for all the kids. Hosts Boyd and Carmel seem like wonderful people and were very quick to answer questions during our stay. They even had a nice surprise for us when we arrived. Very happy with our choice of where we stayed and we would definitely come back again.

Beautiful restful spot

Our family really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights at this cottage. It was clean and supplied with everything we needed for our stay - and more - including a well equipped kitchen, beach towels, and indoor and outdoor games. Carmel was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions. The property itself is in a quiet part of the island but close enough to Souris (about 20 min drive) to get any supplies you may need, or have a meal out. If your goal is to explore the rest of the island from here, be aware that there will be 1-1.5 hours driving each way to get to the more touristy locations. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax with friends and family and enjoy the view from the deck, and/or explore nearby beaches, this is a perfect spot.

Beautiful view and so relaxing

Loved every minute. Perfect cottage. Its always exciting and nerve racking at the same time when you are approaching for the first time!! But this certainly does not disappoint. Perfect cottage at the end of the lane overlooking the cove. We arrived when Hurricane was approaching so the white caps were awesome. Very solid building… didn't even shake during the storm. We could kinda hear the wind.. thats it. Walk to the beach …lots of seaweed and we didn't walk across the sea way that blocked us from the other side of the beach, but if we took off shoes and had shorts on we could have! Cottage was FULLY stocked with everything you need for your stay. There were books, toys for kids, outdoor games and even a pool table. We loved walking up the lane and to the end of the road, some very cool cottages up the way. We went into town for supper at the Breakwater restaurant… which was a lovely location with great mussels. Carmel and Boyd have done a great job with this spot! Thanks for the wine! And thanks to your neighbour for letting us pick from their vegetable garden! So much fun.

Beautiful setting, lovely cottage

The property is beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing. The cottage has everything needed for comfort, activities, cooking, ... Hosts Carmel and Boyd are very respectful while still being available for any questions or concerns. I spent a wonderful two weeks.
