Great apartment in a fantastic location
Plenty of room in this apartment for a family of 4 (two teenagers). Beds were really comfy and air con worked well, which was useful as we stayed during a very hot spell! We had a hire car and there was no problem parking for free in the street outside the apartment. You have to navigate a one-way system if driving to the apartment so definitely worth checking your route ahead of your visit. Sandra was extremely helpful and friendly, and texting her when leaving the airport meant she was ready for us on arrival. Kitchen had everything we needed and the shower was good. Lovely views of the Grand Harbour from the balcony and there are also sunbeds on the roof you can use. We couldn't see a DVD player, although one is advertised - not a big issue though! The apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring Valletta - just a 5 min walk up the steps to the main shopping/eating area. We'd recommend the Bridge Bar that has live jazz in a stunning setting at the weekend. Also the War Rooms are a must visit and just a couple of minutes walk away. I would definitely recommend this apartment!
Excellent long weekend
We were very pleased with the property; there was plenty of space, and good facilities. The location was quiet, and it was an interesting spot near the old wharves, and new cruise ship dock. It was not far to the lift to the Upper Barakka Gardens, and from there, all of Valetta was within easy reach. We loved the kiosk cafe in the Gardens. Highly recommend the pea pastizzi.
What's not to like?
What a great place to stay! The flat could hardly be better placed, with great views over Grand Harbour from the little balcony and from the roof terrace, and all the sights and sounds of Valletta within a few minutes walk, but located in a quiet street that makes for a good night's sleep. Two minutes is all it takes to get to the Barracca lift and the gardens above, or from the Custom House for a tour of the harbour by dghajsa. There may be posher apartments, and there are certainly more expensive ones. But this one had everything we needed and more besides.
Fantastic place. Spacious, central, clean, well equipped. Sandra was very helpful in letting us leave luggage for the day on the day we left, booking taxis, etc. Highly
Thank you, Dominic. So glad you enjoyed yourselves in Malta.
Fabulous Location, Stunning Views, Quiet Area
The apartment is very spacious, clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped if you fancy cooking a meal.
The views of the Grand Harbour are breath taking from the balcony. The apartment is in a great location being handy to Valletta centre and the waterfront but located in a nice quiet area.
Sandra was very friendly, attentive and helpful.
We highly recommend a stay at Debra’s apartment!!!
Thanks Margaret, so glad you enjoyed your time with us. You'll always be welcomed back.
Had a great weekend in this apartment, was very clean and had everything you need for self-catering. The location is ideal for the water taxis between Valletta and the Three Cities and a short walk to the lift. The views are fabulous, we were amazed at how peaceful it was! Without hesitation I would most definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you to lady who waited for us to arrive too!
So glad you enjoyed yourselves! Thanks for the feedback.
Valletta - drenched in centuries of history, yet alive with the bustle of cosmopolitan Mediterranean life - truly deserves its status as World Heritage City. From our apartment in Dahlet Gnien is-Sultan, a two-minute stroll takes you into the heart of the old city with its spectacular baroque architecture, distinctive wooden balconies, cool fountains and shaded courtyards. Near year-round sunshine means you can make the most of an al-fresco lifestyle in its squares, gardens and cafes. Explore Valletta's many churches, the Grandmaster's Palace and the Auberges of the Knights of St John, or visit the delightful 17th century Manoel Theatre, the oldest theatre in Europe. Valletta loves to party - there's the famous festas in honour of patron saints, street parades and Carnival - you're bound to catch at least one of these during your stay. And, of course, you'll have a grandstand view of spectacular firework displays over the floodlit Fort St Angelo and Fort St Elmo.
