Mid Terrace Cottage in the heart of helmsley! 2 Bedrooms 1 x king bed with Tv, 1 x twin and bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC, ground floor basin and WC, open plan kitchen and dinning with living area and seating area, gas central heating, electric oven and gas hob, microwave , fridge/freezer and washing machine. 2 x TV with free WIFI, bed linen and towels inc in rent. Off road parking, front garden and rear area court yard with furniture. From the front door, there is an open plan living area, with well equipped kitchen , dinning area and seating area. Up stairs there are 2 lovely bedrooms, 1 with king size bed and TV and the other is a twin bedroom.
From the cottage, take a short walk into the centre of Helmsley, where you will find individual and unique shops, galleries, boutiques and of course many pubs and restaurants.

Well situated comfortable cottage with everything we needed.Clean overal but dusty.Some of the cutlery was not clean and the frying pan was full of fat ! This should be left clean by the previous occupents.There was no communication about disposing of recycling so we brought ours home with us.Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would stay again and recommend to others.

Perfect location

Clean and bright. Comfortable beds. Powerful shower but if you like to see fluffy towels, purposely bought holiday home white bed linen, pillow protectors, newer duvets, newer pillows, basic purposely bought matching crockery and glasses and so on this is not the cottage for you.

Excellent location. Very clean. Horrid art work…to our taste at least. Coffee machine a challenge. Trash protocols rather taxing. But otherwise excellent.

Lovely cottage great location. Had everything we needed even had dishwasher tablets and teabags although I did take my own.

Cosy Helmsley cottage

Ideal layout for a holiday cottage with a spacious shared living / dining / cooking downstairs. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have the option of bath or shower. Excellent quiet location with just a short walk to shops and pubs.

Lovely cottage in a lovely setting

Helmsley is a lovely village / market town people are friendly . The cottage is situated very close to the town which is a bonus.

Spring chill out

Very clean property . Superb quiet location within east reach of all amenities . Very well equipped house … we didn’t need to do cooking but if you did everything is there ! Private parking a bonus . All communication clear . We will be back !

Great location and relaxing stay

We stayed at the property for a week. It is within walking distance of the town square, which has plenty of shops, tea rooms and great bakeries. There are also good walks which start in Helmsley and are recommended. It's also a good base for day trips to Whitby, Thirsk, etc. We recommend the property which was great for our family.

Helmsley Stay

We had the most amazing week, the location was superb and the holiday let was just what we wanted and expected. The bed was so comfortable and the rental included everything we needed. Any issues were dealt with without hassle. A great say and we would love to come back.

Lovely quiet house in the centre of picturesque Helmsley

Very nice house with well equipped kitchen, bathroom etc. Really peaceful despite being in the centre of the town. Helmsley itself is beautiful and there are lots of lovely walks/bike rides locally as well as plenty of historic buildings to visit. The greengrocer has lots of fresh produce and the bakers are excellent, there are some great places to eat in as well. Thanks for a brilliant holiday!

Great comfortable base to explore Yorkshire

Ideal self-catering property, very well located with a parking space and lots of facilities nearby yet easy to get out and explore the area. The property was well equipped and comfortable, really quiet too despite being in the town.

Useful comments

Property was excellent well presented and well appointed. Three very minor criticisms, for older guests a grab handle to aid entry and exit from bath/shower, if 4 persons are occupying the house if they were wanting to sit outside there was only 2 chairs and garden table. Finally a no 8 on the parking area and the refuse bin. APart from those points everything else was superb.

Spacious and Centrally located

Ideal location for the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast. Spacious property in a quiet location yet in the centre of Helmsley. Highly recommended.

Social distancing in Helmsley

We wanted to be safe and comfortable in a different area. To refresh our spirits after six long months under the cloud of Covid. The house is modern and well equipped. We are less agile than we were and we found the sofa too low and hard to stand up from. The shower over the bath was very good. The toilet seat in the bathroom upstairs was loose and I didn’t have the tools needed to tighten it up to hold it in place (H &S). The place is very well situated near the centre of this growing market town.

Excellent location

A lovely property in an excellent location, only two minutes to market square, shops, pubs and restaurants, but also very quiet, great for exploring North Yorkshire Would recommend and will definitely return.
