Típica granja de la familia Briarde que data de 1780, comprada por uno de los herederos en 2004, con la esperanza de no ver desaparecer esta mansión, en piedras antiguas. Las paredes de este edificio son muy gruesas, lo que permite mantener la frescura de la casa incluso cuando hace mucho calor en verano. Un gran porche da acceso al patio interior. La casa está ubicada en un pequeño pueblo ubicado en medio de la viña. También puede contemplar algunas viñas muy viejas apoyadas contra la pared del jardín.

Champagne vacation

Beautiful property with the backdrop of the regional Champagne countryside and of course vineyards on its doorstep. The property itself has all the up to date amenities to make for a great stay and the hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful house with lovely hosts

We had a truly great time. Nicole, Jean-Louis and Sebastien are wonderful hosts. After the check-in they accompanied us to the neighbours where we had the first champagne tasting. The house, located in the middle of champagne fields, is impeccable and the perfect location to visit Reims, Epernay and all the other great champagne places. We will definitely return to this place!

Nice house in a quiet village

We enjoyed this house a lot. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room cosy and the beds are wonderful. We slept like babies. The owner sent us to the Champagne producer next door. We lived the Champagne which is excellent and bought many bottles there. Great experience!

Wonderful weekend

We stayed in this beautiful farmhouse for 2 nights. Everything was perfect from booking, communication, arrival, the stay and departure. The house was spotless and we were left a bottle of champagne and biscuits which was a lovely touch. Everything you need for cooking was present, comfy beds, powerful shower etc some nice walks from the front door and 20 mins to Épernay. There is no shop in the village so you need to stop off en route to stock up. Peaceful location in the middle of vineyards. We had a truly lovely weekend.

Well equipped property in quiet location

A very well equipped, clean property in a quiet village location. The owners were welcoming and friendly and we managed to communicate reasonably well considering my French is limited and the owners English was also limited. The house has everything you need for a stay, including coffee machines, hairdryer, linen and towels, washing machine and tumble dryer. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies and a welcome bottle of champagne and biscuits. The outside area is lovely. The area is very quiet but there are good facilities in Dormans which is only a 10 minute drive from the property. Would recommend.

Excellent base for touring the champagne region

The house is located in a small village approximately 25 minutes west of Epernay. However, everything you might need can be found in Dormans, just 10 minutes away. The village is located on the Champagne Route and it is a great starting point for touring this unforgetable region. The house, dating back to the mid-eighteenth century, has been lovingly restored, keeping many of the original architectural features. We spent a lot of time enjoying being outside on the patio; a delightful place for that morning cup of coffee. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend renting this gite from the very friendly, and helpful, owners. A 'library' of brochures and information on the local region is provided. Take the time to visit the tourist office and Memorial located in a beautiful park in Dormans.

Beautiful Home and Exceptional Host

We had a wonderful visit in this magical old farmhouse with modern amenities situated nicely within the Champagne region. It was just me and my wife this trip so there was lots of room but a young family or the right group would also be very comfortable with the extra bedrooms. I’m 6’4” so I slept great (a bit on a diagonal) under the warm comforter covers. Each day we’d spend some time after our adventures in the courtyard area on the deck just above the updated water feature in the warm spring sun sipping champagne and snacking on cheese, crackers, and fruit. We were there mostly to research and experience the terrain of the Second Battle of the Marne but I am confident that hosts Jean-Louis and Nicole will make any trip a success whatever the objective. They may be the biggest gems of all with their attentiveness, kind demeanors, and vast familiarity with the area. It was a lovely visit for us.

Un séjour parfait au cœur de la ChampagneNous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cette magnifique demeure historique, rénovée avec goût et appartenant à la même famille depuis la Révolution française. La maison allie le charme d'antan au confort moderne, et sa situation dans une vallée paisible entourée de vignobles est vraiment exceptionnelle. C'est un havre de paix, idéalement situé pour explorer Épernay et la région champenoise.Nous avons adoré les dégustations intimistes dans les maisons de champagne du village, notamment chez Boulogne-Diouy, juste à côté, et chez Maximy Regis. La maison est également parfaite pour les familles, avec de nombreuses attentions. Nos hôtes nous ont accueillis avec de délicieuses spécialités locales, ce qui a rendu notre arrivée chaleureuse et personnalisée.Un lieu de séjour rare et authentique en Champagne. Fortement recommandé aux voyageurs qui sauront apprécier et prendre soin de cette belle demeure.

Super séjour à Nesles le Repons

Nous avons passé 3 jours à Nesles le Repons entre Noël et Nouvel an. La maison est très agréable et très bien équipée, spacieuse et confortable. L’accueil des propriétaires était parfait. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Wonderful property in the middle of Champagne fields

We really liked staying at the Houlots property. The two very friendly owners explained all facilities upon arrival and even a cold bottle of champagne was arranged for us. We really liked the cleanliness of the property and the large outdoor area. All the spacious rooms are also a big plus for this property. From the property it is possible to visit several small Champagne producers (even within walking distance!). Driving towards Epernay is around 20 mins. The only feedback we have for improvement is the internet connection which is rather slow. I guess this has also todo with the very big walls in the property and the bandwidth which is available in Nesle-le-Repons. For upcoming guests that need a stable internet conection, the Orange 4G netwerk via phone works quite good (mainly outside). Nicolé and Sébastien thanks for the wonderful stay, we would definitely recommend your property.

Amazing stay!

Nicole and Jean-Louis were amazing hosts. Their home is like something out of a story book. The little town has three champagne houses in it, all in walking distance, and I absolutely recommend visiting them. We can’t wait to come back.

Magnifique maison de charme

Très belle maison, entièrement refaite, avec des travaux de grande qualité. Les enfants ont particulièrement apprécié le beau jardin, et le paysage autour est magnifique. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et nous ont donné de bons conseils.

Très agréable week-end entre amis

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour pour le nouvel an. Nous étions 3 couples d'amis avec enfants. En plus de son charme, la maison est très bien équipée. Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux malgré notre arrivée finalement très en avance. Nos hôtes se sont adaptés avec une grande gentillesse et je les en remercie encore.
