About this property

Villa Barlavento - fabulous villa with private tennis court

This four bedroom villa is ideally situated on the prestigous Vale do Milho golf complex just minutes from the vale do Milho restaurant. This stunning detached villa is a 15 minute walk to Centeanes beach which offers a restaurant and snack bar along with water sports in the summer months. Carvoeiro is a five minute drive to the west and offers many shops, restaurants and bars and is home to the outstanding Pestana Golf complex offering three championship courses.



The ground level of the villa offers a spacious lounge and dining area with patio doors to the gardens and pool, fully fitted modern kitchen with American style fridge freezer and three bedrooms. There is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom offering walk in shower and bath, there is a further twin bedroom and a twin/king size bedroom (beds can be unzipped) with the use of a further bathroom offering walk in shower, sink & WC. On this level there is also an entrance WC.

All bedrooms have access to the gardens and pool area. Upstairs, there is a master suite with en suite shower room and doors to a private terrace with 360 degree views. All four bedrooms have air conditioning and fitted wardrobes. Externally there is a private tennis court (rackets provided), a large private swimming pool with charming covered seating area, BBQ area and extensive mature gardens with plenty of grass area for children to play.

Overall, this is a fabulous villa in a fantastic location.

Lovely, big and clean house, garden and pool area. Nice private tennis court and walking distance to restaurants and beaches. We absolutely recommend this house for families travelling together. All four bedrooms were really comfortable and big, and the house had everything we needed. Love to come back some time.

The house and garden are spacious, nice swimming pool and the tennis yard is a plus. All agreements were timely in order. Communication was swift. The child chair was not present but was brought immediately after informing Elite. Making sure that the ordered items are present upon arrival (child high chair). Rental price high chair/baby cot is too high.

Perfect Villa for family stay.

Location superb with very quiet roads and surroundings. Response from team to shutter repair and help with alarm very quick and helpful. Outdoor space was excellent, well maintained as was the pool. The Villa file is dated and needs updating. Eg instructions for using TV etc But otherwise difficult to find fault! Perhaps some of inside could be refreshed/updated over time.

Wonderful stay

We have been visiting Carvoeiro for many years and stayed in many villas in the area. Barvalenta was lovely, very spacious, great pool and gardens and good location, we would definitely look to book again. From the villa a charcoal bbq would be great rather than a gas! Otherwise the villa was great. Some feedback for the rental company- I had discussed the use of highchair and cot and we ended up not hiring as the cost was not justifiable. I’ve never had to pay to use a cot nor high chair nor have any friends, especially at that price so I wasn’t impressed, however when we met the rep and the cleaning staff they were all lovely and very helpful and I had no issues.

Villa Barlavento

The property was everything we expected and more. Ten of us in total with 2 extra beds for the small children. The villa and grounds were wonderful and the swimming pool even better! Unfortunately the tennis court surface is in need of repair and could be danerous but this didn't stop us playing. We plan to return.

Brilliant villa

Just back from this villa today. Everything you see in the pictures is 100% accurate. Superb villa in every aspect. We were a party of 8 and extremely comfortable. Only feedback is re the AC units in the two bedrooms at the end of the hall. It was very warm but the AC units were not cooling the rooms. If that can be addressed, it would be great. All in all, I would highly recommend this place.

Booking process was faultless. Minor problem on arrival that the number provided for the keysafe did not work. Problem vert quickly rectified by a quick phone call. Villa is everything we thought it could be and more. Very well equipped,spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Well worth paying for the pool to be heated in May. Would thoroughly recommend.

The property was great, your payments process stinks You did not update your credit card process for secure one time authorisation and no amount of chasing my me resulted in any effort by you to fix it. In the end it took hours of work by my IT systems expert son to find a work around. The property managers were very understanding but your service is an utter disgrace

Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt im grossen Haus mit noch geösserem Garten. Auch den Kinder hat sehr gepasst mit dem schönen Pool und dem Tennisplatz. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Lediglich eine Kaffemaschine haben wir vermisst.

Super Holiday

This villa is very spacious and well equipped, beautiful gardens and lovely pool and well kept tennis court. Our family had a wonderful time here. I would recommend heating the pool in September, although we had super weather the morning and evening temperatures do drop. My only criticism was lack of any provision on arrival, we have stayed in many villas and found that a little something in the fridge makes all the difference, milk, etc. Especially because we did not arrive at the villa until after dark and did not know the neighbourhood. Luckily there is a good bistro on the corner of the road and the owner there made us very welcome, he provided us with a meal, although he had closed his grill. He even did us a take away, for the babysitters at the villa and we managed to purchase a little fruit and milk from him until we visited the supermarket the following morning.

Loved every thing about the villa , location and services , cleaner was lovely , the Gardner and pool man very chatty , local restaurant only 3 min walk was great , food amazing and catered for children , only thing I would say is there should be plastic glasses for around the pool ( I luckily took my own ) overall it was a fantastic stay .

Wonderful house!

This house was absoultely wonderful! It was perfect for our large family. The grounds are beautiful and the kitchen is very well stocked. It's not often that a property is better than what is shown in pictures! Thanks for a great week in the Algarve!
