Brand New Costal Water Front Cottage with Stunning Ocean Views

This brand new space features an open concept layout with large windows and natural light that overlooks the south shore of Prince Edward Island. The large property overlooks the ocean, red cliffs and has a walking path that will lead you to the beach.

Upon entering the cottage there is a porch that opens up to the full kitchen and dining area. The kitchen features a custom space with a fridge, stove, dishwasher and island with lots of space for cooking and a seating area. The large table allows you to enjoy meals with family and friends while overlooking the water.

The living room is just off the kitchen and dining area and features vaulted ceilings with a sectional, smart TV and fireplace.

Upstairs you will find a nook seating area that overlooks the bottom level with large windows which allow stunning views of the ocean. The loft is just off the nook and includes a large area for relaxation with a couch, love seat, recliner, fireplace, TV and double doors that can be closed for noise control or privacy. The couch can be transitioned into a queen sleeper for additional sleeping space.

The cottage includes a large deck with seating area to watch the sun rise or sit at the table to enjoy a meal in the fresh ocean air.

The cottage offers walking access to a private beach and close to many other beautiful beaches. It is less than a 5 minute drive to the back beach, front beach and a 25 minute drive to the famous "Singing Sands" Basin Head Beach/Provincial Park which features a supervised beach, play area and museum.

The property is a 5 minute drive to the Inn at Bay Fortune where world renowned chef Michael Smith offers The Firework Feast, a unique four hour dining experience with local and fresh farm to table ingredients. Looking for a quicker bite, check out 21 Breakwater Restaurant.

The town of Souris is a15 minute drive away and offers two grocery stores, liquor store, a boardwalk with shops overlooking the beach and a ferry to the Magdalen Islands.

This space is perfect for a large family or two smaller families looking to get away. The cottage has been thoughtfully designed and arranged to allow family and friends to gather and relax in a tranquil environment. Of course, we know your fur babies are family too. That's why we allow them to join you on your retreat!

During our peak season when there is a 7 night minimum rental we accept reservations from Saturday - Saturday only.

Fantastic new property right on the ocean! Great sunrises with its own beach to walk. We found it close enough for essential purchase like groceries etc. if you want quiet and a serene location this is it! Highly recommend!!!

Perfect oasis

New House for Return Visitors

Our stay at this property was even better than expected. The location on the Eastern shore is breathtaking. The owners have truly tried to think of everything you might need. They were very responsive to questions before our visit. Don't be shy in asking as some things they have provided are not on the list of amenities. We love King's county and this was a great location to be surrounded by all there is to see and do. We WILL be back.

Clean and serene retreat

Stayed here with my husband and brother's family. The house was clean with plenty of supplies / nice to haves (really appreciated the thoughtful touches here, like the mosquito rings, beach reads, and kitchen appliances). We loved how cozy this property was, and the beautiful views from the huge windows- we would have loved to spend all day just curled up and reading, and watching the sunrise was amazing. Be aware that the location is pretty remote and there are lots of flies outside. Overall this was a great property!

Every detail is perfect

The owners are a pleasure to communicate with all the while making the process of checking in easy. There are many thoughtful finishes making the stay beyond cozy. We felt safe and comfortable there with our young children. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into making sure you enjoy your stay and it shows. I wish I could give it more stars.

Peaceful breathtaking views!

We absolutely loved our stay, even though it was a little cooler then we'd hoped. We enjoyed the amazing views, the wildlife, walking on the beaches during low tide and everything the cottage had to offer. The hosts have provided everything one would possibly need down to the baby and pet shampoos and night lights in every room. The folder with all the local attractions is a wonderful touch too. We loved everything about the place, our kids really enjoyed their stay there and loved all the games and sports equipment provided too. The beds are all extremely comfortable and there's was ample space for our entire family including two grandparents. The most amazing feeling is getting away from the city and hearing absolutely nothing, no road noises or jets. It's a perfect place to switch off, relax and read a nice book by the sea. It was so peaceful! We'll definitely have to come back in the warmer months!

Gorgeous House and Views

This house on the water was just beautiful. Spacious, extremely clean, well-appointed, and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. My husband and I (and our dog Sweetie Pie) really enjoyed our vacation in this gorgeous home. I went home extremely jealous of the kitchen, in particular. Nick and Gloria were extremely gracious and welcoming but also gave us lots of privacy. The house has gorgeous views and is right on the beach, but there is a small cliff at the edge of the yard. However, the beach is a 5 min walk along the shoreline. There's another beautiful beach on Cove Road less than 5 mins away by car. Convenient to Souris, which has two grocery stores, a hardware store, a dollar store, and thrift store. Wish we had known that before we stocked up in Charlottetown on our way out! The locals were also extremely warm and welcoming. We were looking for a restful place to relax and enjoy the views, long hikes/walks, and the scenery. We definitely got what we wanted. It is a bit of a haul to Charlottetown, which is the closest city, about an hour's drive. But the eastern end of PEI is delightful. Lots of lighthouses, beautiful beaches, and good hiking. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful PEI!

What can be said about a family vacation of 5 adults that was picture perfect from its beginning to its conclusion?! A great deal can be! Our hosts Nick and Gloria, were extremely responsive, helpful and welcoming in all of our communications and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay in their lovely home would be as enjoyable as possible. Thank you Nick and Gloria. Nick and Gloria’s vacation property was spotless upon our arrival and was so well appointed and stocked! From cooking spices to kitchen ware to linens to toiletries to beach accessories; there was nothing that we were lacking. Each room was decorated beautifully and felt so very comfortable. We enjoyed our morning beverages on the expansive deck each day, overlooking the ocean and watching the beautiful morning sunrises as well as the evening sunsets! The “cottage” truly felt like our “home away from home.” The property was manicured and tidy. Having a fire pit to enjoy was an added bonus; roasting hot dogs, making s’mores, gathering around to share after dinner drinks. The beach at low tide was amazing! We would walk the beach, beach combing and taking in the beautiful scenery before us. Truly breath taking. This vacation property is truly special. Thank you Nick and Gloria for opening your home to myself and my family. We left PEI with so many great memories and hope to return one day to create even more lifelong memories. Thank you for everything once again.

Lovely family Vacation
