About this property

Workshop - a holiday home that sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms

The Workshop is a little gem of a holiday home, nestled in a quiet road a mere 30m from the harbourside in the heart of the village. The open plan living area is welcoming, spacious and cosy, with views down to the quay where you can watch the little blue ferries shuttling to Falmouth. There is a raised mezzanine deck with extra seating with an even better view of the harbour and on the ground floor are 3 bedrooms, a master with ensuite shower room, a zip and link double and a further single ensuring a full range of accommodation options for most families.

St Mawes is one of the most exclusive traditional villages in the Country, with a wealth of activities within close reach. Historic Castles from the era of Henry VIII, glistening blue waters, bustling beaches, Cornish Pubs, award-winning restaurants, amazing coastal walks, ferries to different locations, little motor boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, all available for rental. (During the season) The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, there are many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools, there are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony. (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan, with its famous round houses.
