Waterfront Fishermans & Duck hunters Retreat

Bedrooms 4
Property type house
Minimum Stay 1 - 2 nights

About the property

If you're looking for a getaway to go fishing, hunting, kayaking or just to get away, our little spot in South Coon is just what you're looking for. It has room for up to 6 with two bedrooms with full size beds, two bedrooms with twin beds, 2 bathrooms, kitchen with gas stove and microwave, dining room, screened in porch that overlooks the water, reading room and even a room for your dog. Our home is right on the water and less than 500 yards from nearest boat dock. If you're kayaking you can put in behind the house, Our back yard is TVA owned property. There is a front and back porch. Grill out and watch the sunset. Wall unit air conditioners and gas wall heaters. Perfect for a getaway. We're constantly working to update this home to make it what we envision it to be. This home started out as a mobile home and previous owners have added onto it. It's rustic by some standards, not fancy at all but it's comfortable and cozy. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Please note that our neighbors are permanent residents and have dogs that roam free and often visit the property so if you plan on bringing a pet of your own be mindful of this. And please be respectful of the neighbors late at night. This is greatly appreciated.

Why amy thomas chose Stevenson

My inlaws lived in South Coon for many years before my father in law passed away in 2009. We had to sell their home on five acres to move my mother in law closer to us. This home gave us an opportunity to get back in South 'Coon for a getaway ourselves and to hopefully provide for our boys futures.

What makes this house unique

beautiful water view with convenience at a affordable price

We enjoyed our stay here! The house had lots of room and was very comfortable. Amy was friendly and answered our questions. Our favorite part was the amazing view of the lake! Breathtaking!

Perfect for our needs

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here. It had everything we needed and the location was excellent. Amy was great to talk and work with, not to mention accomadating. The neighbors and dogs were friendly. We had our furr babies, and they loved it as well. We look forward to our next stay here! Thanks Amy!

Great little getaway

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 nights and had a great time. It is located in a quiet, friendly little neighborhood right on the water. Perfect to just get away and relax. There was WIFI and Satelite with DVR and Picture in Picture which my hubby really enjoyed while watching football. There were TV's in 2 of the bedrooms, which is nice since I am not a football fan. :) The house had everything that we needed. It is modest with a shabby country vibe. Cute little touches everywhere. The back porches were really nice but it was cold and a little rainy so we didn't get to use them...but maybe next time. I highly recommend this property.
