White Flowers, a bright and spacious typical apartment in the Santa Croce district.



Spacious and bright apartment on the ground floor of a building in the Santa Croce district. This modern apartment offers a living area with a dining room and kitchen, and a living room with a TV and a sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, including a microwave, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster. White Flowers features two bedrooms, the first furnished with a queen-size bed, and the second with two single beds. The layout is completed by a bathroom with a shower.

Known throughout the world as the city built on water, given its construction on 100 islands in the lagoon, Venice is one of Italy's most popular locations worldwide.

It is a real open-air museum, thanks to its historical and artistic heritage made of churches, palaces, and museums.

Strolling through Venice is like diving in the past: the so-called calli (streets) are dotted and framed by aristocratic buildings such as the Doge's Palace, the historic home of the Doges, spectacular bridges including the famous Rio Alto Bridge, and canals navigable by gondolas, waterbuses, and boats of all kinds.

The most famous local event is definitely the Carnival, thanks to its centuries-old tradition of masks and costumes that enliven the streets every year.

Venice apartment

We were only in town for one night. Check in was easy and the apartment was clean and as listed. Good location to get everywhere we wanted to go.

Nice location

We enjoyed this property that had views of the canal but away from the crowds. The property managers were very responsive. We would stay here again if we return to Venice.

Great location.

Great location. Odd space, but this could be typical for Venice since it is so old. The master bed room smelled moldy.

Great Location

This apartment is in a great location to easily walk to the major sites in Venice. It was a comfortable set-up for my family of 4. Clean and modernized.

Very clean

This apartment was extremely clean and was just the size we needed for our stay in Venice. The property managers were always very prompt responding to any questions I may have had. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone! It was in a quiet side street so we never worried about noise from foot traffic.

Nice location! Easy to transportation

Quiet property. We were happy about the property we chose. They alley you go down looks kinda sketchy but it’s perfectly safe. We found it easily. Rooms were comfortable. Great cafe down the street. Very close to the transportation center where you can grab a water taxi or water bus or bus or cab to get around Venice.

Quiet place on the canal

Location was perfect - away from all the hustle & bustle but still within a short distance for site-seeing. The door was not marked properly which made it confusing but the pictures helped to clarify. Could have been a littler cleaner.

Don't be intimidated by the narrow alley way to this nice property

The apartament is well located and it makes it easy to travel with kids. If you arrive earlier than the check in time make sure to ask them about using their lockers at Piazzale Roma. We were able to have a nice lunch before check in without having to carry our luggage around. Their check in instructions were very detailed and we were able to get there following their instructions. The property was clean and backs to a canal. We had no noise issues during our stay. We had a great time and would consider coming back to the same property again. Grazie mille!

Loved the apartment - not fond of independent check in …

Apartment was clean and well located for our purposes. Nice grocery store and bakery near by. It’s not just this apartment - many VRBO seem to have gone to self check in . Nope! not for me.. Have to find office, lock boxes, codes, then have to find apartment . Gone are the days, I guess, where an agent meets you, shows you the apartment and acclimates you to kitchen, AC, garbage routine etc. Miss that - self check in is hard work and adds to the stress . Apartment itself was great.

Quiet apartment by the canal

The apartment was quiet and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the rooms large. Off the main walkway so it was quiet, but yet close to so much. Watch your head going into the washroom as the door and ceiling are low. Obtaining the key was easy, with good directions. We did have an issue one evening where we could not unlock our door and could not make contact with the host company. Two phone numbers, Whatsapp, email and text produced no reply until an email arrived after our check-out. An emergency contact is important. Overall, the property description is very accurate.

BEAUTIFULLY Remodeled Apartment! :-)

The apartment was Remodeled Beautifully! Completely new kitchen, bathroom, awesome light fixtures, paint, furniture; everything!! Very contemporary, classy design... The apartment is tucked back away from the hustle & bustle of the Main walkway, but not too far. Overall location is ideal within walking distance of everything, especially the Train Station, as we took the High Speed Train from Rome to Venice... (flew out of Venice) Taxi ride from Train Station/Apartment Area to Airport is about a 15 min ride. The apartment had all the necessary amenities. Check in was a little difficult, the step-by-step instructions & reference photos were off. They need to update the photos for the Key Lock-Boxes. The only 2 things I recommend for Ownership/Management is: Provide 2 sets of keys, they only gave us one set. And add a little shelf in the Shower for Soap & Shampoo. Otherwise, this is an excellent choice for Lodging!! We would stay here again... :-)

Leider handelt es sich bei den Fotos um typische Katalog Fotos. Alles wirkt hell unx strahlend. Besonders enttäuschend ist das Bad. Die Tür konnte nicht gelossen werden, an der Wand war Schimmel, die Toilettenbrille war lose und sichlich alt, Seife/ Shampoo fehlten komplett. Alles zusammen wirkte das Bad sehr unhygienisch.Auch das Geschirr in der Küche war teilweise dreckig. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur, über dies alles, lief sehr schleppend und unbefriedigend.

White Flowers in Santa Croce

Location to taxi stands, restaurants, cafes and water taxis is excellent. Apartment was very European so simple but functional. However, the check in process was a bit cumbersome. You didn’t get all the directions for arrival until 24 hours before you arrive. Since I was on a sailboat, I could not access the directions until I got to the airport. Trying to read the very small print on a phone at 10:30 at night while juggling luggage was extremely difficult and frustrating and not how I wanted to begin my Venice trip. I recommend requesting that info before your travels begin especially if arriving late because you first have to go to an office and get your keys from a lockbox, then navigate the maze of roads and bridges in Venice with luggage and then wander down an alley with a gate to the courtyard and punch in a code to open it. Also know that you have to take care of your own trash when you leave which is similar to renting a condo but not as luxurious as if you were in a hotel.

Quieter next neighborhood yet accessible to the heart of Venice

The office location, key pick up and flat were easy to find by following directions provided by the property manager. We were able to walk from the train station to the flat within 15-20 including the stop to get the keys. Once in the flat, we found the layout a bit strange with one central transition area to the bath, 2 bedrooms & kitchen. Bedrooms both had fantastic AC (which was needed in the very hot weather). The others rooms had no AC, so there was no central place to gather comfortably with the family. Kitchen was well equipped and shower was powerful and roomy. Beds were also comfortable. It was helpful to have a washing machine since we’d been on the road for two weeks. We easily walked to many sites and used to water bus to reach further destinations. We enjoyed the quiet area and ended our stay with a lovely evening gondola ride.
