Good location and a helpful and responsive host. Clean. Amenities are close at hand and views over park are pleasant. Off street parking a bonus.Property is a bit tired in places compared to the pictures posted. We were a party of 11 so served our purpose being in the one house.

Beautiful property in great location

Really enjoyed our stay at Leo’s during our recent trip to Liverpool. The house is well looked after and had everything we needed with a big kitchen and dining area, quality space, great garden and a big park across the road for outdoor space, and a games room downstairs which we used for the evening. Local shops and other supermarkets nearby made everything very easy and Leo was very helpful and attentive so we were made to feel comfortable throughout our stay. Would recommend to anyone planning to visit the city!

You should choose Newsham Park for your trip to Liverpool for two compelling reasons: its unique blend of historical charm and natural beauty. The park itself, designed by Sir Joseph Paxton (the same architect responsible for London's Crystal Palace), boasts a rich history dating back to the Victorian era, lending a timeless feel to the area. This heritage is beautifully reflected in the architecture of the surrounding properties.

What truly stands out about staying here is the access to the park's expansive 121 acres of greenery, featuring two lakes, landscaped gardens, vibrant flower beds, and ornamental features. Being awakened by the birds in the morning and feeling surrounded by nature while still being in the centre of Liverpool is an experience that few properties can offer. There’s something incredibly calming about watching the swans glide across the water or simply sitting by the lakeshore on a quiet afternoon.

You’ll find that the park’s amenities make it much more than just a green space. The walking and cycling paths provide an ideal way to stay active while enjoying the natural beauty. With football pitches, tennis courts, and play areas, it’s also a fantastic spot for families. This means you’ll never be far from the vibrant life of the city, while still being able to retreat to the peaceful and picturesque surroundings of the park.

What sets our property apart is the blend of elegant period features and modern conveniences, giving you the best of both worlds.

Our kitchen is fully equipped for large groups, featuring a 6-ring gas cooker, oven, microwave, two double fridges, a freezer, and an extra freezer in the basement. You’ll have ample storage space, and we provide all the pots, pans, and utensils you need. Two wine coolers are available for that perfect sparkling moment, and there's a dishwasher with tablets, oils, salt, and pepper to get you started.

The kitchen also has an island with four high chairs and a breakfast table for six, making it an ideal space for up to 10 people to gather and create memories.

When the weather is nice, enjoy a BBQ in the back garden. Some guests can relax in the hot tub while others unwind in the seating area.

The spacious living and dining rooms are perfect for quality time. The dining room, overlooking the garden, has an art deco table seating 10 under a period chandelier. The living room, with views of the park, offers three large sofas, an armchair, and a coffee table under another lovely chandelier, with a smart TV over the fireplace.

For relaxation, there's a spa room with a hot tub and shower – a peaceful retreat after exploring.

Our cinema room in the basement, with a 70-inch TV, wine cooler, two sofas, and a bench, is perfect for movie nights, big matches, or board games without disturbing others.

All bedrooms feature smart TVs, and we offer super-fast 900 Mbps internet on all floors. When we renovated, we aimed to create the perfect second home, and we love it – we’re sure you will too.

Travel light and do laundry while you’re here; we have two washing machines and a tumble dryer.

With private parking for three cars (plus free on-street parking), you won’t need to worry about space. Unlike typical hotels or smaller rentals, our villa offers space, privacy, and freedom to enjoy your time together.
