Overdale Cottage is exactly as described, it's the perfect place to switch off from the world for a few days. The cottage is immaculately clean and we wanted for nothing. If you're thinking of booking, then just do it - you won't be disappointed!

We came to escape the fireworks and we didnt hear a thing over bonfire night or days either side, the cottage was welcoming, warm, impeccably decorated and just what we were looking for.Communciations with hosts were great and the surrounding area was lovely to explore - will be back next Bonfire night for sure!

Perfect cottage

Overdale Cottage is the perfect Yorkshire Dales stay. It’s authentic, is very clean and has a massive bed. The bath, with an abundance of hot water, is so relaxing. Complimentary logs, kindling and firelighters. Martin or Max will deliver more for a very reasonable sum! Marrick has a Dark Sky status, meaning you can see the stars. Absolutely nothing to complain about and will revisit very soon
