Great Place to Stay

The check in and out were very easy. This place is very quiet and easy access. It is in walking distance from Corozal Town and a few great restaurants. The Care Taker is a very nice person. She is there anytime you need anything, This place has everything you need to cook with.I will being Using them again on my next trip.

Nice place. Great location, best store in the area right across the street.

It's a little too easy for bugs to get in but communication with the owner is quick and he listens. He will fix the gaps around the doors to cut down on the bugs.

It was good

It was good. It is close to the One Mall but a little bit of a walk to town if you don’t have a car. It is a guest house off the back of a main house. Sharlane was nice. We did have problem with our internet going in and out.

If you're someone with high standards of cleanliness then this place will disappoint you. There was geico poop even in the closet where you hang your clothes and underneath toilet as well as plenty on the porch. The mattress needs to be much more comfortable so your back doesn't hurt a little when you wake up. However, location was ideal because it was close to the center of town area and overall the place worked out for the week stay. If they address those issues then we would stay there again! Thank you! Overall we had a great time in Corozal 🙏

a burrow, not a studio. one pot with a torn Teflon coating, huge problems with the internet, paint was peeling from the terribly uneven ceiling in places, the partition walls of the toilet ended half a meter from the ceiling, very little space.

Needs pest control!

Had many, many bugs to include spiders which were not paying rent. I also had a gecko inside which I thought might help the pest problem but I think maybe he needed friends to help. It is a little noisy being by the road but not bad. The A/C unit needs to be a little bigger, I had to run it constantly to keep the room at about 70 degrees. It was very hot outside so maybe it normally works just fine. I chose to check into a different place the last couple days because I just couldn't handle it anymore. This is hard to write because the host was very nice but no refund or help on the problems

Perfect for our short visit.

The picture on the ad is misleading, it looks as though you have the whole house when it’s really a studio in the back side of the house.

Martha is Great..... worked so hard to make our brief stay enjoyable: addressed a small issue and followed up after we checked out. Most Hotels do not have such diligent employees

Great location, just outside of town. Grocery store right across the street. Had a hot plate and microwave, coffee maker, 2 comfortable beds and plenty of towels, a nice covered porch with a hammock. There was no hot water, but that’s common in most places I’ve been to in this part of the world, so it didn’t bother me. It’s actually refreshing after a hot humid day in Belize. All in all I’d recommend this place and will probably stay there again when I come back in January.

This is a small, but nice place to stay on a budget. The air conditioning went out, but they had it fixed the next day.

Great Little Getaway

The unit was comfortable. The bathroom has a nice tile shower. Both beds are firm and comfortable. The kitchenette served us well, for breakfast, lunch and cool drinks. The ceiling fan was not working, but we were able to purchase an oscillating fan at the One Mall just across the highway, and that worked well to circulate the air conditioned air, as well as make a nice white sound for sleeping. Nice TV in the unit with great reception for the evening hours. We ventured over to San Pedro one day, which was very convenient to fly from the nearby airport. Also took1day to travel to Mexico and back.

Noisy & not well supplied

House is right on the busiest highway in northern Belize with lots of truck traffic. House has no hot water to the sinks only to the shower. No microwave safe cookware. Housemaid came unannounced at noon on sunday. Power weed trimmer was used at 6 am on a Friday right next to the house. Would have given it one star were it not for the price and the ease of checkout. Also, it was convenient to be across the street from a large shopping warehouse (rare in Belize) and a delicious restaurant. Be aware that your credit card will be charged the day you make the reservation.
